As one sham bill after another appears supposedly aimed at stopping the human trafficking for profit thru DCF and Adult Guardianship programs, all we see is the creation of more beauracracies with funding including grants meant to do nothing more than keep the system running smoothly without interference. Nothing in any of the bills addresses the criminal aspect of the predatory guardian business, nor does it address any of the known violations that occur everyday in probate tribunals.
Florida SB 1010 as passed in November after tanking in committee in April, claiming it was effective retroactively on July 1.2021. Nearly 1000 lines of undecipherable gibberish supposedly used to allow for supported decision making to avoid professional predatory guardians and corrupt probate tribunals. The devil is in the details and he's obviously having a good time! Doesn't this make SB1010 an ex post facto law= UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
