Victor Spiritual Teachings Chapter three The Spiritual Side of Man When a person begins to awaken to awareness of themselves and their surrounding, fear is a part of life in some form. Intense inner fear creates suffering and distress, whether mental or physical. At this point, the person is alternately loving and fearful. This is an inner struggle that takes place in most people. Anxiety is often not far away, and it has a negative impact on many people, reducing their vitality and will. Other individuals also affect the well being of a person in a direct or indirect way. Many people depend on others' opinions and their lives and actions, thereby letting others control it. Many are angry and hateful toward their neighbour for the wrongdoings of the past. Also many people find it difficult to come to terms with their past and their own misdeeds, and sincerely wish too able to retract some of their words and action toward others. The past causes shame and or sadness for many, while the future often causes anxiety and fear. It can be difficult to live in the moment where the mind is constantly moving in the past and or future. Many people are filled with worry and fear about their livelihood and health. Fear appears to people in a different ways, and it is a great deceiver that can deceive people repeatedly and cause them a great suffering. The origin of the ego is among other things fear, and it makes sure that the individual lives in fear in some form, because the fear then creates thoughts that in turn feed the ego. This cycle continues until the individual awakens to a consciousness and grabs the reins to stop it. Fear manifests itself in varied ways to each person, whether it is anxiety, arrogance, stubbornness, greed, impatience or jealousy. Fear is a natural part of man and a part of his defense system, protecting him from dangers and dilemmas that comes his way. But great and constant fear is an unwanted companion that creates suffering and distress. People's lives are diverse and what everyone struggles with in their lives varies, so the deception above is not universal, but is a list of what could be plugging each and every one. As the soul's number of lives increases, the soul is more strongly expressed in the behavior and conduct of the individual as well as in his thoughts. Therefore love and compassion increases as the number of lives increases, and spiritual development increases as well, and with it consciousness. The spiritual side of man is made up of the mind, ego and soul. In the mind are the thoughts and personality that vary from life to life. It is composed for each life so that the soul can experience what it has decided to go through. The ego makes it possible for the soul to live in a body here on earth and experience itself as a distinct individual. The ego is the opposite of the soul, and its origin is deception, fear and division. It is a part of man's defense system and protects him from danger and trouble, but the main task of the ego is to keep the soul away from God's energy and to keep the man in fear and divided from others. All earthly things are temporary experiences, so that the soul can experience, learn and develop upwards and rise its consciousness towards the energy of God steadily. For young souls it is the interplay of the mind and the ego that is dominant, and the manners, thoughts and actions of the man are characteristic by it, with fear as the dominant driven force in every manifestation. When the soul is reaching middle age, it begins to manifest itself more and the mind and the soul connect, and the man's behavior then becomes more loving. Empathy increases as does cooperation. During this age of the soul, the soul and the ego take turns controlling the individual life so that the fear and love alternate in his behavior. Then the soul becomes more dominant as the soul grows older, and for old soul it is the interaction of the soul and mind that is almost completely in charge. However, the ego and the fear are never far away and can appear from time to time and lead the person into fear and anxiety, and thus into distress and suffering. As mentioned before, this process is a development of the soul, take many lives and is counted in centuries. Like the life of man from infant to an old person where the person matures and grows year by year, the soul develops from life to life in the same way. A person who is loving and helpful to his neighbour and has learned to love him unconditionally is an example of an old and mature soul. The young soul, on the other hand, might think My interests come first and last and as long as I am doing well I don't care about my fellow man. A person who is gained and understand of this process of the soul is quick to identify the age of the soul of the person in question by their behavior, words and actions. The origin of the God's energy is the truth of all that is, the love of all that is, and the unity of all that is. The highest goal of the soul here on earth is to connect and get in tune with the God energy. And when consciousness rises to increase love, the soul gets closer to this goal steadily. Spiritual awakening and opening is a process in which the ego and thus illusion, fear and division are pushed aside completely and the soul and the mind merge within the person. Then this interaction between soul and ego comes to an end with the mind and the soul finally take over. This is an assured is the transformation that takes place when we talk about spiritual awakening and opening. It also has a great effect on the person's body as well as bodily functions as the frequency of the body increases along with the energy. Spiritual awakening and opening is a shocking process, whether it is a mental or physical one, and at the same time it's a very exciting and interesting. The individual will experience their deepest sorrows and the greatest anger along with the greatest love they have ever experienced in their heart. It take a lot of patience, strength and determination to get all the way through this process, and many people give up halfway and postpone the journey indefinitely. This process takes different amounts of time for each person, ranging from years to many lifetimes. But one thing is for certain everyone will make it through the spiritual awakening and opening in the end. It is the journey of all souls to complete their earthly lives by going through this process, thereby completing the centuries long process of the soul here on earth. A person who has gone through this process and faced and overcome the challenges that come along the way can then help others and guide those who follow, thus become a spiritual guide. He can share his experiences from his spiritual awakening and opening and become the beacon that anyone who is ready to begin his journey will need. Such instruction is only about the awakened person and his connection to the God's energy, to help him to free his soul from the ego and the echoic mind, to free the person from the fear that comes with the ego and from the suffering and discomfort that it creates for each and everyone. He who completes his process has thereby complete his earthly life and the school of the earthly life for the soul. It can be said that the spiritual awakening is the final task of that school, and this is therefore the highest goal of every soul living here on earth.
