Welcome to the First Episode of Pivot of Ages.

 My name is Bruce

Isaiah 9:6 we are going to look at how it is the hinge point of time, creation.

Isa 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

This verse gives us who would come and all his great attributes.  We will explore his roots and see how all the government rests on him.

If you are called an Everlasting Father, can you have an end?  No.  In our mind there is an end, all the governments of the world from Babylon to nation today had and will have an end.  My parents are both gone.  This everlasting Father gives a picture of one outside of time, but one giving time.  As the father is the beginning of the family, so the father is the beginning of creation.

We will be able to explore the days of creation and how they correspond to an age.

Gen 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Gen 1:3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Gen 1:4  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. Gen 1:5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Gen 1:6  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

Gen 1:7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

Gen 1:8  And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Gen 1:9  And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Gen 1:10  And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. Gen 1:11  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen 1:12  And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:13  And the evening and the morning were the third day.

Gen 1:14  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: Gen 1:15  And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen 1:16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Gen 1:17  And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

Gen 1:18  And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:19  And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Gen 1:20  And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Gen 1:21  And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:22  And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. Gen 1:22  And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Gen 1:23  And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Gen 1:24  And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

Gen 1:25  And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Gen 1:27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Gen 1:31  And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Gen 2:1  Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Gen 2:2  And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

The hinge point for mankind and the Jewish nation is at a critical point today.  As ages are made of years. These years in the Jewish mind are cycles, seven days, seven years, seven cycles of seven years then Jubilee.    Creation was seven days and the Bible says.

2Pe 3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

2Pe 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

One day as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.  This picture show how God is outside of time, but it gives insight on a time frame.  We will explore that time frame and look at the completion time.  The Bible says on the seventh day God rested.  God labored for six days in creation.  These six days can connect to six thousand years by what we find in Peter.  Interesting.

Rev 20:1  And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

Rev 20:2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Rev 20:3  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Here we find in Revelation a time where Satan is chained in the bottomless pit for a thousand years.  As God rested on the seventh day, this gives a picture of what is called the millennial reign of Jesus on earth for a thousand years.  As Satan will not be on the earth for a thousand years man will have peace from his temptations.

So much to think about in creation.  The First week all was completed but time would change at the fall of Adam and Eve, death came.  There would be six thousand years of labor where God would lead people to his redemption.

The Bible gives some many pictures to see, to study, to know.  It will be a step by step look at time and the fulfillment that Jesus would give to his creation.  Isaiah gives a picture, the word of that.

Isa 28:10  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Isa 28:11  For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

Isa 28:12  To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

As a child learns it is each step each year to bring that child to adulthood, it is a process.  It is the same with the Lord Jesus.  He would deliver in different times of his word and bring all mankind to a place of completion.

I invite you to come and look at the hinge point in Isaiah 9:6
