Tejet: A traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean fermented beverage made from cocoa or chocolate mixed with honey and spices. It has a rich flavor and is gaining attention among craft brewers.

Xocoatl: A bitter, spiced chocolate drink consumed by Aztec emperor Montezuma. Made from ground cacao beans mixed with water and flavored with chili peppers, vanilla, and annatto. It played a vital role in Aztec society and evolved into modern hot chocolate.
