The Rosie and Roula Show
170: Do Your Feet Look Like Your Face? Roula Thinks So!
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This episode starts with a simple question: what’s your favourite body part? Then it takes a sharp left turn into feet pics, OnlyFans jokes, and a surprisingly wholesome chat about learning to like the bits of ourselves we usually overlook.
Rosie admits she almost started selling feet pics to fund her van upgrades (don’t worry, she didn’t), and Roula shares a wild magazine article claiming your feet actually resemble your face. That sends us spiralling into an experiment, some foot-care confessions, and a chat about why self-love often starts with noticing the smallest things.
Topics covered:
- The weird connection between feet and faces (and how to test it)
- OnlyFans, privacy, and harmless curiosity
- Why it’s so hard to say what we actually like about ourselves
- Foot masks, scrubs, and calloused-feet pride
- How we attach meaning to random body parts
Do your feet really look like your face?

Roula (00:01)
I have a question for you, Rosie.
Rosie (00:04)
Yes.
Roula (00:05)
A fun one. Please make it fun. Okay?
Rosie (00:06)
Okay, I'll
try.
Roula (00:12)
What body part in you you like the most?
Rosie (00:19)
my god. Why does this have to be fun? I don't even know.
Actually, ⁓ I've got a story. I don't really know my answer to this question, I... It is, okay? So just let me get there. It's roundabout, but we're getting there. Have you heard, no, have you heard of the site called OnlyFans?
Roula (00:42)
Is this story related to the question? All right, great, shoot.
You've been so difficult.
Yeah, of course!
Rosie (00:59)
Yeah. Okay. So often,
okay. Just checking. I don't know. So OnlyFans. Okay. I was jo- Wow. Feisty today. I was talking to a friend and you know, I'm spending a lot of money on the van right now, fixing it. And I was like, man, I just, I just need to get more money in quickly. And we were joking about, well, maybe you can start selling feet picks, which some people do on OnlyFans.
Roula (01:04)
What an insult. No, I'm kidding.
Rosie (01:30)
And then we started talking about body parts. And my friend asked my least favorite and I said, my back, I don't really like my back. And then I said, funnily enough, I quite like my feet. And we were having a laugh because we were talking about feet pics. And I was like, I actually quite like my feet.
That's it. That's the story. That's it. There's no, there's nothing else to this story. did I do it? I didn't know. I didn't ⁓ sell feet pics. So I was like, well, who cares? No one knows who, who I am from my feet. ⁓ cause I'd be self-conscious if someone knew who I was.
Roula (01:56)
So okay. So you didn't make a decision on the fly.
Rosie (02:14)
Then I was like, okay, let's look at these websites and you actually have to provide your ID and like, I started getting worried about privacy. So that idea went out the window very, very quickly, but I discovered that actually I like my feet, even though it frustrates me that they're so big and it makes it difficult to get shoes. I like my feet. Do I like other people's feet? Not really. Do I want to touch your feet? No, not really. No. I like my feet. think I,
I quite like my eyes in the right lighting. very blue. What's your favourite body part?
Roula (02:49)
That's true. That's true.
I love my eyes. Okay, hold on. me... That's I don't like to wear glasses, eyeglasses, because I really love my eyes. And all my life, I knew that I have almond-shaped eyes, and they were different from anyone around me. I loved them. And I remember the first time...
Rosie (02:54)
Mmm
Mm.
Mmm.
Roula (03:19)
my husband saw my eyes because when I met my husband I used to put black makeup like there is lot
Rosie (03:25)
eyeliner.
Roula (03:25)
yes. So when I met him, I used to have no, eyeliner, even more black, like black shadow, like smoky, smoky eyes. And then I washed my face and he saw my eyes without makeup and he was like,
Your eyes!
Rosie (03:40)
Wow.
Roula (03:42)
That's it? Now he's in love with me!
Yeah, I like my eyes. So this is this is my favorite thing ever and my myself. Thank you. I want to go back to the feet.
Rosie (03:52)
I think you've got beautiful eyes. I like that you also didn't have to think about it.
⁓ God, yeah, okay. My camera's gone very funny, but that's okay. You can hear me.
Roula (04:06)
You look like you're an only fan and you don't want anyone to recognize you.
Rosie (04:12)
Alright, come on, what's the question about the feet?
Roula (04:14)
The
feet. There was this article in magazine and it was a picture of a face and a picture of the back of the feet of that person. And the research in this article was to show that the back of your feet, they are similar to the shape of your face.
Rosie (04:20)
Yeah.
What? So when you say back of feet, do you mean the sole, the sole of your foot? Is that what? Yeah. Okay.
Roula (04:38)
Yeah, the back of your feet. The soul, yeah, yeah, yes.
So there's this day in this article, they put the pictures comparing pictures, picture of their face and picture of their soul, the back of their feet. And I think when I was reading it and looking, I was like, they're so right. I haven't tested it by myself with with my pictures, but it's really
Rosie (04:47)
What?
Roula (05:07)
The feet looked so much like the shape of the head of the person owning them. So I want to tell my listeners and I want to tell you, ask you. So why, if you're listening to this episode, take a portrait photo of your face and a portrait photo of the back of your foot. Both of them like this.
Rosie (05:13)
I am not convinced.
Okay.
You know what I'm going to do and you are going to be disgusted.
Yes. Side by side. Okay. But do know what I'm going to do right now, Rula?
Roula (05:32)
And then see
if you're gonna show me the back of your foot.
Rosie (05:37)
Yeah, I'm going to show you my fort.
Yes. And guess what? It's really dirty because I was walking around barefoot. So maybe it'll look like my face. You don't want to see it. Okay, fine. Everybody else side by side photo comparison of your face and the sole of your fort. Feel free to send them in.
Roula (05:43)
Don't, don't, spare me, spare me this, don't.
Yeah.
yeah!
Rosie (06:00)
I call
bullshit on this. This just sounds ridiculous, but I will try off camera because clearly Rula is scared of feet.
Roula (06:08)
I will send you mine and you send me yours.
but please do wash your feet or you have two options. Either you wash your feet or you put black things on your face like a camouflage.
Rosie (06:21)
God. Now you know what I bought the other day? I bought a foot mask because
my feet are getting very calloused. They get very tough when you walk barefoot a lot. So I bought a foot mask that you put on and it soaks into your feet and I also bought a foot scrub so I'll make sure I do those before I send you any photos.
Roula (06:38)
Yes.
If you walk a lot on a barefoot and you do activities barefoot, this means your feet are getting stronger. They look awful and not really very aesthetic, but they are strength for your to your feet. Anyway, I'm looking forward to see a picture of your face and your foot together side by side, not your face, your foot together like this.
Rosie (06:49)
Mmm
Yeah.
This is true.
This is weird. This feels quite intimate,
seeing pictures of each other's feet.
Roula (07:13)
Well, I mean, it's OK. It's OK. Don't worry about that. They're just like looking at your eyes. What's wrong with that? You know, we make stories of intimacy of things. All right, so that that's it for today.
Rosie (07:23)
Why not?
Yeah? Okay. No. All right. Deal.
Right. Your feet looks like your face. Okay. I don't think that's where the episode started, but that's all right.
Roula (07:33)
Send us the pictures, please.
Rosie (07:40)
You
