Welcome to Spirituality on the Go. Today I invite you to experience a guided meditation called Coming Home to Your Inner Christopher Robin, your true self grounded in God.

So to begin with, find a place that's safe and quiet so you can spend a few minutes just being alone with yourself and God.

So you can enter into this quiet and gentle meditation. As we begin, I invite you to take a few deep breaths. Breathe in and breathe out. Breathe in and breathe out.

Your breath is the Holy Spirit, the breath of life flowing in and through you. It allows your mind to sink into your heart space.

So just be present to the life force, the Holy Spirit flowing in and through your lungs as you rest in this quiet place within you. Let your body settle into the chair or the cushion where you're sitting. Feel your feet resting on the ground, your body supported, your breath flowing gently in and through your lungs.

Now imagine you're walking into Winnie the Pooh's hundred acre wood. Imagine a woods that you're walking in, a place of peace, playfulness, wonder. The beauty of nature surrounds you.

In your imagination, experience the sunlight filtering gently through the trees. You hear the birds. You feel safe here.

In this sacred space, which is really your heart space, your imagination, there lives a man named Christopher Robin. He's calm and steady, kind, loving, and wise beyond his years. He's accompanied by a number of his friends, and he listens to each one of them with compassion and love.

Christopher Robin is a symbol of your true self, the self that's fully grounded in God, steady in the midst of life's emotions, and at peace with all the different emotions and parts of who you are. Now let's meet the characters within Christopher Robin, your true self's world. As you walk with Christopher Robin through the woods, you meet each one of his friends, one by one, representing a part of you.

See who shows up first. You might notice Winnie the Pooh, the simple and trusting heart in you that delights in honey and friendship, the part of you that enjoys life's small, sweet gifts and pleasures. Maybe Piglet appears, the tender, anxious part of you that sometimes feels small or unsure, the part of you that longs for safety, reassurance, is filled at times with fear.

Perhaps you encounter Eeyore, the part of you that carries sadness and fatigue, the part of you that wonders why life is so difficult, the part of you that forgets joy is part of life and still, despite the sadness, quietly shows up each day.

Okay, I'll do it. You might hear Tigger, that bouncing with excitement and energy, the part of you that loves enthusiasm and adventure, the part of you that springs into action and is just excited about your life and the possibilities and dreams within you, the part of you that loves life and is grateful.

And then there's Rabbit, who likes things in order, the part of you that's the planner, the doer, the one who tries to keep everything under control and everyone under control, the one who's filled with that desire to make things go as planned and make everybody step in line, including himself.

And then there's Wise Owl, the part of you that is filled with reason and intellect, the mind within you that seeks understanding and wisdom, the part of you that's grounded in God's voice of love, truth, that sees things above the surface level and seeks a deeper understanding of truth.

Finally, you may see Kanga and Roo, those symbols of your inner child, nurturing, caring, and innocent curiosity, the part of you that sees things with wonder and awe, the part of you that is still filled with joy and wonder.

Each one of these friends in the sacred woods with which you are experiencing, they live within each one of us. Each one of these friends has something to offer us, and none of them are bad or broken. They all belong.

They're part of us. They just sometimes get scattered within us, and we tend to live from one of those friends and not the integration of all of them. We need to come back home to Pooh Corner, where Christopher Robin lives, who integrates all the parts of us, who is our true self in God.

So, as you walk through the hundred-acre wood, pause for a moment and ask yourself quietly, which one of these characters feels most like me right now?

Which one of these characters, these personalities, you might say, these parts of our inner being, which one of them am I experiencing most right now? Notice what arises without judgment, just awareness.

Because as we begin to discover our true self, we're able to pull together and identify which part of us is a little unbalanced, which part needs to be integrated into the Christopher Robin within us. So ask yourself, are you the eager tigger, bouncing from task to task?

Are you the thoughtful owl, always thinking, thinking, thinking? Are you the gentle Winnie the Pooh, trusting in life's goodness? Or are you the weary Eeyore, longing for rest? Are you Kanga or Roo, the inner child within you that needs more love, more assurance? Let yourself smile softly.

Whatever you notice is welcome. It's all good. Take a deep breath.

Feel how this character shows up in your body. Where do you feel their energy? In your chest? Your belly? Your shoulders? Your head? Just notice what you experience in your body, the felt sense of this part of you. And offer that part of you compassion and understanding.

It's okay. You're okay. Now imagine Christopher Robin standing beside you, within you.

Christopher Robin smiles, the kind of smile that makes you feel completely safe and seen. And you realize that Christopher Robin is you too. Your inner Christopher Robin is the steady, grounded center of your soul.

Your true self that integrates all these parts of your being and rests in God's love and holds all your inner friends in peace and joy and wonder. Take a deep breath and imagine stepping into the energy of your true self. Stand tall and relaxed.

Allow the Inner Christopher Robin within you to just be present. Where do you notice your true self within your body? The felt sense of your true self within you as you. Calm, centered, loving, heart open to hear the wisdom of God.

To receive the divine love and embrace of God. Notice how your breath deepens as you settle into your true self and integrate all the parts of you as one, one in God, one in you. Your shoulders release.

Your heart feels open and steady. In this inner space, your sacred heart, the sacred woods with which in you flow, your mind and emotions quiet. The parts of you that were restless or anxious begin to soften.

And you know, you know that you know that you know you are grounded in God. You are anchored in the divine love that created you, that flows within you now, always. Your sacred breath, the spirit of God flowing in and through you.

Stay here for a few breaths. Let that peaceful awareness wash through your body and just feel what it feels like to be anchored in your true self in God. Let your true self, your inner Christopher Robin, lead you with gentle wisdom and abundant, unconditional love.

This is your true self, all the parts of you that become scattered as we move through the day. But you have the ability, with God's grace, to draw yourself back to your true self within you. You have the ability to get back home to Pooh Corner, the Pooh Corner within you, that is that sacred space within each one of our hearts and souls where God is God within us.

Where your human and divine spirit are always one in God as you awaken and remember that truth. As this time of meditation comes to a close, take a moment perhaps to give thanks.

Thank your inner Pooh, your piglet, your Eeyore, your digger, your rabbit, your owl, your Kanga and Roo.Thank them. And also thank your inner Christopher Robin, who lovingly gathers them all in you. Thank you, God, you might say, for grounding me in your love.

Thank you for the many parts of my being and for the true self in me that holds them all in peace with your grace. Help me, God, with each breath I take to feel your divine presence, my true self in you. Let my breath, my feet on the floor ground me in you.

And when you're ready, gently open your eyes, bringing this peace within you into the rest of your day. And know that as you move through your day, you can remember at any time to return to Pooh Corner. You can pause throughout the day and during your quiet time, your meditation time, to notice which character is most alive in you right now.

Who's speaking to me at this moment, you can ask yourself. And how can I return to my integrated true self, my inner Christopher Robin grounded in God's love?

Each time you return to your inner self, your true self, you step once again into the divine flow, the calm centered awareness where your body, mind and spirit are one in God, always and forever. God bless you.

Thanks for being you, for returning to your true self again and again, as we all practice remembering who we are, our true self in God.
