TS Radio: USDA: Results of Black Farmers Demonstration

On Thursdays March 30, 2023, we are going to talk about the Black farmer demonstration in front of the Biden White House, on March 1, 2023. We will also talk about why this demonstration was needed and the expectations as a result of this demonstration. We will also talk about the meeting held in Senator Cory Booker's office with Senator Elizabeth Warren on Capitol Hill where the Senators and Farmers spoke face to face with farmers.
Congressman Bobby Scott from Virginia spoke to the farmers at a dinner reception the night before and sent a letter of support.
Black farmers will get a chance to talk about the absence of Black leadership and the failed coverage by the main stream press of the demonstration.
They will also share their thoughts about the racism, discrimination, and the lack of systemic/cultural changes at the US Department of Agriculture by Secretary Tom Vilsack and other administrations....both Republican and Democratic parties.
