Marti’s legacy will survive her death,thanks to her loyal co-hosts, Coz Whitten-Skaife, Marsha Joiner, and Marcel Reid who will continue the podcast in Marti’s memory and with help from others whose lives Marti touched in positive ways.
Marti Oakley was a giant social activist with diverse interests and advocacy:adult guardianship,hospice,whistleblowers,kidney dialysis, black farmers,wild horses,animals,and more
Marti hosted,or was a guest on over1,800 radio shows.Marti started the show “Voices Carry for Animals” and TS Radio Network.in order to host other radios shows and cover as many issues as possible.
She spoke at the Whistleblowers Summit in Washington D.C.,and hosted a radio show called “Whistleblowers!”
