THE FORGOTTEN FOUNDATION OF CREATION PT 1- COSMIC ED #10
In this episode, we explore what the Bible really says about the firmament and how God designed the universe. The firmament is not just the sky above, nor is it a basis for the flat Earth theory. Instead, it’s a real structure God created to separate realms. You’ll see how verses that once seemed symbolic are actually describing the way the universe is built. This simple but powerful truth will open your eyes to how creation works and why it matters in spiritual warfare.

hello everyone. Welcome back to diy salvation cosmic edition. If you have ever longed to attend bible school but you didn't know where to start, let me tell you, diy salvation is your personal spirit-led spiritual school. I'm telling you, it's designed for explorers of divine truth. If you are an explorer by nature, you've questioned things about the bible, so many things you don't understand about the bible. And church really isn't the place for you to learn some of these things, because really church is a place of worship, you know. So the exchange that goes on in church is spiritual exchange, very deep, very needed. But for you to even get the most out of your spiritual experience or your worship in church, you may need to know many of these things that we'll talk about in DIY Salvation. Now, the topics we discuss in DIY Salvation are not even your regular Bible school topics, you know, and even if Bible school is to mention some of these things, they will only just scratch the surface. So I'm telling you, just go and listen to all the episodes of DIY Salvation and do not miss another episode again, because by the time you must have listened like two, three months. I'm telling you you would know the Bible. Bible will be so simple and so easy for you to understand and even to interpret, that it will be easier for the Holy Spirit to talk to you. You will be able to tell the difference between your mind and the Lord when he's speaking to you. Okay, so, diy Salvation is a personal spirit led spiritual school personal spirit-led spiritual school.
Speaker 1:Now, today's episode we are launching into one of the most foundational and often overlooked concepts in scripture, which is the famaments. I promised you that the next episode we're going to talk about the famaments. So today's topic is what I have titled the forgotten foundation of creationgotten Foundation of Creation, which is, of course, the firmament From Genesis to Revelation. The Bible describes a divine structure, a framework, if you may, that separates dimensions. This framework also holds back the waters. It also serves as a window between realms. Okay, last episode, the cosmos of God I talked about the different dimensions and the fact that there are different realms and different heavens. Okay, so if you missed that episode, you need to go listen to it before, even before this one.
Speaker 1:Now I want you to get your writing materials because today we will be doing some digging. You know we're digging deep into the scriptures and you're going to be digging with me. Sometimes I just summarize. If there's a lot of information to give to you, I summarize and give you the Bible verses. But today I would like you to I summarize and give you the Bible verses, but today I would like you to take a look at some of the Bible verses, because I have mentioned these things in the previous cosmic edition. You know topics. I've mentioned some of those things, I've talked about them, but sometimes I may not have given you the particular scriptures, because when I'm telling you, I'm telling you how they all come together, but I do not necessarily tell you how I came across the information. Okay, all the scriptures that led me, you know, to digging deep. So we are going to be digging deep. So get ready, because this is not just the teaching, it's an investigation into the ancient structure of the universe or of the cosmos of God, because, of course, when we say our universe, as long as science does not have a say in it, they're like we're just skeptical about it.
Speaker 1:Anyways, let's first look at the common misconceptions about the firmament. The popular one that you know is that it's taken from Genesis, chapter 1, from verse 6 to 7. And let's just read that scripture, because that's the first mention about the firmaments. It says and God said Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let her divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament, from the waters which were above the firmament. Now, the Hebrew word that was used to interpret firmament is rakeah. Rakeah is often translated as expanse or a vault, or in some translations they translate it as a dome or a canopy. All right, so these are like.
Speaker 1:Due to some older translations, the translations are not wrong, but based on these translations, a lot of people have concluded that the Bible teaches a solid, that the firmament is solid, is a physical, solid dome that is over a flat earth. So, of course, flat earth theories have used this, you know, to gain traction, yes, and this is what the basis of their information or their belief is. All right, so, but we know that from all the things that we've been studying, we know that the firmament is not a hard shell. Shell, yes, I would say it's a physical. It's made up of physical substance, but no physical substance that is physical from our own realm or observable from our own realm.
Speaker 1:From a three dimensional perspective, no, but from a spiritual perspective, okay, or a spiritual point of view, you will say it's physical, because in the Bible you actually see people walking on the firmament, right. So it's physical, but not one that we can actually see. So it's not solid to that extent. Do you understand? The firmament is not solid to the extent of which people say it is. Where you know, you see, maybe a space rocket is trying to go out of, go into space or launch into space, and you see that thing that it feels as if there is, it hits something and everybody's like, oh yeah, that's the dome, oh yeah, that's the firmament, it's. You know, it's very obvious there, that thing, there, that's what it is and all of that. So it's not that. That's not what the bible says. It is not that physical.
Speaker 1:To our senses, angels are physical beings. You know they are physical, they are spiritual beings. That means they are tangible. That when I say physical, I mean that they are tangible. Okay, so if you're in a realm of, if god gives you opportunity to go into the realm of angels, you can actually shake the hands of an angel. An angel can, can lift you up, can carry you and things like that, but because we're in different realms right now, we cannot observe or see them. All right, but that doesn't mean that they are not physical or that they do not exist. They do exist. So the firmament is that way. It's just that it's something that is hidden from our view for now.
Speaker 1:Okay, so we also know that it's not. It's not a hard shell, like they make it seem, because in the Bible it talks about the firmament as a place where birds will fly Genesis, chapter one, verse 20. It talks about the firmament, as you know, a place that actually where the sun, the moon and the stars are set. Genesis, chapter one, from verse 14 to 17. It also talks about the firmament as a place where spiritual beings actually live in. You see that in Ezekiel, chapter 1, from verse 22 to 26. Even our last episode, we talked about the fact that the creatures in the sea, which is the firmament, were praising God in Revelation. They were praising God and worshiping God. So we see that it's also a dimension where spiritual beings do live in or exist in. All right, so all of these clues point to the fact that the firmament is something that is far more dimensional. It's more, it's more dimensional and it's more dynamic than just a rigid dome, all right. So, yeah, it could be a spiritual dome in a sense, but it is much more dynamic than just that. That's what I mean, all right.
Speaker 1:So other misconceptions have been that, you know, there are people who say that the farmament collapsed during Noah's flood. There are people who say that the firmament collapsed during noah's flood, you know, and that's, I don't. I think they. Actually, if it collapsed, I don't even know why they have or how they even come across that. But anyways, because, yeah, I think I know why, because the bible actually mentioned that the, the heavens, you know, were open and then the, the waters poured, all right. So I understand that part, but that doesn't mean that the firmament, you know, were open and then the waters poured, all right. So I understand that part, but that doesn't mean that the firmament, you know, collapsed and then it got destroyed and all of that. No, you know.
Speaker 1:Some people also say that the firmament is just symbolic. You know, it's not a real structure. Because, right now, if we debunk the idea that it is not a dome, then how are we even saying it's a real structure? It has to be symbolic, right? No? Then other people have said that the firmament refers to the atmosphere. You know, because we have, like, several layers of atmosphere before we get into space, you know. But they also ignore the role of the firmament in separating the dimensions, these heavenly realms that we've talked about, and also the fact that the firmament also hosts spiritual activity as well as natural activity or physical activity. So, in truth, the firmament is better understood as a structured dimension, understanding more as a stretched out expanse that would separate or divide realms, a dimension divider, or one that holds back water or controls water, channels. Water, controls water. If you could see the how would I put it now, the water system, the water system of a city, you know, if you had a way of seeing, you know maybe, how, you know just having the pipelines, you know all of these of a city and how it runs. The water system runs. That's actually the structure of the firmament. You will see running around the universe, because that's really what it is.
Speaker 1:Okay, but the thing is that it's not just water now. There's just so many other things involved that is so interesting. So it holds back cosmic waters, it functions as part of the spiritual architecture of creation. So it's not just an atmospheric layer. We are granted that all the layers of gas that you see in the atmosphere before you get into space are parts. I believe they are all part of the firmament. They are the physical parts that God has allowed us to see in this or feel or observe in this physical realm right, but it's not the firmament itself. It makes up the firmament, but it's not all the firmament, just like the clouds also make up the firmament, but it's not the firmament itself. All right. So now, what is the takeaway from this information is that the firmament is not an atmospheric layer, it is a boundary, it is a platform, it is a medium through which God designed interaction between different realms, or different worlds, if you may.
Speaker 1:All right, now there's a curious passage from the book of Job, you know, and it was actually this passage that got me into researching these things, I didn't even intend to research the firmament itself, but when I saw the scripture and I started researching and asking God and God began to show me, you know, it just completely blew my mind. Job 26, verse 7, says he stretched out the north he's talking about God now the north over the empty place and hanged the earth upon nothing. This, this is powerful, like God stretches out the north over the empty place and he hung the earth upon nothing. So this is a real architectural revelation for you to understand what this verse of scripture is saying. We have to understand what the north that God stretched refers to in this verse of scripture.
Speaker 1:Listen, the realm of God I've said this if you have been listening and following DIY Salvation Cosmic Edition the realm of God is in the north. I also mentioned before that this is the reason why there is this conception about Santa Claus living in the North Pole. Okay, and Santa Claus being this white bearded old man living in the North Pole and answer to prayers is just a caricature of who God is. All right, I mean Satan and all this. Satan has different ways of trying to mess up our idea of God. All right, so God's realm is in the north, all right.
Speaker 1:Now, this next thing I'm going to say is besides my point, but let me just say this Okay, that God's realm is the ultimate true north. All right, just as a true north is, you know, know, to. It's a fixed reference for people who travel, for travelers, right, it's generally at sea. The same way for the entire universe goes through is the true north. If you are like a spiritual being, you wouldn't find this to be very true because whichever way you want to, how you want to check your, your bearing within the universe, you have to start at the true north, which is God's throne. So this north we're talking about in biblical language refers to the realm of God, and the Bible has consistently located God's throne in the sides of the north, which you know. We have said this over and over again it's God's throne is right on top El Elyon and the stark dimensions of reality. You can go listen to that episode. You know God's throne is right on top, all right, right on top, on top, on top the uncreated dimension. That's God's throne and the original starting point of creation, all right.
Speaker 1:Psalm 48, verse 2, david. In one of his songs, you know, he wrote something very, very, very amazing. King David was. He wasn't just the king, he was a prophet. Because there were things that King David sang about that you just wonder, like when he says things about him seeing God stretching the heavens. No, that he rent the heaven, he rendered the heaven. You know what that means. Like he taught the heavens. That means God opened a portal literally before he. He couldn't have, you know, said these things if he didn't see God do these things. I think he was a very prophetic person but he had visions of God. He was somebody who he immersed himself in worship and in that experience I think he had such, he touched God in ways that I don't think would ever understand for God to have even promised King David, you know, the throne, like Jesus, had to come through his lineage just because of his deep relationship with King David. You know, king David really touched something about touch. He touched God's heart, you know, in in a special kind of way.
Speaker 1:So in Psalm 48, verse 2, king David writes or this is a song he says mount, he says, um, sorry. From verse one actually, great is the lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our god, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for elevation, the joy of the whole earth. I know king james version says beautiful for situation, but the correct translation is elevation. When you check the word that was used for situation, there is actually elevation and it's not even beautiful, for before it's not supposed to be there. So it's supposed to be beautiful elevation, the joy of the whole earth is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great king.
Speaker 1:You see, this verse of scripture tells us more about the other verse that we had read, remember. It says God stretches the north. He stretches out the north over the empty place. So now, if we interpret it as the north is the realm of God, so God stretched out his realm over the empty place and then he hung the universe upon nothing. Of course, science already says it, that is space. We call it space. Space is nothing, all right, it's space nothing. So he hung it on nothing. So, but now you want to know that, like I told you, the key to understanding the scripture, the verse of scripture, is that word north. And now we're seeing that the word I said, I made a statement and I said that the realm of God is in the north.
Speaker 1:So I'm reading King David's prophetic word to describe the situation or the placement of the throne of God Almighty. And King David says this he says God is to be praised in his city. Remember what I told you when you listened to El Elyon and the Stark Dimensions of Reality is that, in God's perspective, what is a city? A city is a universe. In God's dimension, a city is a universe. So he says God is greatly to be praised in his city and in the mountain of his holiness. So he says where God says stays is on top of the mountain. Remember when I told you that God's throne is at the penthouse of creation, and then we said that the underworld is in the basement of creation? So david also says the same thing. He says he's, he's high up there, he's on the mountain, the mountain of his holiness. Then he, he, he explains more, you know. He says it's a beautiful elevation, something that is lifted so high, but beautiful. He says it is the joy of the entire universe. God's throne is the joy of the entire universe.
Speaker 1:He now says if this, this is called mount zion, not the, not the physical mount zion, that was in israel, as at that time, because he, obviously he was looking at something else. And then he says where is this man, mount zion? He says he's on the sides of the north, the sides of the north, the city of the great king. Listen, this sides of the north, the sides of the north, the city of the great king, listen, this size of the north is not the northern side of the universal, it's the sides of the north. Just leave it at that, because we just don't know how vast the universe is and I've already told you how the stark dimensions of reality really is. You know, okay. So why does it say the size of the north? All right, the size of the north is another way of saying. If you go check your bible, check the um strong concordance and check it, it tells you that the size of the north is another way of saying um utmost north, you know extreme north, remotest north, you know far reaches of the north, outermost edge of the north, or remote heights of the north, distant northern heights, northernmost points, and so on and so forth.
Speaker 1:All right, so when job says god stretches, stretches out, god stretched out the north over the empty place, he was revealing to us that god stretched a portion of the god dimension over the void, over space, and he suspended the entire universe or nothing. You know, science is so. That thing that god stretched, that piece of God or that piece of the God realm that God stretched over the void, over the empty place, what exactly is that thing that was stretched? Whatever that thing is, we find from scriptures that that particular thing spans the gap between the uncreated realms, the uncreated realm of God and also the created dimensions, and this is what the Bible calls the firmament. God will call it the firmament, but if you are under it, you won't call it a firmament, you'll call it the heaven. That's where you look up and say heaven above. And I told you that even as we look up above that, the people above us in a different dimension also have a heaven above them and they also call that one heaven. And it's all layers of the firmament in between, all right, all layers of the firmament in between, up until the very the topmost where you find God's throne, all right.
Speaker 1:In many verses of the Bible you actually see that this, the stretching, this stretching of the firmament, is described as maybe stretching of a curtain, or as a tent, or even as a veil. So we're going to take a closer look at some of those scriptures now. Like I told you, I said I was going to show you a lot of scriptures today so that you won't think I'm just, you know, making things up. All right, isaiah, chapter 40, verse 22, says that, talking about God, it says that stretched out the heavens as a curtain. So you see, here the firmament is called the heavens. This coincides with the verse of scripture in Genesis, chapter one, verse six to eight, which talks about the firmament that God said he called the firmament heaven. Remember, I think it's verse 8, genesis 1, 8. It says that God called the firmament heaven. So this coincides with it. All right, god stretched out the heavens as a curtain and stretched them out as a tent to dwell in.
Speaker 1:Now this particular verse of scripture tells you something about the universe that the universe is not just, you know, just expanding and going away. It's actually a defined space. All right, I've told you, it's a spherical space. A spherical is defined. And what defines the firmament? What defines the universe is the firmament. That's the reason why you can't actually see a physical, you know, edge of it and see what they call the edge of the universe. Really is not, because we haven't gotten there. Okay so, but if you could actually be in an angelic body and get to the edge of the universe, it's actually the firmament that defines it as a circle, as a spherical universe.
Speaker 1:All right, so don't forget, when I say the universe, that there are two parallel realms the heaven universe and the earth universe. But the bible sees them as a pair. I told you it's just one pair. So when god says the earth, most times he's actually referring to both heaven and earth as a pair. Okay, sometimes he could explain and say the bible could say it's heaven and make the distinction between heaven and earth. But other times you will just say the earth. And when he's talking about the context matters, because when you're reading the context you'll be able to tell whether he's talking about the pair itself or he's just talking about the physical realm. This is which is our own universe.
Speaker 1:All right, isaiah, chapter 42, verse 5, says he that created the heavens and stretched them out. God created the firmament and stretched out the firmament. So you see, when he says he created the heavens, you now see that there are multiple heavens, which means layers and dimensions. That I've mentioned before. All right, in the previous podcast, that there are layers and dimensions, different heavens I've also explained it earlier on, you know. And these layers, I told you the firmament is a dimension divider. So these layers actually are divided by the firmaments.
Speaker 1:Isaiah, chapter 44, verse 24, talks about God stretching forth the heavens alone. He did this all by himself, with no assistance. Jeremiah, chapter 10, from verse 12, says that God stretched out the heavens by his discretion. I like it. God, the firmament was formed through God's discretion, through his wisdom, through his order. Jeremiah, chapter 51, verse 15, says that he stretched out like.
Speaker 1:There's so many scriptures saying the same thing. This is the foundation of creation. Stretched out the heaven by his understanding Psalm 104, verse 2,. He stretched out the heavens like a curtain. Do you see? Zechariah, chapter 12, verse 1, who stretched out forth the heavens and layered the foundations of the earth. I love this because this tells us directly that the firmament is the foundation of the universe.
Speaker 1:I've said this before the firmament is the foundation. I told you that, from God's perspective, foundation for us on earth, the foundation begins from the ground. We lay the foundations in the ground and then we begin to build upwards. But from the point of view of the universe, the foundation started with God and then, of course, from where God is, the foundation is going downwards. From God's perspective, the foundation is going downwards, but for us who are living on the earth, the foundation for us is upwards. It's where God is, god's realm. Do you understand? So the firmament is the foundation, because this scripture tells us that God stretched forth the firmament and laid the foundation of the earth. This is the foundation that starts from above.
Speaker 1:Before we draw the cut in on this episode, there's something crucial we must also discuss. The firmament has everything to do with water. I've mentioned it over and over and over again. We find in several scriptures that talks about the firmament being in water, in the midst of water, or in some sense it is water.
Speaker 1:And the moment you grasp everything we're talking about concerning the firmament, you know many verses of scriptures that you once thought were symbolic will suddenly make real, literal sense to you. For example, you look at Psalm 24, verse 2. It says for God founded it, talking about the universe. He founded it upon the seas and established it upon the floods. Does it make sense now? If you had read this before now, you'd just be like, well, most of these things are just symbolic. You believe it, yeah, but you can't really picture it in your mind's eye because you don't really know what it's talking about. Okay, so, but here it makes. Now, it makes perfect sense when it talks about the firmament. Now, you now know. Oh, it's talking about the seas also, when you see, when you read the seas, the sea, the sea in um definite article the sea, right, you know it's talking about the firmament.
Speaker 1:Remember, in revelation, when he starts to talk about the fact that there will be no more sea, that something happened and there was no more sea. It means that that was at that point where god rolled up the firmaments. Rolled it up like a scroll. Again, remember, that is water, so it will just it. That's like the waves of the sea. So it just rolled off and the moment that happened, all the stars fell to the ground, like leaves from a tree, like fruits of a tree falling down to the ground. All of them fell to the ground, all right. So that tree, like fruits of a tree, falling down to the ground, all of them fell to the ground, all right. So that's when the recreation of the universe is going to be done. Everything is going to be rolled away.
Speaker 1:Even science has predicted these things, that they will happen, that they feel like the way the world is, the universe is like it's going to all end and then it will restart again. They don't even need a Bible to even see these things. These things can be predicted from observing the universe itself. So the firmament is the sea. God founded it upon the seas and established it upon the floods. It tells you something. Now, the entire world was founded upon the sea.
Speaker 1:I'll tell you something in our next episode Very, very key, you know, very, very key. The next episode from this we're going to be talking about the mysteries of the deep, you know, and the allure of water spirits. We're going to look at the mysteries of the deep, very, very interesting and very, very key. You have to, you have to listen to it, all right. So God founded it upon the seas and established it upon the floors. The next thing is that Psalm 104, verse 5, he laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed forever.
Speaker 1:Listen, the firmament is sustained directly by God. It comes from him. It comes from him. In our next episode I'm going to also mention this. It comes from him. The firmament is sustained directly by God. The only way you can remove it's only God. He said it's by his discretion. He put the firmament there by his discretion, so it is still by his discretion. If he wants to roll it away, all right. Otherwise, the only way you can remove the firmament is if you can remove God, and that is impossible. So it can never be removed.
Speaker 1:Genesis, chapter one, verse six to eight, tells us that the firmament is in the midst of the water, as we've talked about that. So you see all this water. They are not analogies, they are not even symbolic. It is real. This is how God created the universe. This is the forgotten foundation of creation. This is the forgotten foundation of creation. This is the forgotten foundation of the universe. In upcoming episodes, we're going to explore more facts about the firmament. We're also going to check and discuss how this knowledge affects spiritual warfare, especially concerning the marine kingdom. Until next time, keep your spirit open, keep your Bible close to your heart and your eyes on the stars.
