Dr. Tomlinson is the William Clay Parrish, Jr. Professor Emeritus at the University of Virginia and a leading expert on differentiated instruction. A former public school teacher and Virginia’s 1974 Teacher of the Year, she has authored over 300 works to help educators meet the needs of diverse learners. Her influence is global, and in 2023 she was ranked among the top curriculum scholars shaping public education discourse. She and Dr. Atman talk compare the adventof computers in the classroom with the current introduction of AI and how the technology has the power to once again change classroom dynamics and education itself.
