The Mighty Philbert Podcast
Welcome to The Mighty Philbert — the channel where we dig deep, ask hard questions, and refuse to smile politely at bad theology. Whether you're crawling out of evangelicalism, recovering from purity culture, or just wondering why your Sunday school teacher thought dinosaurs rode the Ark, you're in the right place.
Hosted by a proud GenX survivor of church trauma and theological gaslighting, this channel serves up weekly doses of counter-apologetics, Christian deconstruction, and cultural commentary with a heavy side of sarcasm and '90s nostalgia. We’re talking real talk about religion, belief, and how to rebuild your worldview without all the baggage.
New episodes every week. Bring your questions, bring your doubts — and maybe your flannel.
Because sometimes faith needs a second opinion.

S03E05 Did You Quit a Company or a Dispatcher
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A recent trucking news story got me thinking about something every driver has experienced at one time or another: a breakdown in communication with dispatch.
This isn't about deciding who's right or wrong in a lawsuit. It's about asking the bigger question:
Could the situation have been avoided?
When should a driver go over a dispatcher's head? When should management get involved? How many opportunities should a company get before a driver decides it's time to move on?
Tonight we're talking about driver-dispatcher relationships, communication breakdowns, workplace conflict, and why sometimes good drivers leave good companies.
Most importantly, we're asking the question every trucker should consider before turning in the keys:
Have you exhausted every avenue?
Join the conversation and share your own stories from the road.
Keep the bugs off your glass, the bears off your ass, and always keep the shiny side up!
