She’s Lying to the Public
We all deserve the freedom to speak our truths and share our experiences without fear of judgment. In creating this platform, my hope is to offer both myself and others a safe and supportive space to tell our stories.
It has taken me years to find the strength to talk openly about my past. Speaking out is never easy—especially when done alone. Sometimes, what we need most is simply someone to talk to. Someone who listens, understands, and helps us feel seen.
“She’s Lying to the Public”—a name inspired by a comment left after I shared my story—is a place of healing and connection. It’s a space where we can come together, share our lived experiences, and realize how deeply connected we truly are. We are far more alike than we often believe.
This platform is about more than storytelling—it’s about healing. It’s a place to honor both the pain and beauty of growth, and to remind each other that our pasts do not define our futures.

Episode 2: Lenore - "Surviving the System: CPS, Child Trafficking, and Hector Garza Treatment Center"
Today, I’m joined by my friend Lenore, who courageously shares their story of growing up in the system. From surviving the notorious Hector Garza Treatment Center to exposing the darker side of CPS as a hub for child trafficking and exploitation, Lenore’s powerful testimony sheds light on a reality many are unaware of. Through their heroic journey, Lenore opens up about their personal experience—one of survival, resilience, and the fight for justice.
ABOUT LENORE:
Lenore Autumn is a nonbinary 26 year old survivor of the troubled teen industry, advocating for other survivors and current victims of the system that abuses and trafficks vulnerable children in CPS and juvenile programs across the country.
Lenore is a fierce defender of justice for survivors, a music lover, a creative and proud member of the goth/alternative community, hoping to create spaces in person and online for survivors of all kinds to come together and be there for each other, spread awareness and find understanding and resources for the most vulnerable among us.
The fight isn't over for them until all trafficking is ended.
