Hello everyone, this is part two of the ministry of angels. In our last episode, we started talking about the ministry of angels, and we said angels are messengers of God's will, they are our protectors and guardians, they are ministers of strength and comfort. We also said that angels are our guides. Okay, so number five, angels are witnesses to redemption. One thing we must note about angels is that they are deeply interested in God's redemptive work amongst mankind. If you've listened to the episode, The Host of Heaven, you will understand what I'm saying. And if you haven't listened to that episode, you're supposed to listen to that episode before you even come to the ministry of angels because the ministry of angels is the last part of that episode. Alright? So angels are deeply interested in God's redemptive work amongst us. 1 Peter chapter 1, verse 12 says that these are the things that angels desire to look into, they desire to look into. I've told you before that angels are the firstborn of creation, they were first made in the image and likeness of God, even before us. So they are like the Esau of our universe, and we are like the chosen one, not because we're like perfect, the chosen one. In fact, we're even more imperfect than them. Angels come into this world and people worship them as God because they look at themselves and look at the angel, and the powers of the angel surpass our own. And we're like, ah, how is it now? Do you get? And then they start to worship. And angels, these angels, they laugh at they laugh at mankind. I'm telling you. Have you not heard stories about the Nephilim, right? Have you not heard stories that these hybrids were being worshipped as gods in times past because, of course, they were very mean to mankind, they don't have human feelings, so you know it was easy for them to eat human beings and do all manner of things to humans, you know, and hurt humans. And so humans realized that we we have an enemy and there was this unending war until you know so many things. Well, the history is very long. So, but then what I'm trying to say is that after a while, these so-called beings that started being worshipped. Human beings were taking sacrifices to them, even feeding them their children. And these beings will sit down and be laughing at human beings, they'll be laughing at us. They'll be saying, Imagine, do you know that they worship us as gods? Have you not heard it? This is I'm telling you, have you not heard it? Have you not read about it? That they laugh at us, that we are considering them as gods, we worship them as gods because they know that we are higher than them. The angels, I'm eight. What is man that thou art mindful of him? Who is this man that you even visit him? Like God Himself. How many plow many of these star systems do you know that God will go and visit them? Do you understand? It is real estate. They come to him, they come to report. Do you understand? He has agents everywhere. He can go if he wants to, but God will come to this our fallen world and have a meal with a man called Abraham. Now he even lives in you and me. Ha! The angels desire to look into these things, they don't understand it because God does not live in them. Do you understand what is going on? The rest of the universe, when they see Christians, when they see me and you, they are seeing God, the Holy Spirit working, multiplied in all of us, like avatars of God everywhere. Do you do you not understand what I'm saying? Like everywhere, the Holy Spirit in you looks like you. The Holy Spirit in me looks like me. You probably have met the Holy Spirit in you before. In dreams, when you saw yourself talking to yourself, you the other version of yourself is a higher you is a higher version of yourself talking to you, advising you, or trying to tell you things or give you direction. That's the Holy Spirit in you. That is you. If you're still having that those visions of seeing a dual you, where you see a different higher you and the version of you that you are right now, then you need to get you have to you have to pray in tongues, you have to get to a point where you have that oneness. You are just one because you yourself, you're undivided, you are one spirit with God. You're supposed to see yourself just you and you alone, right? So that's just an indication that there's division. There's a division in your soul where your spirit is separated from the rest of you. You know that that's already a problem. So you need to come into oneness with God and with yourself. So yeah, angels desire to look into these things. Luke chapter 15, verse 10 says, There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. Glory to God. Angels rejoiced at Jesus' birth, they ministered during his life, they announced his resurrection, and they will also accompany him as at his return. Angels celebrate every soul that are worn into the kingdom, and they observe the unfolding plan of salvation with all. Glory to God. Number six, angels are agents of divine judgment and deliverance. I like it when they do this one. I think the angels also like it when you know they have to, you know, like you know how a soldier is in training for so long until they get some piece of action. Uh-huh. At times we see angels in the Bible involved in both the deliverance of the righteous and even in the judgment of the world. Exodus chapter 12, verse 23. The angel of the Lord executed judgment on Egypt during the Passover. 2 Kings chapter 19, verse 35. Angels struck down Herod. Did you know that? Herod, when Herod, Almighty Herod, that took off the head of John the Baptist, last last, he was struck down by an angel. He was he must have been a very wicked person, honestly. Because what's the reason why an angel had to come and kill him? This is just my own thing, you know, right? Because that that's Herod was he obviously was someone who dabbled in voodoo and judju or whatever it is you want to call it. He obviously was making sacrifices. I'm telling you, for him, for him to have been in to be so arrogant in power, you know, arrogant to the point of being arrogant against God, no fear. It means that he has some spiritual back. He was doing juju and voodoo, you know. So, probably trying to extend his life or whatever it is he was doing, an angel just came and struck him. That was the end, like in normal language, the angel slapped him. Also, we see in 2 Kings chapter 19, verse 35, that an angel struck down the Assyrian army. Also, angels will participate in the end time separation of the just and unjust. Matthew chapter 13 from verse 39 to 49. Angels are fierce, they are faithful, and they defend the cause of righteousness as determined by the Lord of hosts. Any work that the Lord of hosts does not assign to them, and angels do them. You know now, soldiers, soldiers always fall into this kind of trap, you know. Soldiers are supposed to follow others. When they don't follow others, what happens? So, yeah, that's the difference. You now you're a son. When you don't follow others, nothing will happen to you. Because you're a son, nothing will happen to you. Well, don't continue because this is a time of grace, this dispensation of grace, right? So you don't want a situation where you get to the point where your heart is hardened against the instructions of God. So you get you have to apply the blood of Jesus very quickly. Number seven, angels are servants to the heirs of salvation. Hebrews chapter 1, verse 14. Are they not all ministry? All angels, all not even all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation. We are the heirs of salvation, and they are our servants. I know you think that the word servant is too harsh. It's not minister, servant is the same thing, okay. Ministering spirit is a servant. A servant is not such a bad word, is you're offering service, okay? You're offering service. That's why labor laws refer to workers as servants. It's not a bad word, it's not a bad word at all. It means that you're offering service. Hebrews chapter 1, verse 14 sums up angelic ministry to us, to mankind. They serve God's redeemed children. Although angels are very majestic and they are powerful, they serve with humility under the command of Jesus Christ and the minister to the redeemed. Angels are always at your service, but you have to learn to take advantage of their ministry. Like I said, how would you do that? By being conscious. These things I'm telling you, you have to be conscious. As you have heard it, how do you become conscious of these things? You begin to speak it to yourself. You say it. You say it loud, you say it over and over again. Meditate meditation for Christians is mouth meditation. It's not too much. You think about it until you say it. You think about it because for understanding purposes, then you say it. You think about it, then you say it. You think about it, you say it. Do you understand? The more you say it, the more it sinks. It may not sink on on the 20th try. You try 40 more times, 50 more times, 60 more times. As you're saying it, you're seeing pictures of what you're saying. You're seeing pictures of what you're saying. After a while, you start to see that the things you're saying begins to vary. Do you understand? It begins to vary. It begins to vary. I'm a child of God. I'm a child of the king. I'm a child of God. I'm a child of the king. I am God's child. I'm a princess of God. I'm his first daughter. They're all the same thing. You're seeing pictures in your mind when you're saying it. And the more you're saying it, the more it sinks into you until we drop into your spirit. One day something could happen to you, and somebody will maybe say something nasty to you. Say, ah, I'm a child of God. When you're saying I'm a child of God, it didn't just come from a place of repeating Christian dogma. No, it came from a place deep within you that knows. It came from your knower. That is when you have received it. That is when you have become conscious of it. In that moment, if you could see yourself in the realm of the spirit, you have you glow. In that moment, you glow like literally things in creation turn like this and look at you. You know, you know that twinkle, that light. There'll be a light, and that's music, that's soft music. Everybody will just turn and look at you like this. What's happening? Manifestation of the sons of God. That's what's happening to you. So consciousness is important. Okay, so go and find it and get a copy and read. These end times, like the times we are in, right? It's the time when wisdom, like the knowledge of God, is deeper. God has revealed many more things to us right now, but the more God reveals, the the darkness in the world has increased also. So there are more distractions to keep people from hearing the word of God or understanding the word of God. So you need to take extreme care for you to go back and listen to these things. You need to understand these things. And when you get a hold of it, you have to keep saying it until it becomes a part of you. I'm telling you, you have to get it. You have to get understanding. We can't joke with the word of God right now. There is revival going on in the world today. There are many men of God that God is using to bring revival. But after revival is teaching. After revival, we have to get something in. When you pray in tongues for many hours, pray, pray, pray in tongues, pray in tongues. You have a large appetite for the knowledge of God. So where do you get the knowledge of God? Teaching. DRY salvation. Do you understand? So you have to, you have to like just keep listening, keep listening, keep listening. I have literally listened to like back then, I'd listened to all of Charles Capp's messages. You know, I had listened, every everyone that came back then, of course, over the years, my focus changed to other ministers and all of that. But back then, I'd listened to all their messages upon at least recorded messages up until that point. All. As long as it was recorded, I'd listened to all of it. Charles Caps, Keith Moore. I listened to countless Kenneth Copland's messages. Gloria Copland, Creflodola, Bill Winston's messages. Ah, all of them just keep listening and keep listening. How what time did I have to devour those things? You know, but I did. I did. You just keep on. You would not know when it becomes part of you. When I'm preaching now, you will not hear me talking like Creflodola or talking like Bill Winston. But these are the messages that shape me to who I am today. My expression is different in the way God created me to express, you know, his gospel. It's the way he created my expression, it is different. But you see, I was the food I ate was cooked by all these men of God. Do you get? And some Nigerian pastors as well. So angels are always at your service. You must learn to take advantage of their ministry. You are not alone in your work of faith. They may be invisible, but the ministry of angels is real. They are assigned by the Lord of hosts, the commander in chief of the host of heavens. They move at his command. Angels are not to be worshipped, they are not to be idolized, they are to be acknowledged as part of God's gracious provision. They remind us that this invisible realm is active, is ordered, is fully engaged in God's redemptive plan. You can go listen to the topic host of heavens. Psalm 34, verse 7, the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and delivers them. Now, how do we activate angelic assistance? Although angels are sent by God, you yourself have a part to play in aligning with angelic ministry. In Psalm 103, verse 20, we have a key insight as to how this works. Bless the Lord, ye his angels that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Here we see angels excel in strength. But the only way they have any right to exercise such strength is that they do God's commands. They are under the command of the commander of the host of heavens. Alright? Now, how does this relate to us then? It says that they hearken unto the voice of his word. So when you I tell you that angels do the work of God, it's not like the Holy Spirit is actively now, now telling angels this is what you do, this is how you do. I told you that God does, it's like you know, God doesn't really like work too much. Do you understand? He likes to do his work once, he likes to do his work once, and it will continue for all eternity. That's that's how I see it, okay. So once he has given his instructions, it just keeps reverberating throughout eternity. So God already put his word and he gave us his word with all the power. The seed of everything is inside the word, everything that we need is inside his word, okay? And he has already programmed the angels to understand to know the word, to recognize the word. Maybe there's something in the word of God at the moment, it looks like it's just words from a book, but the moment you just read it, it's filled with such divine power, you know, such heavenly power that it can activate angels from any realm and they show up on your behalf. There's just something about the word of God, the seed of the word. Truly, the seed of the word is really a mighty seed, it is mighty because just speak it and it will it will reverberate throughout eternity, and angels will come to your rescue because their work is to do what to hearken onto the voice of his word. So he does God doesn't have to speak the word again, he has already spoken it. Let me go over this. Angels are commissioned to respond to God's commands by hearkening unto the voice of the word. That means that angels will move into action when they hear God's word that is spoken with authority and faith. So the only thing that needs to now be done is no longer for God to speak it, but for somebody else to speak it. Who? God's avatar to speak it. You. You have to speak it. The moment you speak it, God has already spoken it. That is the difference now. God's not going to say it again. He has already said, like, from the foundation of the world. He already spoke these things into being from the foundations of the world. So now it's for you to now say it. The moment you say it, you have activated that word that God spoke before, and you have activated it in your circumstance. And that's how they hearken. Instantly, they hearken to the voice of his word. So there's the word of God, and then there's the voice of God's word. There's the word of God, and then there's the voice of his word. So you have to give voice to his word, you have to voice his word. Do you get voice the word of God? That's why I told you. You have to meditate on these things, understand these things, meditate on them, and speak them. Meditating is mouth meditation, speak them over and over and over and over again until it becomes part of you. Right? So angels will move into action when they hear the voice, the they hear God's word spoken with authority and faith. Psalm 119, verse 89 says, God's word is eternally, eternally established in heaven. That's what I'm trying to tell you. God's word is already eternally established in heaven. But you see, the manifestation of his word on the earth requires that you will give it voice. You have to voice God's word. The word of God is described as a two-edged sword. This particular one I'm saying to you now, I learned this from Pastor Nkechiene many years ago. I'm just using this in loving memory of Pastor Nkechiene. This was when I was 14 years old. She has been an OG in this thing for some time, you know. And she taught me this. She said, and the word of God is described as a two-edged sword. Hebrews chapter 4, verse 12, Revelation chapter 1, verse 16. He says, one edge is God's original utterance, and the other part is our agreements and our confession of the word of God. So when you speak God's word in faith, you are giving voice to his will on the earth. You are activating the ministry of angels on your behalf, declaring the promises of God, whether in prayer and worship or in prophetic confession, you create an atmosphere that is charged with divine authority. And angels as ministry spirits, this are sent to serve us who inherit salvation. And then they are released to act when the word is voiced with faith and alignment to God's will. For example, when Daniel prayed and aligned his heart with God's will, an angel was immediately dispatched in response to his words. Daniel chapter 10, verse 12 records that from the first day that he set his heart to understand, his words were heard. And the angel was the one that was speaking, says, And I have come because of your words. Similarly, Peter's miraculous release from prison came while constant prayer was being offered to God for him by the church. Acts chapter 12, verse 5. And an angel was sent to bring him out. Peter goes to where the church was meeting, knocks on the door, and they thought it was a ghost. They said, It's either a ghost or his angel has appeared. But you know, did the the people in the I mean Bible times they understood something so how did they imagine that Peter's angel would look exactly like Peter? You know, they they had something there, you know what I mean? Because the Holy Spirit looks like you right now, so they felt like Peter, of course, I don't think our angels look like us look like us right now, right? My angel doesn't look like me. That one I know for sure, but I do know that the Holy Spirit in me looks like me. Okay, do you get the Holy Spirit in you looks like you? That one I know for sure, for certain. Um, maybe I'll do a separate teaching about it another time. But just know for a fact that that is what it is. Maybe they add something there because when they came out and church, they said, Oh, Peter is at the door. The person who even checked did not even open the door for him. Pippin said, Piper, Peter is at the door. They said they told her you are mad. Then they came back and said, Well, maybe it's his spirit, either is they were praying for his release. They did not believe in their prayers. They said, Well, maybe it's his maybe he's his angel. They were they didn't believe it was him, but it ended up being him because an angel had brought him him out. So it's important to note, however, that not all angelic assistance is dramatical or visibly spectacular. I've told you how keys can be brought to you when you are cross-country. Do you understand? You lose something, you don't know where you lost it. You lost it. I went to the beach one time, and then my son lost his jewelry. He changed, and then you know where you keep your stuff. So, where we kept our our stuff, I think somebody must have tampered with them because he couldn't find his jewelry anymore, gold jewelry. So we looked for it, we searched everywhere, it was not it was not found, and he was really sad. So we just prayed. I said, Well, by the time we get to the hotel room, it will be there. It will be in the hotel room. Would you believe it? It was on the table in the hotel room. Now you will say maybe we miss we were not sure. No, I was sure. I saw him take off his clothes. Okay, I packed the things and kept them. I only went to go and get pineapple juice for us, get something cold for us to drink, and it was gone. And we looked for it everywhere. Who are you going to ask? On the beach. Who are you going to ask? But then we prayed, and it was on the table in the hotel room. Can you believe it? It was there. We came back into the room and it was there. So an angel could have done that. Do you understand what I'm saying? Like I told you, this has happened to us like so many times. Like we've lost count. Just as I'm talking, and some of the instances are coming to me. So it's not all angelic assistance that is dramatic. I've often said this also that it doesn't have to be spectacular for it to be, you know, supernatural. Do you understand? It can be supernatural and yet there's no change anywhere. For example, a woman that testifies that she has been wanting to be married for many years, she's now like in her late 50s, and she's praying and believing God for a husband because she has not had any meaningful relationship. And then out of the blues, one day she's in the house, and then God tells her, you know, take a walk, and then she doesn't feel like it, but she gets up and takes a walk, and you know, and then she's almost knocked down by a particular car. And she and the the driver they have this exchange and all of that. And before you know what's happening, they the driver apologizes, takes her phone numbers, had phone number, they begin talking. In three days, he proposes to her. What do you call that? An angel was at work on both ends. The whole accident was orchestrated by an angel. There's no way. And the funny thing is that they've lived in the same neighborhood for a very long time, for years, and they had never come in contact with each other. Never come in contact with each other. So it had to be an accident that would make this man come down from the car. It had to be some angelic assistant that would push her out of the house at the at that time, the right time. Do you get so? But was that spectacular? Was that like you know, like the one that happened to the disciples? The gates of the city opens, you know, on their own accord, or their chains are broken, or the prison doors just open on their own accord. Those are spectacular. You know, you're praying and then the prison is shaking, there's an earthquake. Ah, those are spectacular. But how do you explain all these other ones? It's just natural, it looks like natural coincidences, but they are happening. So not all angelic assistance is dramatic or visibly spectacular. Just because angels appear with appeared with glory and power in some biblical accounts does not mean that they always manifest that way. In fact, you've likely been helped by angels many times without even realizing it. You say, Oh wow, this thing happened to me. You just give your test these testimonies are everywhere, but you didn't realize it. Hebrews chapter 13, verse 2 reminds us, do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing, some have unwittingly entertained angels. Do you see? It doesn't have to be spectacular to be supernatural. The absence of physical signs does not negate angelic involvement. Oftentimes they walk behind the scenes, they will quietly orchestrate deliverance, protection, and provision according to God's word. So when you declare God's word, you participate in God's divine order because that's what He He that's the way God ordered it. That angels are not moved by your emotion or by your desperation, they only move at the command of God's word and in response to him. So when you speak the word in faith, you are cooperating with heaven's order, and angels are empowered to act on your behalf. Thank you for listening to DRY Salvation.
