TS Radio Network: Whistleblowers! The USDA Hour 8/31/20
Whistleblowers is brought to you in coordination with Marcel Reid and the Annual Whistleblowers Summit.
The USDA coalition of Minority Employees reached out to the Biden campaign for support and a prospective plan for cleaning up the USDA.
Things did not improve after the Clinton administration.....only worsened under following administrations. The discrimination against Blacks and other minority farmers was unrelenting. Sexism was rampant and both issues scar the agency today. Nothing has changed.
Join Lawrence Lucas as he hosts Waymon Hinson , a long time activist in the battle Black farmers have faced under the mismanagement of the USDA.
Joining Lawrence and Mr Henson, will be Michael Stovall of Alabama, Co-Founder and Leader of the Independent Black Farmers Association, who has been instrumental in bringing attention to the institutional failures of the USDA and DOJ. Mr Stovall will talk about the continuing neglect and worsening of agency failures within the USDA that have worsened over the years under many administrations, including the current administration.
