But she continues to sometimes when she's putting her shoes on or something, and Corbin

But, um, I would say it would've been pretty emotional for to come so.

the, the only time I, Amy came in my office before the sale and she said, what are you gonna talk about? She always helps me get all my stuff together in my notes. Um, but then she got to the end, she's like, what are you gonna say about your dad? And man, I have, it hadn't really bothered me a whole lot because I know that it was. For the best, but man, when she said that, I, I couldn't even sit at my desk. I never said a word, and I mean, I was just getting teared up and choked up, and it, it wasn't, it wasn't gonna be an easy thing, so I didn't say a lot because I wasn't sure I, what I could say, you know, uh, without getting just a big mess. So, uh, it all worked out okay.

I told him he could take our truck if he needed it. And I told him he could stay at the house, but he kept his hotel for another day or two. And, um, he went and visited, he went and visited some folks and, uh, he was riding with, uh. Jeremy Ha and them. he just, wherever they went, he went. But that poor guy, he should win. He should win the hoodie because, uh, he did take a cool picture.

Well, I mean, Sunday and Monday, Sunday mainly. Uh, but some people will come Monday, Tuesday. I mean, there's still cows here and they come whenever they, they can, but most people are like, you know, is it okay if I leave it until Wednesday and bring a check Wednesday and pick her? I, these sales are all interesting and I think as we get, I, I dreaded'em. We did an episode on this, like, how do you make a sale less miserable or not so miserable, or, I can't remember even how we talked about it, or maybe it was even a canned episode, and I'm still in the phase where I'm probably not matured enough in the sale setting. We've had 19 of them. I think almost, maybe we've had 20, I don't remember. But I still get so nervous. I'm still so tied up and worried, and the only way that I try to combat that is to do more work early. And I remember asking Vince, how do you feel about the sale? And you are having so much interest. And I don't know, I just, I admire what you've done because only thing that you do the same as me or the same as Corbin, is you, do you. there's a little different mix of genetics. There's a little different flavor of what you're doing, and are the kind of programs, if you're listening. not that anyone needs to worry about attracting me, but those are the catalogs I open up and I do pour through. you have everything the same as somebody else that was a sale before or whatever, I, I'm sorry, I just don't have the bandwidth, but I will take the time on these unique programs and really try to figure out what's working for these people, what's not. I just have an appreciation for people who wanna put their own spin on something, and I think you've done there. Um, Tennessee, Vince is something special and

And to your point, and to your point Joe, he's not just being different for the sake of being different. I mean, I mean there's intentionality and, and it shows. I mean, it really does. Um, I'd say the greatest compliment somebody can have is, is, is their peers accepting their cattle. And I'd say just from, from the looks of it and from, from everything I heard, it was just a great. Successful day and that everything was top notch from the hospitality to the meal, to the sale itself. Everything just went really well.

I call it that, uh, if you're driving a four-wheeler and you can't help but get manure on you somehow, know, it's like it flings up and it gets on you and it gets everywhere and it's inside the fender wells of the four-wheeler. That is the season we're in right now. It's like you can almost, almost burns my eyes how pungent that manure is because it's so strong and you, the cattle, you can see them change every single day. I mean. so excited every day that I don't wanna waste any daylight. I, I go out early and I go through cows and I go out. We're gonna get done filming this podcast. If we have any daylight left, I'm gonna go out and check another set of cows, even if they're just kind of some dink cows, because they're so fun to look at this time of year.
