ABOUT THIS MESSAGE: 
Before the disciples understood everything, before they felt ready, Jesus calls them into a relationship with himself. The reason is simple. A disciple is not defined by how much they know or how much they are able to prove themselves. A disciple, rather, is defined by who they follow and learn from. This morning in God’s Word we hear Jesus make a gospel call to believers to follow him so he can train them to share the gospel. His Word changes us, too, and trains us to send us on mission for him. The gospel call always gives what it commands – trust in the Savior we follow.
