August 3, 2017.would be the last day Jackie saw her husband. Tony alive. They had both been clear that Tony wanted to fight for his life and did not consent to be drugged to death, but that is exactly what happened while in a hospice in Orlando, Florida! They decided he met hospice lax criteria and that it was time for him to go. He was given haldol, ativan, morphine along with fentanyl to ensure he wouldn't make it inspite of Jackie revoking hospice when she saw him taking a turn for the worse. Jackie called 911 and was told that he had received a drug overdose and they gave him Narcon to reverse the drug affects but it was too late. Listen to Jackie tell her husband's tragic last days. What makes it harder is they convince the family to give these drugs.
It's hard to talk about how we were manipulated by hospice but many of us feel that by telling our tragic stories, it may warn others to question everything and perhaps save their loved ones. We wish someone would have told us about the reality of hospice before our loved ones became a victim, a statistic, another person murdered for the sake of money.
