S01:E05: 23 Questions with Joe Shirey

 In the 23 Questions series, Jeff invites leaders to answer 23 questions that help leaders share insights to their leadership styles.  

Today’s guest is Joe Shirey. He is President of ISE Consulting, a small organizational development firm helping organizations to manage change through strategic planning, executive coaching, and improved leader-follower communication. Prior to ISE Consulting, Joe was a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst with Lockheed Martin and served in the Air Force as a fighter pilot, Squadron Commander, and staff officer, retiring as a Colonel in 2001. He has a BS in Management from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Masters in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, a master’s in strategic studies from the U.S Air War College, and a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. Joe has been an Adjunct Professor serving both Regent University in Virginia Beach and Norwich University in Vermont at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Jeffrey W. Ganthner, DSL, AIA has 30 years of professional experience launching and leading organizations filled with architects, engineers, construction, and technology professionals. In addition to his architectural and engineering degrees and professional licenses, he has a doctorate from Regent University in Strategic Leadership and currently serves as a professor at Regent University teaching classes in leadership, organizational design, development, and optimization.
