What exactly do angels really do for Christians? Welcome back to DIY Salvation Cosmic Edition. Today's topic is titled The Ministry of Angels. As you already know from our previous topics, angels operate under the supreme command of the Lord of hosts, Yahweh Sabihoth. Therefore, we have concluded that angels are far from distant, passive beings. We said that they are very intelligent, they are very powerful, and they are purposeful agents of God and they operate across invisible and visible realms. So for starters, know that the ministry of angels is strategic, is active, and it is always aligned with God's covenant plan and of course his eternal plan. Everything we've talked about cosmic edition, we're talking about God's cosmic plan, we talk about God's eternal plan as well, because God's cosmic plan is God's eternal plan. So now let's explore the incredible roles that angels play in our lives, you know, and in God's cosmic order. Number one, angels are messengers of God's will. This you already know that angels frequently are sent as messengers to deliver divine instructions, to deliver warnings, to deliver revelations to human beings. In Luke chapter 1, we see that the angel called Gabriel announced the birth of John the Baptist and also announced the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Matthew chapter 3, from verse 13, there is an angel that wants Joseph to flee to Egypt with Mary and with the child Jesus. Also, we've seen numerous angels deliver messages, you know, to Abraham, to Lot, to Gideon, to Daniel, and they often bring insights and also reassurance in critical moments. Today, does this still happen? Yes, God still communicates primarily through his word, through his spirit, but in both Old and New Testaments, angels still appear, you know, to confirm, you know, to direct, to explain divine purposes. Yeah, for angels to appear, physical appearances of angels may I don't know if it has reduced, okay, because we really have no means of recording the appearances of angels. Do you understand what I mean? But like I said, they appear in both invisible and visible realms. So when we are not seeing them, we know that angels are actively at work. Like as you're praying, angels are actively at work. All these divine coincidences, you know, these good coincidences that happen to you when you're praying in tongues, they are all orchestrated by angels, they are the ones doing the work behind the scenes. So, but when I'm talking about appearances of angels, you know, I mean whether or not you can you see your angel. I haven't really had a lot of experiences with my personal angels, or okay, like when I see them face face to face, very rarely, okay, but it has happened very rarely. But do I know that they are they're at work? Yes. Do I know that they are present? Yes. Okay, so what I'm saying is that it may be because of the presence of the Holy Ghost. That's the reason why we don't have, we don't see that much appear physical appearances of angels, right? Where people say, Okay, an angel did this. So the question is, do angels still appear physically as much as they did in the in Bible times? And I'm saying that there really isn't any way of measuring whether they're appearing more physically right now because we don't really have records of them to compare with Bible times. But in Bible times, we have specific records, and even what is recorded in the Bible can't be all that happened. Do you understand? There are many more angelic visits that happened in Bible times, but are probably not recorded, it's only what is recorded in the Bible that we know. So, what I'm saying is that there is an increased angelic activities on the earth today because the Holy Spirit is on the earth, there are more Christians on the earth, and there are more angels walking. There's an increase as darkness has increased, so has there been an increase in angelic activities on the earth. But whether or not there are actual physical occurrences or physical visitations of angels, we can't really tell because there really is no means of recording them. Do you want to understand? Apart from personal testimonies, but even when you watch Sidrott's It's Supernatural, for example, or many more programs like that, you know that there are a lot of angelic visitations. Do you understand? Yeah. So, but if you are not having physical visitation with angels, please, it is not a problem. That's what I'm trying to say. The ministry of angels is very relevant today, but your primary method or God's primary method of communicating with you is through his word and through his Holy Spirit. That means the Holy Spirit will talk to you directly. Okay, so you have to practice to hear him, you need to know his voice. Okay, if I call you on the phone and you don't, if you've been listening to DIY Salvation for a very long time, right? Because you're not seeing me, you're only listening, you already somehow you kind of like know my voice. Wherever you hear my voice, you will know my voice because you've been listening to it. So if I call you on the phone and you don't know the number, and I speak you know a few words to you on over the phone, you will say, I know this voice, I know this voice, I know this voice, even before I make an introduction. So the more you hear God, like the more you know him. Do you understand? So you have to practice hearing God and following his instructions so that you will not be mistaken. I'm telling you, you will not be mistaken. The other day I had a meal, the meal was so delicious, very nice, you know. And then I anytime I have a very nice meal like that, because I very rarely eat, you know, so when I eat, I make a feast of it. So I really enjoy it. So and I'll tell and I'll tell God, you know, like that, that was really delicious. And he now said to me, some totally unrelated, completely unrelated to food, because we're talking about food, but there was something else that I had asked him about whether or not he would grant me a particular request. I didn't know if I was to make that request. He actually answered me that time. He told me, Yes, go ahead and make it. He told me very expressly, go ahead and make it. But you know how you, you know, life circumstances, so many things will happen, and then I began to doubt it again. I was like, Oh, maybe it was just my mind. Oh, maybe it's not possible. Because when I look at the circumstances surrounding this project, it looks like it's something very like impossible, you know. So I started advising myself, you know, like, you know, well, maybe, you know, maybe it's going to be tough, it's going to be difficult, one thing or the other. That's what I was saying to God. Or saying to myself, rather. So I kind of left it. So on this particular day, I was thanking God for the meal. Do you get? And I was saying that this was very delicious, which many times he doesn't even respond to me. Like he doesn't talk to me immediately. Like when I'm telling him thank you sometimes, and I'm sure it happens to you. You're telling God thank you, but he doesn't really respond. Like you just know that he's hearing you, but he's not, he's not all the time. He's he chooses his words. Okay, so but then I just heard, I was just about to drop my plates, so and then he just spoke to me. And what he said to me, but you don't believe me when I said I can give you this thing. Ah I froze, I'm telling you, I froze because I'm like, that this is not even related. But what I'm trying to say is that that was a confirmation that came very like in a very irregular time, you know, in a strange moment, you know, it was not a holy moment. I was not fast, I just had a feast. Do you understand? I was not like very holy state, you know what I mean. But he spoke, and he spoke in such a an and informal, yes, that's what I'm trying to look. I'm looking for an informal way. He just said, and you don't even believe and you don't want to believe me that I'll give you this. Ah, I was like, you know, I froze. I thought about the fact that I've even removed this entire project from my mind, I've you know, like shoved it away like something impossible. But when that happened, I went back, I sat down because I was shaken, you know, I was shaking inside, so I sat down, calmed down, like chilled, like someone poured cold water on me, you know. So I sat down, chilled, and I was like, Dad, I believe. Okay, I believe. So each time I think about it, I say, I believe, I believe. You know, it might not look as if there's any sign of it or that this will either come to pass or it will ever happen. It looks like an impossible situation, but I believe. I believe. I'm telling you, my point of bringing this up is to say that you have to practice hearing God's voice so that even in situations like this, you can tell when God is speaking to you. There will always be a confirmation. And God is somebody who doesn't even tire of giving confirmation. So He will give you, He'll give you. When I was younger, I went before I learned how to listen, hear God, I was always putting out fleeces. I was one of those people that, you know, put out fleeces, you know, before I I learned anything about it. Because remember, I grew up, like I became born again and started knowing God for myself. I had no Bible teacher, I had nothing, nothing to hold on to, I had no one to show me the way. I had to read the Bible and deduce and read books, you know, and which were very few at that moment, at that time, you know, just very few books, and then I'll read, you know, back and forth like that and try to imagine. Nobody really taught me the word of God. So I used to put out fleeces a lot. God just shut that down. There was one particular fleece, fleece, there was a particular fleece that I put out one time. Ah, God, God just shut it down because it was just totally messed up. Everything was just totally messed up. So, but yeah, God still communicates primarily through his word and through his Holy Spirit, you know, and he would send angels. You can send your angels, but do not look for angelic visitation. It's not in your place to be praying that you want to see Angel Gabriel this night, or you want to see all the people that you know circulate different names of angels, so you use it for your prayers, or you write their names and put on your prayer. There's nowhere in the Bible like that, okay? So, but the ministry of angels is still very relevant to us today. Number two, angels are our protectors and our guardians. One of the most comforting ministries of angels is protection. The Lord of hosts has assigned to you several angels, and they defend you if you're born again, they defend you most times invisibly but very effectively. If you've read this book by Frank Peretti, Piercing the Darkness, This Present Darkness, you know, like the trilogy by Frank Peretti, you would. I really like it because it shows the dynamics, you know, of angelic activities, even if it's a novel. You know, I really enjoy reading it. So, yeah, Psalm 91, verse 11, for he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. In Daniel chapter 6, verse 22, we see angels shut the lion's mouth for Daniel. Angels keep charge over you and they keep you in all your ways. Why do we teach these things so that you will come into a consciousness of it? Okay, so that you will come into a consciousness of it. If you're somebody who walks in, let's say you're working in safari or you work with wild animals. Did you know, and you're a Christian, did you know that you have a covenant with God that beasts cannot hurt you? You are a king. Beasts, see, for a beast to recognize your authority as a son of God, it has nothing to do with prayers, it's a given authority, but for them to recognize that authority upon you, you have to go grow in your consciousness, you have to meditate. If you're in that line of work, you walk in the wilds, you know, you work with wild animals, you are or you are plagued with you know wild animals, animals hurting you, you have to meditate upon angelic activity, meditate upon the fact that you are in league with the beast of the field. There's a particular scripture I can't really quote it for you right now, but this is that I can't tell you exactly where it is, but this is where it says, so you can search for it, tell AI to find it for you that you're in league with the beast of the fields, or the beast of the fields are in league with you, so they cannot hurt you. I use the word they cannot, they cannot hurt you. But when you are an ordinary man, you have the consciousness of being an ordinary man, you no longer glow with the with the light of see the your spiritual gifts actually they manifest by your consciousness of them. Do you understand? That's how it works. Before you turn on the the touch on your phone, you have to be like right now. My phone is not the the touch is not on. But if I just say Siri Lumus, you know, it comes on. Do you understand? It comes on. That's a consciousness. It's you have to think about it before you do it, and then it comes on. Do you understand what I'm saying? So you have to be consciousness of the light that you carry. You have to tell yourself, I am the light of the world. I am the light of the world. I am the light of the world. I am the light of the world. Darkness does not work in me. I am the light of the world. The more you say that you are the light of the world, say it for one week. Just say, don't make another confession. Just make only I am the light of the world one thousand times every day for one week. Watch what people will say to you. They will meet you and they will say, You're shine, you know. People, some people will even call you light on their own. You don't need to tell them anything. You'll say you are just like light. Because human beings are spirits. Do you understand? So they will just it will just start, you will start to radiate. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Then imagine if you have the same mindset for an entire year. Everything, darkness will run away. Anything, sickness, disease, poverty, heartbreak, whatever it is, loss, they're all darkness. But once you start to say and become, it's not just saying, become conscious of the fact that you are the light of the world, then darkness will run away. Because the Bible talks about light. It says light shines and darkness cannot come. How is like even if if I if I turn off all the lights in this room, turn everything off, right? You know, and I just just a little light from my phone. I've not even turned on the touch. You will see the way the whole room will light up. And I would be able to make out shapes, you know, and you know, shadows and all of that. But I couldn't couldn't do it with just it, just a little light. I could do it, I would be able to do that to tell you how powerful light is. All right. So be conscious of it, be conscious of angels. That's what we're teaching this thing so that you become conscious. And the consciousness should be able, see, when you hear these things, you have to put it in your mouth for you to become. That's the method of doing it. You put it in your mouth, say it until it becomes part of it. Then your consciousness has you that's how for you to, you know, like digest it. That's what I mean. All right. So angels shut the lion's mouth for Daniel. It has happened before in the old testament, not to talk of now, it can happen again now, and even much more. Angels delivered Lot and his family from destruction. We see that in Genesis chapter 19. Peter was rescued from prison by an angel, Acts chapter 12, from verse 7 to 11. The angelic ministry of protection serves God's covenant purposes. Like I've told you, you have a covenant with God through the blood of Jesus. God is obligated to ensure that no harm touches you. So God has already put in place because He's obligated. I like the way God works, right? I like the way God's God works. You know, I like that kind of work that you can finish everything. Imagine at the beginning of the year, I have already recorded all my podcasts for the for the entire year 2026. Just imagine that. Like the rest of the year, I am just going to be balling. Like I'm just going to be writing and doing many other things. And I'm not going to think about another another topic. That would be wonderful. But you see, God is the kind of person He will He will do His work in one day for eternity. The work He would have done for eternity. He's going to finish it in one day. Do you get? So when God had a covenant, when God caught a covenant with you, with you and me, you know, through the blood of Jesus, through the sacrifice of Jesus, he already put in place everything that we needed for life. Every single thing that we needed for life. All your needs, all your wants, all your desires, everything has been provided for. Sometimes you think that it's you that is needing or wanting or yearning for those things. But they are longings that were already part of your makeup when God created you. Do you get? So it's always with the He has already created everything and He has already made everything possible. But the key for you to get so the problem is no longer with God, is that you have to master, like you have to gain mastery in operating spiritual laws, and you have to gain mastery in consciousness. That's why we teach, we spend time to teach for you to gain mastery in consciousness. So then once you're conscious of these things, it becomes a part of you. Then you walk as the king that you are. If you're a king and you're just like say seven years old, you don't know how to read yet, or at least read the laws of the land because of the complicated, you know, renderings and all of that, you will not be able to walk in the fullness of your office as a king. Do you get? But as you grow older, you find out that kings spend a lot of time reading the laws, going through them, looking at them, just you know, just going through them because somehow it will just come up. That's how you are as well. That's how you are. You have to be conscious of these things, you have to grow in them, then you have to learn how to wield it as a sword. Do you understand? The sword of the spirit, that's the word of God. You're learning how to wield it. It's not for us to stay every time the devil is attacking us, so we're always trying to, you know, defend ourselves, you know. Faith, faith is a defense, shield of faith. Okay, so faith is a defense. So we're always defending ourselves. That's wonderful, that's good. You can protect yourself with faith. But what about you wield the sword? Do you understand? That's that's an offense. Weapon him, weapon of offense. Why how about wielding the sword now? Do you get before anybody asks us, why how about clearing the way? If you're in a forest and you have, you know, like grasses, tall elephant grasses, and you have your sword, you you cut them down. How about clearing the way, the path for you to walk? You know, what about uh how about clearing the path so that you you you make good success for yourself? That's what we're talking about. All right, so number three, angels are ministers of strength and comfort. Angels are ministers of strength and comfort. Angels minister to human weaknesses, they bring strength, they bring encouragement and even physical sustenance. We've seen that several times in the Old Testament. Right now, there is no law about it. We only pray, I've told you, you only pray to God. We listen to the Holy Spirit. If God decides that an angel will bring sustenance to you, awesome. Okay, an angel can bring you a basket of food or fruits, he can bring you money, you know, he can deliver it right in your in your house, he can deliver gold, he can deliver so many things, he can deliver keys. Okay, that one has happened to me several times. I've even lost count of, you know, where you know you travel, you are in a hotel room somewhere, and you've realized that your box, the key, you left it, you know, at home in Nigeria. So, what do you do? You pray for the angels tomorrow. I want to see my key on this table, and the next morning is on the table. Okay, I've seen, I mean, several things I've lost jewelry, precious jewelry, and angels have brought them to me. Things that I never thought I lost them in another location, and I came back home and saw it. It has happened numerous times. Do you understand? So, angels can do all of that for you, but again, we pray to God, we pray to the Holy Spirit, and then you can command your angels, go get it for me. That's it. Go get it for me in the name of Jesus, go cause it to come, go bring it. I want to see this to tonight, and it will come to you. They may not show themselves to you physically unless it's the will of God, then they show themselves physically to you. Elijah received food and rest from an angel in the wilderness. They do not replace the Holy Spirit's rule, but they work in harmony with God's spirit to assist you in the moments of vulnerability and divine transition. Okay, so for example, the situation where if you are listening to the podcast Healing the Brokenhearted, you know, where I lost my documents in a hotel room, you know, you know that an angel was working. Because what's the reason why somebody comes into my hotel room, a staff, while I'm sleeping, really exhausted from the long journey, and then comes in and then picks up all my documents, you know, and then he was caught and he didn't even leave with the money, he didn't even steal the money, he took it and dropped it in the lobby. What was the reason for that? There has to be some angelic assistance. Number four, angels are our guides and instructors. Sometimes God will use angels to give you direction or guidance. Some angels have appeared like human beings and you didn't even know it. Yeah, some people, some angels, angels very rarely would appear like you know, in with a halo, you know, or with wings. You know what I mean? They just come like normal human beings, dressed in the the way the if you if if you meet an angel in Abuja, for example, he will be dressed like he'll be wearing native, normal, normal, like probably even wearing a good Log Jonathan cap, because I know that they have a lot of you know, you know, aura. They like that kind of thing. So they will be dressed very well. If you meet them maybe in India, he'll be dressed, the angel will be dressed in Indian, and I'm talking about like rural India, right? Will be dressed in in a native attire. Do you understand my point? If he's if you meet him in the UK, you know, in a a formal formal setting, he'll be wearing a very sharp suit, you know, not just dress normally, not overdressed, but dress normally. But something in you will know that you are not from here. This guy is not from here. Do you get there? Just going to be something about him that you say, this guy is not just he's not from here. So sometimes when the angels come like that, they come to give you direction or guidance. You could meet an angel and say, Oh, sir, please, I need the direction to so-and-so place. And he'll tell you, don't go here, go this way. And then the road that you took, you now find out that that road does not even exist. Where did the angel take you to? But then the shortcut has gotten you back home in 30 minutes. You're like, which road did I really pass now? Do you get? You'll be cracking your head over it, like, what just happened here? Then you now find out later on that they were shooting everywhere, and there was actually no way for you to pass. An angel has opened uh what they call it, a wormhole for you. And you have taken a shortcut and you saw the wormhole like a normal road that looked familiar to you. And the angel told you, don't worry, just keep going. You probably even picked the angel on the road and said, Let's be going, you know, like I'll drop somewhere and so-so and so please. And he took you through the wormhole through a shortcut to the back to the house in 30 minutes, something that could have taken you two hours, just because they were shooting everywhere and he has come to preserve your life. See the story I'm telling you, it's it's frequent, it has happened several times. Yeah, so, anyways, an example is an angel instructing Philip to meet the Ethiopian eunuch. You know, that particular meeting was weird because even after the meeting, you notice how Philip just disappeared, you know, like even how he even appeared there. The transportation he took, how he got there, like I said, wormhole. He has found just one way. Like, there's I I'm trying to refrain from using the word portal, but he has, you know, there's a shortcut, walked, you know, somehow, and he got there. An angel assured Paul during a life-threatening voyage that everyone aboard will survive. Was an angel that met him, you know. So it's this method is you is rare. I'm not saying you should look at it, look for it all the time. If that's the method that God wants to use, so be it. Do you understand? So be it. There are many situations where, like life-threatening situations where maybe someone someone was driving through, and then the person picked up a stranger on the road, and as they were leaving, the car was they didn't know that there were bandits on the road, and the car was attacked and gunshots all over the car, the tires were completely short, but somehow he drives all the way, he gets to his location thinking that the car was fine. Me while the foil has finished licking on the way all the way. There was no foil, the tires were totally down, but he drove very nicely and got home. And the moment he got home, the car broke down, and the person that was in the car with him has disappeared. So, how do you explain that kind of movement? Do you get so it's situations like that? They come, the Holy Spirit brings them to you just so that you know, but again, remember consciousness is very important, it's very key. You should expect angelic assistance, like just expect it. It's normal, normal. Do you understand? If you have someone helping you, you have like domestic staff, you know, in the house, you already know what their jobs are, they already cut it's their jobs are already cut out for them, so you know what they are doing per time. Do you understand? You're kind of like relaxed, you're not concerned. But if they're your domestic staff, they go on break. You will wake up and you will plan how you're going to take their responsibility so that you will not fall behind. Is it not true? So that's what I'm trying to say. You have to be conscious of the fact that you have help, you have support, you have people that are going to help you. And the more conscious you are, the more you're able to use their help. Go, ministry angels, go get this done for me. Learn it, be used to it, just be saying it, let it be rolling off your tongue. There's so many things for you to say and think when it comes to the kingdom of God so that you don't fall into depression or fall into all manner of you know bad thoughts. Okay, so they are rare, like I said, but they are always subject to God's sovereign voice. Angelic guidance is precise, it's purposeful, but they do not ever contradict the Bible.
