Tonights’ guest is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who had the knowledge to protect her parent’s when their life may have been over with hospice predictions. But make no mistake, the story would have been much different if she hadn’t fought the system. She will share with us warning signs and practical ways to avoid being a victim.
In addition to being an LPN since 1977, she worked as a Med-Surg Psychiatric Nurse Homecare, Head Nurse in skilled care, Supervisor of a Substance Abuse Program and taught Certified Nurses Aide classes. Debbie was a member of the former Hospice Patient’s Alliance with Ron Panzer, Vicki Travis and myself. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the subject of hospice and its' abuse!
