MEET MAREN

Maren brings professional coaching solutions to motivated leaders in the college athletic setting. Known as a problem solver, motivator, and relationship builder, she is passionate about removing self-doubt, improving self-responsibility, and partnering with people to maximize their leadership and impact within their communities. 

Maren is a teacher and coach at her core. Whether it is mentoring student-athletes on the basketball court or supporting business leaders and corporate executives, Maren is driven by opening doors and empowering others to live out their dreams.

As a student-athlete at Penn State University, Maren earned all-conference honors and competed in the 2000 NCAA Final Four in Philadelphia. She played professionally in the WNBA and in Ligue Féminine de Basketball in France. A 10-year assistant coach and 5-year head coach, at the Division 1 level, Maren has personal leadership and management experience in high stress and public spheres.
 
After 15 years of coaching women's basketball, Maren enjoys using her on-court expertise as a television analyst. This adventure allows Maren to continue to share her love of the game.

Maren is a ACC Certified coach throughout the ICF, a Certified Professional Business Coach by the Professional Business Coach Alliance (PBCA) and a Core Essentials Graduate from Coach U (CEG). Maren is certified to use the Extended DISC behavioral assessment tool and the One Page Business Plan in her coaching engagements.
