Christianity is a covenant with the creator, the one and the only uncreated God. There is no other God. When you get deep into spiritualism, you will find out. It doesn't matter what kind of religion, what route that you take to enter into spiritualism. At one point you will encounter the creator, the one and only true God, because his name is the ineffable name. It is through him that all religions exist, whether they know it or not. At one point they must encounter the creator, and there is no religion that does not fear the creator. Christianity is that one path to the creator. There is no other. This is the path that the creator chose that men would come to him. Every other path is a counterfeit. The creator, in his wisdom, decided he didn't want a religion, and that's the reason why there are so many different kinds of denominations. All the denominations. They help, but what he truly seeks for is the relationship with you.
Speaker 1:Christianity is a covenant with the creator. This is very important. The creator is the triune God, father, son and Holy Spirit. The Father, the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. The creator is the most high God, el Elyon, the only one who is exalted above all things created and above every dimension and above every realm. In him, everything exists and without him, nothing could ever be. This is the greatest covenant any human being or spirit could ever dream to make, and it is easily accessible to you as a human being born on earth, legally, legally born on earth. The benefit of this covenant is that God becomes yours. Do you understand this? The creator becomes yours. He is the creator of all things, but now you can personalize him. He becomes yours. He's the creator of all things, but now you can personalize him. He becomes yours and you become his. He says I will be your God and you will be my people. Although he created everything, he's still willing to be called yours, your God. This means that he takes full responsibility for your life and that, at every step of the way, if you go to him to ask him for his assistance, he is obligated to talk to you, to tell you what to do, to show you a way out, to help you.
Speaker 1:This covenant with the creator guarantees his forgiveness of all your sins, past, present and future. This covenant, it opens to you the resources of heaven. All of the resources of heaven are now accessible to you. It's an abundant supply, with nothing to hinder your access, because God is no longer angry with you as part of this covenant, longer angry with you. As part of this covenant, god also gives you the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, god himself, to live with you, to dwell with you forever, in you, with you forever.
Speaker 1:The reason why God gives you the Holy Spirit is to seal his promise, his covenant. You know, during a covenant there is an exchange. You give him something and then he gives you something. And what he gives to you when this covenant has taken place is the Holy Spirit as a seal, the down payment, the proof that you are now a member of God's family. And do you know what it means for you to become a member of God's family, to be God's own adopted son by covenant? What it means is that you are now a member of God's family, to be God's own adopted son by covenant. What it means is that you are now an heir of God. You now are a co-heir of God, of everything that he has created. The world belongs to you. The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life makes all the difference. It changes everything, because if you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, he will beautify your life in ways that you could never, ever imagine.
Speaker 1:Now let's enter into the main crux of the matter how to enter a covenant with the creator, our Lord Jesus Christ, the ABC of. So the word covenant may sound heavy, but the truth is that it is actually at the heart of what Christianity really is. Christianity is not a religion. Christianity is not a routine. It is a covenant with El Elyon, the Most High God, and, like I've said, entering a covenant with the Creator is as simple as ABC, a Accept that you are a sinner in need of a savior. There is no covenant that can start until you come clean. Even in a marriage, when a husband and wife want to get married and they decide that they want to sign a prenuptial agreement, they must come clean. The parties must declare what they own, and if they don't, it can attract some consequences or even lead to the end of the marriage because of falsification of facts.
Speaker 1:So when you come to God to engage him in a covenant, you've got to accept the truth that on your own, you are spiritually bankrupt. You are not okay. You can't fix yourself. You need help, not from a system, not from a religion, but from God himself. Romans, chapter 3, verse 23, says for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. You must first accept this diagnosis, that you are lost without him, before you can even receive the cure.
Speaker 1:B believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God, not just in your head, not just intellectually. Deep down in your heart, your spirit. Man has to have the full conviction that Jesus is the son of God. If there is something, if you feel like inside of you you know that Jesus is the son of God, but there is something else, like another voice inside that vehemently is against this, you ought to know that that is a spiritual, that is a spiritual oppression is a demonic oppression. There is another voice that is against it and that demon needs to be cast out. If you can't fight it yourself, you need to get someone to get that stuff out of you. Jesus is the son of God. Everybody knows this, all spirits know it, all demons know it, but they lie to you to hinder you from your blessing.
Speaker 1:Believe that Jesus lived a sinless life. He was not born a sinner, unlike the rest of us. He was sin free, sinless, spotless. Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. He had no sins, but it was your sin that he was killed for. He was crucified because of your sins. He paid for your sins and the good news is that he rose again, defeating death on your behalf. John, chapter one, verse 12, says but to all who believed in him and accepted him, jesus, he gave the right to become sons of God.
Speaker 1:This believing in God or believing in Jesus is not passive. It's active trust. It's a personal faith in Jesus as the only way to be reconciled to the most high God. Early on, you would know that Jesus is the only way to be reconciled to the Most High God. El Elyon, you will know that Jesus is the only way. There are no other ways. It's only Jesus, one way, jesus.
Speaker 1:The next step after believing is C Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. This is your covenant vow, Very important. You seal the covenant by saying it out loud Jesus, you are the Lord of my life. I surrender everything to you. I give my life to you. I give my life to you. I surrender my life to you.
Speaker 1:Romans, chapter 10, verse 9, says If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and you believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. This verse of scripture gives us a prescription for every form of salvation that you need. You confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. You believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. You will be saved, even after you have entered into a covenant with Jesus. This verse of scripture, this prescription, you will continually use, it all through your Christian walk, all through your life, because this is the prescription that guarantees that you get everything that God has given to you, even though you cannot presently see them.
Speaker 1:Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Romans 10 10 says for with the heart man believe it unto righteousness. Your believing is your guarantee of justice. Your believing is the guarantee that you will get the justice that you seek for. You receive justice by faith, but, on the other hand, your believing also is what is your guarantee that you are right with God? The only requirement that God asks you for is that you have to believe in Jesus. Instead of you to make a fresh sacrifice of blood, as would have been the case in the past, god only asks you now believe in the sacrifice of Jesus. The moment you believe, you are right with God, you are justified before him, you are sin free, forgiven. You are now his With a heart man believes onto righteousness.
Speaker 1:But then there's a second step. It says and with the mouth, confession is made onto salvation. It is your confession of faith that will always, ever, save you. It's what will get you into the kingdom of God, it's what will give you the covenant, it's what will guarantee you the covenant with God, but also it is what will sustain your covenant. It will sustain you throughout your covenant walk. With the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. And just like that, a, b, c, accept, believe, confess. The covenant is activated and you step into the most powerful, unbreakable and eternal covenant that has ever been offered to mankind, a covenant that has been signed in blood, not the blood of goats, not the blood of chickens, not the blood of bulls and not even the blood of a man, but the blood of the eternal God, the blood of Jesus. This eternal covenant sealed by the Holy Spirit, and this eternal covenant that is backed by all of heaven. So this is how you begin, how you enter into a covenant with the Lord Jesus.
Speaker 1:Now, if you've never taken this step, or maybe you once did, but you walked away. This is your moment. Let me lead you in a simple prayer. Say this out loud with me. Say, lord Jesus, I accept that I am a sinner. I believe that you are the son of God. I believe that you died, was buried and you arose on the third day. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, jesus. Come into my heart right now. I surrender my life to you. Amen. If you prayed that prayer, congratulations. You just signed the most eternal contract of your life. Welcome to the family of God.
Speaker 1:The next step is for you to receive the Holy Spirit. The Bible says that God will give you the Holy Spirit if you ask him. There is no reason for God to keep him from you. Again, you have to believe. So, as I lead you in this prayer, if you want this, as I lead you in this prayer, you know, just believe in your heart that you receive the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 1:I must tell you, receiving the Holy Spirit comes with an evidence of speaking loud in a strange tongue, in other tongues. So, as I lead you in prayer and I ask the Holy Spirit to come upon you, I want your heart to be open to God and receive, and then, shortly afterwards, I will begin to pray in tongues. All right, as I'm speaking in tongues, you will begin to feel words bubble right from within you. Now, you're not going to keep quiet, you're going to give utterance to those words. That means you're going to speak as they come, even if it sounds like it's babble, something you do not understand. Just say it. Okay, it's not gibberish. Even if it may sound like gibberish, it is not gibberish. I want you to give mouth the words, give sound to the words that are bubbling from within you. Okay, I have led so many people to pray in tongues and many, many people have done so immediately. So it's not just praying in tongues, it's an evidence that the Holy Ghost has come upon you.
Speaker 1:All right, father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for those ones listening to me and I ask you Holy Spirit, come upon them, rest upon them. Holy Spirit, come upon them, rest upon them. Holy Spirit, come upon them, rest upon them, let your power come upon them, rest upon them. Holy Spirit, come upon them, rest upon them. Let your power come upon them, rest upon them. Let the power of the Holy Ghost come upon you and rest upon you in the mighty name of Jesus. As you hear, begin to speak. Thank you, Heavenly Father. In Jesus' mighty name, congratulations once more. I want you to keep practicing your new heavenly language. Some other time I'll tell you the benefits of praying loud in other tongue.
