Introduction: The Problem with 'Shoulds'

Do you ever find yourself shooting yourself? I should cut the grass. I should clean my garage out. I should lose 10 pounds. I should be a better person. You know, those shoulds are a negative way of, of approaching life where we're always judging ourselves. We're filled with, uh, conflicting, uh, you know, choices that we have to make and it can get really.

While I should be home, taking care of cleaning out the garage and doing all those house chores, I know the life's most life-giving thing for me is being here on retreat just for a week as I connect with my inner self, as I connect with God in a deeper way. And hopefully when I return home to my loved ones, I'll be a even better person.

Practical Application and Conclusion

I'll be more life giving for myself and others. So this week, I would just suggest to you as a a finding flow tip. Is recognize when you're shoulding yourself and
