ABOUT THIS MESSAGE:
Today we celebrate the enthronement of Jesus, our Savior, our brother. While this day marks the completion of Jesus’ earthly mission, it does not signify the end of his work. He has now commissioned his church (us!) to be witnesses of his resurrection to the world. Our comfort and confidence in doing so comes from the fact that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to him. We are sent on his mission knowing that he will employ his limitless power and authority for the church (for us!). So we rejoice, and we eagerly await his return, and get busy knowing he lives to rule all things for the church.
