God's Government
A new look at Isaiah 9:6 focusing on the hinge point of God's government. The generations of the past and the Last generation. Where are we?
God's Government
Seventh Day of Creation, the 7000th year
We will explore the seventh day of creation to find:
- War leading to the seventh day
- Deliverance of God's people
- Life without Satan and his angles
- The difference in the world due to the fulfilling rest of Jesus
- The end of this world
Welcome to the 8th episode of the Pivot of Ages. We will explore the 7th and final day of creation.
My name is Bruce
Isaiah 9:6 is the pivot point of time, creation, and a generational time. We have been looking at how he is the Everlasting Father of all creation, the Mighty God in all his works and word, that how as the son he would be the Prince of Peace to all of us by the final sacrifice of the law. In the 5th and 6th day we see how Jesus gave Peace inside of mankind, being our wonderful, counsellor leading us in truth and giving us a sure foundation.
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
The seventh day was rest as the word says:
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
God rested on the seventh day. Does God, Jesus, need to rest? No. God is a spirit, energy, power, direction, and truth, he does not rest.
Psa 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Elijah mocked the followers of Baal.
1Ki 18:27 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.
Ok, so why does it say he rested?
At the end of creation there was no death at all, sin was not in Adam and Eve. The Lord would come down and visit Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and commune with them. Satan had no influence in the garden, so Jesus did not have to work, as to say, because Adam and Eve were perfect, no redemption needed.
Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
After sin entered the world because of listening to the voice of destruction, Satan, Jesus worked to redeem mankind from that sin, the sacrifice of the lamb made. We talked about in the earlier episodes. I don’t know how long Adam and Eve were in the garden before they listened to death, Satan. It could have been thousands of years, there was no death or age even thought about, there was timelessness. Adam and Eve were perfect, eternal, but sin changed that on earth. Time is only needed if there is an end. Something wears out or dies but if nothing wears out or dies then who cares about time. At work you always look forward to the days of rest the time you are free from the boss or labor.
The seventh day in creation is a place where we can see that Jesus is the rest, Prince of Peace. There can be rest in the world, which were given in the 5th and 6th day seen in creation. As we have explored the word of God, and it shows that a day can mean 1000 years and the seven days of creation show us the 7000 years given to this world. After the 6000th year the last day of rest will start.
The last generation of the children of Israel will bring us to ending of the 6000th years. The very last three and a half years are called the great tribulation. After the great tribulation the millennial reign of Jesus will occur. So we as a people must be in Jesus and be a new creature.
2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The Bible tells us of a great battle, and that battle will destroy the army of Satan, the anti-Christ.
Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
There is a picture of what happens to those who war.
Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
We have to end the 6000th year to go into the last 1000 years, the seventh day. Hang on please.
Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
There we are, the last 1000 years. The prophets tells us.
Isa 11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Wolf and lamb together. How about a child leading the wild beasts, any of the wild beast not just the trained ones. See the last 1000 years of this world will be without the presences of the tormentor, Satan and the demons. Satan’s lies brought in death and war, killing and fighting, so why should there be surprised when he is taken out of this world. God, Jesus, walk with mankind in the garden of Eden, there was rest on the seventh day, it will be the same in the last 1000 years of this world. Rest!!!
Then at the end of the 1000 years Satan will be released in the world, to allow a choice again, is it better to have rest or destruction? Let’s choose rest.
Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
At this time there will a time of judgement and then a new heaven and earth.
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
We see a dissolving away of the earth and heaven in this verse. This is the end of the 7000 years.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
A final judgement against all that wanted death and destruction. I don’t know anyone that really wants this, we might say it but when we get hurt, we think differently. Jesus came in the middle of creation, the fourth day to have a new life, we can be changed before this time.
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
At the end of the 6000th year this will occur, the first resurrection, the bride going to be with Jesus Messiah. We all can leave to a place of peace and rest, and today we can have that same rest given to the church on the day of Penticost, the start of the church.
Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
The men and women of God anchor themselves in hope, peace, strength, encouragement in the true foundation that the Mighty God, Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace gave, Jesus Messiah was all in all.
Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Eph 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
The seventh day of creation, rest, and it was given by the sacrifice that God made for us which was the last sacrifice of the law. The days of creation gives us an understanding of this life and the time given to this life, this just starts the foundation to be explored in greater depth.
Thank you for listening and I invite you to more of the point of ages in Isaiah 9:6
