Join Marti & Coz this evening as we cover the hazards of advocacy that manifest almost on a daily basis.

But first! Becky Olvera Schultz joins us. Becky is one of those rare “go to” advocates when caught in the predatory business of guardianship. Becky will speak about her recent coverage on CNBC regarding her father and his capture in the Nevada guardianship system, from which she was able to finally free him.

Next will be former group advocates who extricated themselves from their groups after the appearance of individuals claiming to be more than what the are and insisting that they are now the leader. Inserting themselves into the activist group, these people steadily expanded their supposed credentials, made spurious claims about what they had accomplished and eventually derailed any meaningful activity. It leaves one wondering if in fact, this is their true purpose.
