On this episode of Educate Everyone, Dr. Joseph Atman's guest is Deanna Alsdorf, the Community Development Coordinator at Foothill Family Shelter in Upland, CA. In this role, she manages all social media and communication platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Constant Contact. She is also responsible for networking, content creation, marketing fund development campaigns, planning special events, and representing Foothill Family Shelter at community and networking meetings. Alsdorf talks with Dr. Atman about how the programs at Foothill Family Shelter don't just solve the immediate problem of homelessness but instead teach parents the financial skills they need to create stable home situations for themselves and their children.
