Introduction to Timing Techniques in Astrology

Unknown

Within our hardest and lowest moments lies the secret of our greatest potential, our superpowers, and our innate creative gifts. We are so much more powerful, magical, and beautiful than we think. We are here to evolve our consciousness and to transform where we are not free. Welcome to the podcast, A Turned-On Life. I am your host, Karen Johnson. Hey guys, welcome back to the podcast. Today I am excited to share with you a technique, a timing technique in astrology that I kind of want to beta test. And so this is, this podcast today is going to be a little bit of an intro to about what that looks like and then what's to come. And I'm hoping that you'll be interested in wanting to join me in this beta test. I've been studying astrology for over 12 years now at this point, and there's a lot of different timing techniques that astrologers use for various things, prediction, seeing what's to come, understanding energy and flow and rhythm, and really being able to harness and take advantage of the opportunities that are arising in the moment. And from what I've gathered over the years of listening to lots of different astrologers myself, just to get a Um, there's, there's a lot of variety and specialty that does exist within the field. And even though I've been playing around with a lot of different techniques, there are some that I found that just some particular approaches that I found that aren't very effective for me or I, or haven't worked particularly well. Um, so I've, I'm kind of always on the lookout for for and playing with, um, playing with different techniques. And this, this is not a unique thing. I think there are people will find different astrologers will find their kind of go-to strategies and techniques, timing techniques, uh, that work and use those. And, and, uh, and that's all good. Um, and So the, what I'm excited to share today is something I've kind of been loosely playing with for the last couple of years because I've been so, so keen on trying to better understand my rhythm and flow on an annual basis. Um, I know to some degree, I mean, Time is an illusion. The construct of time really is an illusion. There's the ideas of multiple timelines, that we are creating our reality in every given moment, that every decision that we make could be working towards one timeline or potential outcome or another. And so time is a really interesting thing to work with, and we still have these practical tools like calendars, that we work with to be able to coordinate, plan, organize, and work with at the 3D level. And so the structure of time and our perception of time and understanding flow and energy at a very individual level is something that It's a reason why I love astrology so much because it's an amazing tool and technique that we can use and harness. So what I've been playing around with the last couple of years is if you've ever seen a natal chart, there are 12 houses like slices of pizza slices. Or if you were to take a cake and make it into 12 slices, there are 12 houses and each of the houses are, um, cover a particular practical area of life. Um, so for example, the first house is the house of self and the seventh house, which is opposite. The first is the house of relationship. The fourth and the 10th house are also form of polarity. And the fourth house is the house of home and family. And the 10th house is the house of career and public reputation. And there are, I mean, these are super, super surface level at this point. There are many more details and nuance and depth that we could get into about each of the houses. But just as I'm introducing this, I'm going to keep it really simple. Okay. And we can dive into more detail later. So a couple years ago, I was noticing that there was a time, kind of a consistent time of year, that I was noticing a pattern within myself. And I thought it was linked to, it seemed to be linked to the path of the sun, right? through the 12 houses of my natal chart. And so sometime after, I decided to run an experiment. And what I did is I figured out, and the reason why I'm using the sun is because the lights in astrology, which are the sun and the moon, they form a basic rhythm and pattern that is really useful for utilizing. So if we're using the lunar cycle and playing with new moon, first quarter moon, full moon, last quarter moon, and then back to the new moon, we can use that basic structure and apply it to other astrological transits And that can be really helpful. So in this case, what I'm doing is I'm taking the path of the sun over one year and figuring out the day of the month or the day in the year that the sun is moving into each of my 12 houses. And the sun is really important because the sun is a light. It's shining awareness on that particular area of life. Awareness is the same as consciousness. To be aware of that particular area and what's coming up for us during that time can be really empowering, especially if we're looking at patterns and noticing that Uh, for example, I mean, one thing I'm going to, I'm going to share is that in this experiment, I've noticed that like, if we're talking about relationship, I've looked at my, my own personal cycle of the sun going through each of the 12 house, 12 houses. And then just recently we mapped this out for my husband as well to see what his annual rhythm looks like. And what's been super fascinating is that we've noticed that there are certain times of years, like if we're talking about relationship, you know, have you noticed a particular time of year where relationship challenge has come up repeatedly? Why is that? Is there something to that? in which there's a pattern. And if there's a pattern to it, is there more that we can learn about it so that instead of going into an annual rhythm where we're noticing this trend of running into relational challenge, if we can approach that oncoming month with more awareness and a little bit more intentional planning and how we allocate time, I think it's possible that what has once been a challenge doesn't need to be a challenge ongoing. And so let me be more specific about this. Where do I want to start? One thing I want to share that I think is it's really interesting is that, uh, I, there's these patterns that we can see in transits, which is another timing technique, um, where we have our natal chart and our natal chart is the energy and the blueprint that we come in with. And then the planetary bodies are always in motion. And so as we, the planets continue to move around the, or orbit the sun at their certain periods of time where our natal chart energy will get activated by these orbiting planets. And we can see how long something will last for. We can see what area of life is being activated. We can see what the opportunities are for growth and what karma we're, we're working on in that activation. So, uh, for, For myself, the last couple of weeks have been really, really challenging. I realized that I was feeling a lot of intensity in my body and really feeling burned out, and I had this inner... I feel like my body was almost yelling at me to create some spaciousness because... For me, the idea of nine to five work reality has always been a challenge. And there's a couple of reasons for that that I'm aware of. But where was I going with that? Nine to five. I'm curious to know how many people this actually works for. Because if you think about a seasonal cycle or a lunar cycle. Nature follows patterns of growth and decay. And in that pattern, there's a period of rest that has to happen before spring. And so if we are living in a reality Where we're on all the time. And I challenged that, that like a two day weekend is really enough to reset, but my body has been in such conflict with this type of pattern. And when I was still in school. through college, that time period was a little easier to navigate because there were built in periods of downtime. And I remember getting closer to graduating college and just feeling like the cringe in my body at knowing, not really having a lot of precedent for an entrepreneurial journey at that time and just needing to really grow in a lot of ways and mature in a lot of ways before even embarking on something like that. And so it didn't seem in my reality that going off on my own and doing my own thing was really available to me at the time based on the resources and self-awareness I had at that time. And so going into a reality of having periods of rest and abilities to reset and go play and take breaks, like legit breaks, like, you know, a month here, a couple months there, a few weeks in between quarters, depending on what the college system was, you know, that felt much better to my nervous system than constant on all the time. And, um, yeah, and I've been in that, you know, nine to five vibe with, with a little bit of exception. Cause I have broken out of that for a period of time. and not really prepared for it. So I didn't wasn't able to make much of it at the time. But it's not that whole pattern is not aligned to nature. It doesn't feel good in my body. And I and I don't know how this is for. And I'd be curious to know how this is for from a masculine perspective, but from a feminine perspective, which there's much more attunement to the lunar cycle and the menstrual cycle associated with that and the feelings and emotions. I'm imagining that there's more sensitivity from a more feminine perspective, with this reality. The other thing I want to throw in there too, is there is some of you might know or be aware of human design. And human design incorporates a few wisdom traditions, the I Ching, astrology, the Kabbalah, and I believe the gene keys. And I'm starting to explore that system as well because I found that there are compliments and some nuance that adds a lot of value in addition to the astrology. And so one thing that I found out there are pretty basic human design and there's ways to go look up a free chart online and you can find this out for yourself, but there's a couple of different types in human design. There are projectors, generators, manifesting generators, manifestors, and reflectors. And each of these different types have different energetic patterns where, just to more rest and reset time or more downtime to be able to function at our best. And much of the world is designed such that it's, it's cared more to generators, which the generators are a large percentage of the population. I don't exactly remember what it is in human design. And in contrast, uh, projectors of which. I'm a projector, uh, projectors make up about 20% of the population. So, and what this means is that, um, you don't, if you're a projector, you don't have a consistent access to do energy in the way that a generator or a manifesting generator would. And so, um, Our systems of work and the practice of professional life is set up to cater to a part of the population for whom that can actually work. Although I'm curious to know if that doesn't work well for some generators and manifesting generators. But for a projector, projectors are... needing downtime, they don't operate in the same way. And when I learned this about myself, it was so eye opening. Because It's like being in a reality that is not designed for you. And there's, there can be exhaustion that comes from it. One size truly does not fit all. And that's why I'm so passionate about astrology because the more we know about our own natal chart and our own, the energy that we come in with, which is totally unique, we can't apply the same principles of being and living to the entire population because it simply doesn't work. And it's insane. It's totally insane. To expect that systems of operation are going to work for everybody. And our access to our patterns of energy are unique and different for everybody. And so this is coming back. It's a little bit long-winded, a little bit of a tangent there. But I want to come back to a really simple technique. And that is tracking energy. The unique time of the year when the sun goes through each of our 12 houses, that's going to look different for everybody based on. the time of day that you were born. And the reason for that to tie it into what I was sharing about like understanding our annual rhythm and our patterns of energy, because the more that we can tap into our innate flow and recognize our own patterns, the better we are able to advocate for what we need, whether that is not everyone is designed to or needs to be or wants to be an entrepreneur. Um, however, is there a way that we can do work better in a more traditional setting that is more harmonious to your nervous system? That's more harmonious to what you notice as your annual, uh, rhythms, because there are periods of the year in which we all need more downtime. At least this is what I would like to test out in this, in this beta version of, um, of this technique. Um, is to get enough people to put some dates on the calendar and start reflecting on and noticing if there are truly patterns of awareness that come up for you certain times of year so that you are in the driver's seat of your own life and can advocate for what you need, whether that's, um, whether that's, it doesn't matter. I mean, if I'm kind of applying this more to like professional outlet, but this could also apply to how we relate to the people that we're in close relationship. How do we, um, how do we show up in our families? How do we relate to our friends and community? These are all areas of life that will be, um, we'll be more consciously aware of because of the solar energies shining on that particular area of life every single year. And there's a rhythm to it. And then once we have that basic rhythm down, then there's more nuance that we can get into. That's a Let's just say there's a consistent time of year where a particular month, maybe it's the second half of March and the first half of April, the sun is in your seventh house of marriage and partnership, or that could also be business partnership. If you're in a band, it could be members of a band, but it's your... It's your one-to-one relationships with other people. So that period, that, that month, that four weeks to a month out of the year, when the sun is in the seventh house, um, you might not have a natal planet in the seventh house, but maybe there is, maybe Jupiter is going through the seventh house and Jupiter is about expansion and opportunity and wanting to improve that particular area of life. So maybe, Um, once you get the kind of the annual rhythm down and you're like, oh yeah, I'm always, there's something that comes up for me where there's kind of like this kind of in the background. It's not necessarily like big, big and prominent, but there's like this just general awareness that the second half of March, early April, um, you have relationship in your consciousness, whether you're in one or not. And if you're not, and you're looking for one, then there might be, then that's something to focus on too. But then, um, you know, after, Putting these dates on the calendar and spending some time in a reflection on them and becoming aware of those patterns, then there's the ability to work. Even if you're not really well versed in astrology, this can be a really accessible and experiential way of working with the energy and becoming attuned to it so that you can make the most of those annual rhythms. So for coming back to that example, if... you're aware of that pattern in the spring when there is kind of more of awareness and consciousness on the area of life related to relationship or significant other. And then, um, Jupiter is transiting, spending a whole year transiting through that seventh house and Jupiter is in its own. Jupiter has its own rhythm. It has a 12 year cycle, so it'll spend, um, an entire year in that house. Well, maybe that particular month during that year that you have Jupiter going through there, there is like new people coming into your life that end up being significant and expansive for you because you're tapped in and open to that energy coming in. So that's just one example. For me, I'm in... I was kind of touching on this before. I'm in the midst of some challenging midlife transits. And depending on the year that you're born, at this point in time, big midlife transits are happening in our late 30s, early 40s. So I'm kind of in that zone, kind of towards the end of that. And in the midst of... A few weeks ago of a really challenging few weeks and things coming to my awareness and my consciousness that I wasn't making time for because I've been so go, go, go, and just barely keeping up with all the responsibilities on my plate and making efforts to reduce optional responsibilities to create more spaciousness. I experienced a pretty significant emotional crisis that came up for me. But I think what's really awesome and interesting is that even when we are in challenging moments, there can be such amazing insight that comes through in the challenge that is so eye-opening. And it was kind of towards the end of a really difficult week that I... I put a lot of this together with following the solar, the annual solar cycle, where there were these big ahas that came through. where not only have I personally have had 12 dates on the annual calendar to let me know when the sun is moving into the next house for me, and so I can be aware of the patterns that are coming up annually, which, as a little sidebar... My theory is that if we're tending appropriately to the areas of life that we have important focus on, meaning if you look at your natal chart, you might have a concentration of planetary energy in a few houses or it might be more spread out. There's a lot of different configurations. But the theory is that If we're tending to and honoring the areas of life that are important to us, then needs will get met, energy will go towards that area of life as an ongoing basis throughout the year, and we can avoid trip-ups to a degree or challenge to a degree. Um, but if you look at the 12 areas of life and this is going to come through, I think, um, I'm thinking sometime mid summer. I'm putting together this guide that is going to walk you through the, um, the meaning of the 12 houses and probably a little bit of background information on each of the 12 signs of the Zodiac and then give you, um, a custom print out of the dates, um, in which the sun is moving into each of your 12 houses so that you can consciously work with this knowledge and kind of play around with it and see what arises. That was the sidebar. I totally lost my train of thought. Thank goodness for editing, right? Though I try to keep that to a minimal because it's more natural. I totally forgot where I was going with that. That's fine. We can pick it back up. Anyhow, this... this guide that I'm going to put together and it's going to be at this point, it's going to be a free offer because I really want to get this into your hands and have people play around with it and tell me what you learn. Um, and especially if you are in, if you have a, if you're in a partnership with a significant other, I would love to provide this for both you and your partner so you can put it on a shared calendar and just 12 dates on the calendar and and set that calendar up. So it's popping up annually to remind you like, Oh, okay. I'm moving into a month where there's a focus on the third house. So there might be more awareness of writing, speaking, communication, sales, um, marketing. If you have a business, um, kind of like day, just day to day movement and rhythms, uh, could be something to do with more of a focus on learning. Um, yeah, I mean, there's again, a lot more depth that's going to come out with the guide, but, uh, put it on, put the reminder on annually so that that date in the calendar is popping up and then, you know, okay, there's a, there's the solar energy, more conscious energy, a light shining on this particular area of life for the next 30 ish days. And, um, if I remember what the sidebar is now, um, if we're, if we're tending to that and feeding that area of life and honoring that kind of more in a, in a, uh, an ongoing basis, then, then things are going to go more smoothly. And I think that when, uh, We aren't prioritizing an area of life, perhaps in which we have more energy concentrated to begin with. There's a lot more nuance to play around with. But if you have a house that has several planets in it, and yet you're not making that part of life a priority, or there's a part of the year that it's just really hard to do so, then you're not prioritizing and you're noticing that challenge tends to be arising around that particular area of life at the same time of year after year, then that means that there's a need for reprioritizing how time, money, energy is being allocated to that part of life. So, all right, real example. If your parents If you have the experience of moving into parenthood, I think for many couples, like that can be a challenging time because that shift from not being responsible to a little being, and then having this massive shift in responsibility and change in identity and all the things associated with that is a big, it's a big shift for a relationship. And so something that I have noticed for more than a handful of years, um, with my husband and I is that there is a time of year where we've experienced our biggest conflict and And in some cases, it's led us to seek out various forms of counsel and help or therapy to work through that conflict. And what was so mind-blowing that came up just recently is that I had... 12 days out of the year where I was blocking off this, uh, sun moving into particular area of my chart, but I hadn't mapped out my husband's. And so we were talking about this the other day and, um, I was describing to him, uh, a not, not relationship related, but a time of year where I am, I have my lowest, uh, lowest energy. And for me, that is when the sun is in my 12th house and the 12th house is the most spiritual house of the Zodiac. It represents kind of, um, a time in which we are needing more reclusiveness, more retreat, more quiet time, time to contemplate, It's a very inner focused, but we need space to process, um, the end of a cycle. So the first house is the beginning of a cycle. And then we go through, there's this kind of evolutionary journey, whether we're talking about the moon in 30 days, or we're talking about Pluto, which is a 250 year cycle. Every planet is going to go through this evolutionary cycle where it's going through, um, 12 areas of life. And so the first house. is the beginning. It's the, it's the, um, it's the house of your sense of self. And when we go through in that order, one through 12, 12 is the ending in a way. It's like a death in the way it's the, it's the, um, last, um, month before the first day of spring when, um, there's this emerging new life and this new charge forward, um, of, of energy and, and, and growth that's just starting to happen beneath the surface as, um, when winter wanes and spring is oncoming. And so that last, that 12th, um, that 12th month or the 12th house is related to this, the Zodiac sign of Pisces. And, um, this might be different in the sense that you could have your son sign in the 12th house and your experience of the sun going through the 12th house actually might be energizing, uh, and because it's shining a light on the part of life that you have come to focus on and grow in and become self actualized in. So there are, there's some nuance with this, but for myself that I've noticed that the 12th house is when I feel like I have the lowest access to energy. And if I go back and I look at past years, that time of year, um, it's, um, it's a strange perception because on one hand it, it, for me, it occurs in the springtime and the one hand there's, you know, more light, the days are getting longer, it's warm, it's feeling good outside the, um, you know, guard, it's the time of, you know, garden starting to really take root and, and grow. And I'm feeling super, super low because for me, that is the time of year when I'm needing to slow down. Um, And so I have done this before because I didn't know this about myself. It's taken several years to really recognize this pattern. But I have had the habit of setting myself up to be overloaded and overbooked and under-resourced during that time. And it's had some real negative consequences where I'm not nourishing myself enough. in the way that I need and the extra downtime that I need during that time. And then, and then it backfires. Um, and it, you know, it's had consequences that, um, have depleted my energy caused conflict in relationship and it's been really challenging. So I was sharing this with my husband and I was like, look, babe, when I'm in this month of the year, um, I feel like it's some degree of composting. There's a level of... And composting, I think that's debatable, but it was very relatable to him. I said, during this time of year, I feel like I need to quiet myself. I need more downtime. I need more alone time. I'm going through this phase of... Like there's a death process taking place. And before my spring starts in my own natal chart, which is irrelevant to the actual seasons, but it's in my own natal chart. Um, before I can, I, before I can really emerge into that new solar year, I have to create the space for what I was calling as composting. And then I asked him, I was like, what, you know, what do you like? If you look at your years, there are consistent time of year where you feel like you're composting. And he answered that so quick. And it was really fascinating because he's like, well, I, I, I tend to feel that way shortly after my birthday. And I was like, Oh, interesting. And because I knew, I mean, I know his chart really well too. So sure enough, I looked at his chart. I turned on the transits. I sped time up and I, and I went forward in time to see when does this, when does the sun enter his 12th house? Um, And he was born with the, uh, with his son sign kind of late in the 11th house, which sure enough, I think it was, it was less than a week after his birthday. The son enters his 12th house and he goes into this phase for himself where he knows he needs time to reset downtime, quiet time, um, time to be by himself to, um, process the solar year. So it's, it was such an eye opener. And I think why that it made this experience such an aha moment, because he intuitively felt that this was, that was a time of year for him that he felt that way, similar to me in the spring. And, um, And sure enough, looking it up, like confirmed astrologically that, that, that feeling for him gets activated shortly after his birthday. So this is where I think this is why I wanted to dive in with that simple example and then share, um, an experience between the two of us where we. have had our most significant challenge relationally. And that is, uh, like towards, uh, that's kind of tended to be towards the end of the year. And so for us, we happened, and this does, this does happen where a significant partner, um, not necessarily marriage or spouse, but this could be also another significant relationship, but oftentimes, um, We will attract people into our lives that have the opposite rising sign from us. So the rising sign is the sign that's on the cusp of your first house. And then the descendant is the sign that's on the cusp of the seventh house. And so that forms a polarity between self and other, and what's wild with our charts is that our. rising sign and ascendant, uh, sorry, rising and descendant signs are the exact opposite sign. So we form a polarity and they're within two degrees of each other, meaning, uh, my rising sign is 21 degrees of one sign. And then the opposite sign, his, um, rising sign is 23 degrees of the opposite signs. They're almost exactly opposite. So, um, this is really interesting because for us, that means that, um, not the whole year, but a good majority of the year, we are experiencing, uh, a focus on the exact opposite area of life at most times. So if, if the son is going through his first house, it's going through which house of self, then in most my chart it's going through my seventh house which is the house of marriage and partnership and vice versa another time of year six months from then it's it's the reverse where when the sun is going through his seventh it's going through my first so this is going to put an emphasis on relationship specifically because the solar energy consciousness light is on those areas of life. For us, it just happens to be at the exact opposite time of year, which can bring up the polarity of that house. Um, and there's a couple of things that can result from that. One is you recognize that the polarity, the first and the seventh house are two sides of the same coin. So really the polarity the goal is to be able to balance, harmonize, and integrate those two polarity points. Um, you know, the other is that there's just, you have, there's conflict because there's a need to integrate that balancing and harmonization of the two polarizing energies. Uh, so what's so, so wild is that a particular time of year where we've been challenged numerous years Years in a row, not in a row, not always in a row, but like consistently the biggest challenge has been when, uh, the first and seventh houses have been active in our charts and. And it's a challenging time of year for so many reasons, but in theory, like the, the first house of self is almost when. Okay. You've done, you've gone through like a composting phase and quieting down and you're kind of releasing things going into the next year that are no longer serving you so that a new seed can get planted and a new pattern of growth can take hold. So when the sun's going in your, through your first house, there can be more of an emphasis on things you want to initiate and start. It could have something to do with starting a new, like a new exercise habit, for example, because the first house also has to do with the body. And, uh, so you might be feeling more active, more energized, um, wanting to initiate something that also requires some time and space, especially if it's a different pattern of growth than your current habits. And so, uh, so then the polarity of that's the seventh house, right? So when the sun is going through your seventh house, there's more light and awareness on relational dynamics. And so if there, if you're not feeding and showing up to that part of life, um, And vice versa, if you're not feeding and showing up and taking care of your personal needs and these new things that you want to initiate in your life, then there's going to be conflict because needs aren't getting met. And, uh, so, so for us, we've just kind of recently discovered that, um, The time of year where we've had our biggest conflict is super, super tricky because my husband is a teacher and he teaches English. It's not like he can grade papers by running things through a Scantron. So there's a massive energy output that goes into end of semester dynamics where there's just a lot of extra work that needs to be done to complete the end of semester. So not only do we have that, so think of this, we have a relational dynamic where there's solar energy in the first house and the seventh house. And then for him, his annual rhythm professionally is very busy during that time. Then throw in a major holiday, then throw in a major holiday A family, we'll just say our son's birthday. So there's a party to plan where it's a friend party. There's our little family celebration. We have a couple of really close friends whose kids also have birthdays during that time. It is a packed time of year. And year after year, because it's so... There's so many things going on in a 30-day period of time. We haven't prioritized both those polarity points. We haven't prioritized relationship time and we haven't prioritized personal time to nurture that first house impulse. So... what to do about that but now we can see those patterns and zoom back out and see year after year okay yeah we we tend to run into challenge during that time some years we have navigated it a little bit better um i'm just thinking off the cuff right now that the years that we have done a little bit better we have been a little bit more intentional about making making space for each other and so coming into this next cycle this next um this next time period We can plan in advance. And how empowering is that? Like, yes, there are always going to be lots of responsibility during that time. But like, is there a way that that major holiday we can... Maybe that's just a family holiday. Maybe... Or like a small family holiday, just the three of us. Maybe we're not traveling every single year for that same holiday. Maybe we are in advance putting... couple time on the calendar and honoring that no matter what so that we know we have that as a go-to and we're not forgetting about the connection that needs to happen during that time. And then the person who has the sun going through the first house, okay, we have to prioritize Uh, solo time, whether that's going out for a hike to get space and time to dream about like the next upcoming cycle and what, you know, how that can manifest and time can be made for that. We need to honor both of those things, despite all the other complications of that time. and make that sacred. So we're not allowing other things to come into that space that are like extra and not necessary during that time. And so this was a massive aha for us. And I know this is going to have value for other people too, because especially working relationally, There would be value if you're just flying solo at this point too. But it gets more complicated when we're in a relational dynamic. And there's so much insight whether in a relationship or not. There's so much value in being able to really understand the flow of the year. So that however... your life habits and patterns are set up, we can be way more intentional about how we approach and plan for specific times a year. And how can we creatively work with, when we're in partnership, how can we creatively work with a partner to support their need and their focus so that Everything's getting nurtured in a way that's honoring the flow of that annual cycle. So that is a lot of information. And hopefully that was clear. I think I got off on a few little tangents where maybe I didn't tie it back into the original thread. But coming soon... my gift to you probably sometime mid-summer is an opportunity to have a custom printout of dates when the sun moves into each of your 12 houses and then a guidebook going along with that that goes into a more detail and I'll probably be sharing another podcast too. It goes into more detail about the nuances of each of the 12 houses. Cause I'm, I'm not really a surface level person. And in, you know, the case of a podcast, sometimes, um, I need to be simple about things so I can get through different points, but know that each of those 12 houses, there's a lot more depth to each of those areas. Um, and so I want to be able to share, um, some meteor content in the guidebook so you can map out your solar year and plan ahead or do some reflection and go back and look at past cycles and start to notice patterns. Because that's really, depending on where you're at in your journey of understanding your own natal astrology, And your patterns and habits and getting into the transits, which is kind of real time. What's going on in real time? What's going on now? What am I actively working on right now? Those patterns, I think if we can get grounded in an annual rhythm, is going to be an excellent experiential way to to ground into your flow ground into your energy and then we can go from there and there's a lot more things we can play with that that just expand from that rhythm but first getting grounded in that solar rhythm is the basis and then we can pull in things like working with the um the lunar cycle and the new moon and the full moon and then seeing how you know each uh each month of the year for you, what's the energy of the new moon that's in your third house of communication? What's the energy of the full moon when the full moon is in your 10th house of career and profession or your reputation or the most visible part of you in a more public outward facing way? So there's so many things we can play with, but I think getting grounded in this rhythm is going to be an amazing place to start. I really want to test this out and get feedback. It's going to be my gift to you. I'm going to, um, you know, it does take a little bit of time to put together, um, you know, get your natal chart to you and do the print out. So I'm not going to keep this open for forever. Um, But for the time being, at least probably a couple months after I come out with the guide, I am going to be just gifting these to whomever wants to play with it. What am I missing? Okay, so in the short term, if this is something that you would be interested in having this information to play with your guide, play with the calendar, understand your rhythm and flow on an annual basis. Um, you can, but I, before I even come out with the guide, I can start putting together, um, natal charts and creating custom report that comes out with the dates in which the sun goes into each of your 12, 12 houses. Um, I can start putting those together. If you're interested, use two ways you can get ahold of me at this point. Um, you can send Send me an email to karen, K-A-R-I-N, at cosmicrootsastrology.com. That's also my Instagram handle is cosmicrootsastrology. You can message me there. And then what I would just need is your birth information. And so that would be the location. the, uh, the time and the date. And specifically this is gonna, there's a little bit of a nuance here. If you don't have an accurate time of birth, then we need to figure something else out because this is, this is pretty dependent on, um, having a fairly accurate time of birth from a, ideally from birth certificate down to the minute. Um, So there, but there's all, there's also ways, I mean, don't feel like, oh man, I don't know if I have that. Um, or for some reason I don't have access or it was, you know, it was estimated or there's some confusion around birth time. There are astrologers that do, do chart rectification where you can look back at, um, significant past events in your life and figure out, um, pretty accurate, um, time of birth. If it's a, if it's an unknown, um, And, or if it's pretty close, um, you know, you think it's like plus or minus 10 or 15 minutes or within a half hour period of time, we can also work with that too. That's kind of a little bit more nuanced, but let me know when you reach out to me that, uh, it's a little bit of an unknown and we can try to figure something else. We can try to figure, figure that out. Um, and it might be a little experiential too. I can still get dates for you, but you might notice a trend like, oh, I'm a little bit of a week off. I'm starting to think about and having awareness of a particular area of life about consistently about a week before the dates that I give you. And so that might be an indicator too. Okay, we might need to adjust your birth time a little bit one way or the other. And there's ways to play with that. So anyhow, that's a lot of information. Hopefully it was clear. I'm really excited about this because I think it is a really accessible way to start to get grounded in your natal chart energy, because it's one thing to tune into and listen to. There's a, there's quite a few astrology podcasts out there. There's a lot of astrologers on YouTube and I mean, time and time again, even for myself, you know, I'm always open to, um, and, and curious to hear about, um, different astrologers takes on upcoming transit transiting energy collectively um because you know we all have our unique way of interpreting that and different language to use and you know it resonates in a different way so it's it's good to have a couple of go-to people or people that you resonate with and just listening to the transits without knowing how that directly relates to your natal chart can lead us to being a little bit aloof because we're not connecting with it in a personal way. So there could collectively be something pretty challenging going on, some challenging energy going on, but the way that it's aspecting our natal chart is actually like pretty harmonious. And so instead of, you know, massive challenge or crisis or, uh, you know, some big to do, it's actually like a pretty flowy time period. And so, um, that also is something to be aware of is that like the more you learn and the deeper you dive into growing your own astrological knowledge, it's, I think it's critically important that you are grounded in at least the basics of your chart. So you, um, can work with that energy way more consciously. So, um, that was fun. I am looking forward to sharing more about that as I get closer to completing that guidebook. And again, you know, please reach out to me, um, via my email or, um, message me on Instagram. If you're interested in, um, getting that guidebook when it comes out and, And some of you, you'll know, I mean, I know that I have your chart, so just let me know that you're interested and I can make you, I can make you that timeline, that custom timeline as well. And I'll prep that and get it ready for kind of midsummer time. So yeah, just let me know who's interested. I'm curious to get feedback and play around with this and maybe even host a few live webinars to talk about what, what you've found and discovered after playing with it for a few months or a year. So more to come. Thanks for tuning in today. I'm super happy to be here and sharing this with you guys and hope you have a great rest of your day. Cheers. Thanks so much for listening today.
