ABOUT THIS MESSAGE:
When it comes to the uncomfortable topic of who goes to heaven and who goes to hell, it is natural to want to avoid the issue. We’ll often distract ourselves with questions like “How old will we be when we get to heaven?” Jesus brushes all such questions aside and instead answers the question we should be asking: “How might I be saved?” Jesus explains there is only one way: through the very narrow door. We do not go to heaven because of some superficial familiarity we have with him or how long we’ve been in the church. Many who pursue heaven that way will be left out. But Jesus opens the door as he gives us faith to trust in him, to see that the door is open to all through the Word, and to make every effort to enter through Christ.
