But I feel like it’s the same way in life. Whether it’s a dream we’re chasing, or a goal we’ve set, we all have marks that we want to hit. Those marks guide us to where we need to be. That’s what this show is all about. I’m sitting down with incredible creative people to talk about their journeys—what hitting their mark looks like.

On this week’s episode of Hitting Your Mark, I sat down with playwright and storyteller Chef Beanz for a powerful conversation titled “Creating with Intention.”
Beanz shared how he once worked just to survive — doing what made sense on paper and what made his parents proud, but not what made him fulfilled. It wasn’t until he discovered his passion for storytelling that everything changed.
His journey hasn’t been easy. He’s faced setbacks, including a season of living out of his car. But through it all, God kept sending reminders that he was still on the right path.
Now, his stage play Transparency has traveled across multiple states and continues to open doors — not just for him, but for others too. In this episode, we talk about alignment, intention, creativity, and what it really means to walk in your purpose.
