Hello everyone. Today's teaching is foundational and very practical. And I promise you, if you do the instructions contained in today's teaching, your life will never remain the same again. Our episode title is How to Use the Word of God. I know that you love the Word of God, especially if you've been following DIY Salvation. I know you respect the Word of God. But the real question is, do you actually use the Word of God? And do you know how to use the Word of God in such a way that no matter the situation, no matter the time, if you practice the method that has been prescribed by scriptures, that you would always see a result? God did not leave us guessing about how the word works, He gave us a protocol clearly revealed in Joshua chapter 1, verse 8, and it says, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. For then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. This is the King James Version. If we read it from the King James Version, this book of the law, you know that it is strictly referring to the Torah, so we may miss the meaning and we may conclude that this is just God's instruction to Joshua and that it does not affect us or it does not apply to us today. But let's look at this same verse of scripture from the Young's literal translation. I really like this translation because it translates it literally, and you know that I like anything that is literal. Why? Because I believe strongly that the Bible is literal. The Young's literal translation reads the book of this law as opposed to this book of the law, and this wording helps us understand God's intention more clearly. Because here the word book simply means record, so it's safe to say this record of the law. What law? The word of God that God has placed in your heart, or the Rhema word, or the prophetic word, or the word of God that is contained in the Bible concerning God's promises for you. So he says, The record of this law shall not depart out of your mouth. Now you see that it is a lot broader. Okay. So the basically the instruction is whatever law, whatever instruction, whatever directive or remember word or prophetic word that God gives you must not depart from your mouth. This is making it very simple. The record of that law exists so that you will speak it. Okay, like in the New Testament, everything that the blood of Jesus obtained for us, the record exists for you to speak it. And as you keep speaking it, it sinks into your heart and it begins to shape your reality. So God gave that information to Joshua. This was a war tactic. Just understand this. This information that God gave to Joshua, we it was a war tactic, it was it was the strategy of God for Joshua to be a victorious warrior all the days of his life. And how does one win with words? This is why the word of God, the Bible, and you learning how to use it is very, very important. The reason why we preach, the reason why you listen to what we preach is so that you speak what you have heard. If God has given you a Rama word and a prophetic instruction, you don't just sit and wait for it to manifest, and then when it doesn't manifest, you say, Oh, maybe that pastor was a false teacher. It may never come to pass, and it does not mean that that word did not come from God. The reason why you will never see it come to pass is because you didn't meditate on it. Not every prophetic word comes ripe, some prophetic words come ripe, so that means as they are speaking it to you, it's happening instantly. But not every prophetic word comes ripe, you have to meditate on it. Question, how do you meditate? Meditation the Christian way is very, very different from meditation the way the world looks at it. Joshua chapter 1, verse 8 teaches us Christian meditation. Let's say you're looking for a way out of debt, you find the word of God, or the scripture that says, for example, for your sakes, he, speaking about Jesus, became poor so that ye, through his poverty, might become rich. Or the scripture that says, My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory. Pick one of them, okay? Pick a verse. If it's about healing that you're looking for, whatever it is, thank God for technology today. You know, AI has made it easier for people to be able to find verses of scripture that apply to them in the Bible. Pick one, all right? Find a quiet place, set a timer, say 15 minutes, say 30 minutes, you know, say one hour, depending on your capacity, and begin to say the word out loud to yourself. As you're speaking it, you think through each word and begin to create pictures in your heart, pictures that you would like to see, the results you would like to see. Imagine them vividly and then repeat the words until you begin to feel it. Your body begins to vibrate, your body begins to feel it. It's as if you're in it. You know how you have some kind of imaginations, as if the thing has come to pass in your life. You know what I mean? The prescription that God gave to Joshua is do it day and night, that is twice daily. So, what's the point? Then this particular method of meditation prescribed by God Himself is what transforms you into what the word says about you. If you remember the verse of scripture as we read it, it says, You shall meditate therein day and night that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. So, Christians, we believe that when the word of God tells us, do not love your neighbor as yourself, do not lie, do not steal, and all of that, we think that we can mentally achieve these things until a situation comes in life that pushes them against the wall and they find themselves doing the same things that they vowed that they would never do. So we find that we cannot mentally achieve anything in life, but rather we can actually start from the spirit. We have to conform to that image in the spirit first, and then we'll begin to see the results on the outward. So God tells us that the method is through meditation. A lot of people come out and they say, Oh, they never plan to be promiscuous it was because somebody broke their heart. No, it's not true. They thought about being with different people, they thought about it over and over again until it began to manifest sometime later. The more you think of those things, you will reflect it in the future. It will not be too far. You will just find yourself doing those things that you were thinking about. But the point of what I'm trying to say is that when you meditate on something day and night, you begin to observe to do according to all that is written therein. You cannot be far from your thoughts, you can't be far from the things that you'll be filling up your mind with. So think about it and speak it until you feel it. This makes you become what the word says about you. And this also is true for negative thoughts and words, too, just like I've explained. If you have recurring troubles in your life, then you have to know that you are only manifesting the result of your deepest thoughts and your words. If you want to change anything in your life, you have to change your controlling beliefs, you have to change your inner thoughts, you have to change your inner vocabulary, you have to change your inner language to match what God says about you. When you see the word of God concerning the life you want to live, you have to say those things, keep them in your mouth until those things reinvent you. Joshua chapter 1, verse 8 ends with this promise. It says, For then thou shalt make your way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Who is going to make your way prosperous? Who is going to change your life? See, God does miracles for us, right? There are a lot of things that you ask God for, and it comes in miraculous form. But let me tell you, what God wants to do in your life is beyond just one miracle. What God wants to do in your life is to reinvent you, He wants to completely transform you to the image that He Himself created you to be, that complete version of you that is one with God, the one He created from the beginning. So all you needed to do now is for that inner man to influence this body on the outside, you know, and your soul on the outside, so that it begins to reflect the inner you. That is what God wants to do with you. God wants to reinvent you so that you come to that perfect stature, you know, to the stature of a full-grown mature believer, son of God. When you get to that point, you are the one that makes your way prosperous and you're the one that may have good success. So that means you've left the level of begging God for miracles, but you now have a lifestyle of recreating miracles day in, day out, just by your lifestyle. Imagine if you start today and you begin and say, Okay, beginning from today, going to start to have so so and so um uh minutes of praying in tongues, so-so and so minutes of worship, so so and so minutes of reading my Bible, and so-so and so minutes of making confessions of my faith. This is your spiritual activity daily, just like you have breakfast, you know, or dinner, and this one you have to do it twice daily. So you set a time in the morning, you set a time in the evening, and then you decide this is how I'm just going to live from today to the rest of my life. Let me tell you, you will not have evil emergencies ever again in your life. Never ever. They will not come near you because you have to you stay with it, okay? It becomes a part of you. You will no longer look for miracles because that was that's what miracles are. You know, like your cases and emergencies today, you need you need God's help today, today. But if you were building gradually all those, you know, obstacles in your that seeming obstacles in your path would have been removed even without you knowing it, just because you have grown. You enter into the place of eternal life where it's only eternal life that exudes from you. In that place, you are untouchable, you are truly, literally seated in heavenly places in Christ. Now we are all seated in heavenly places in Christ, okay? But we may not yet be experiencing it. So this is the method for which you're going to experience it. It has to do with you reinventing yourself, and it's not a one-day thing, it's something you're going to do gradually from today to the rest of your life, just like exercising. So you have to understand that when it comes to exercising, even with our bodies, if you're going to get into staying fit, you have to actually make a decision. Pick the exercises that you're going to be able to handle for the rest of your life. Because the moment you stop, the muscles are going to disappear. Although, thank God for muscle memory. The moment you start again, it picks up again. My point is that this is a lifestyle. When you're doing spiritual activity or spiritual exercise, make it to become your lifestyle. Don't come on and then you go off, and then you come on and then you go off. You know, because that's the reason why your life is going up and down, up and down. One time you're making confessions of your faith because you really wanted a job, you make confessions, then you get the job. The job becomes so hectic, you can't make confessions anymore. You know, you stay in the job one year, two years before you know what's happening, calamity has struck again. That's why you hear those kind of testimonies, and then you get a miracle, and then calamity struck again. Why are you leaving your place of fellowship with the Lord? Why are you leaving that place that you're supposed to be? That place you're supposed to be there forever. So, who will make your way prosperous? It's you. And how will you make your way prosperous by keeping the word of God in your mouth? The word of God is designed to renovate you from the inside out, and renovation takes repetition. You speak it until you become it. So if the word of God is not in your mouth, it will never get into your heart and it will never get to work. Never. So hear it, hear the word of God, say it, see it, and keep saying it. Romans chapter 10, verse 17 says, Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Oftentimes, this verse of scripture is used to explain that you need to keep hearing the word of God. But do you know that faith comes also when you hear yourself speak the word of God over and over and over again? Some of you struggling with spiritual attacks. If only you meditated on your authority in Christ Jesus, you will be so shocked at how quickly you'll be free. I'm telling you, faith is released by speaking, and true meditation is not by you chanting, it's not by you emptying your mind, because that's what the world teaches. Biblical meditation is you filling your heart and your mouth with the word of God. Second Corinthians chapter 4, verse 13 says, We also believe and therefore we speak. If you believe, but you never speak it, it would never manifest it. So, this is the reason why God told Joshua a military commander that he should do what to use his mouth before using his sword. Because you see, in the kingdom of God, your mouth is your weapon. If Joshua had not yet used his mouth, there's no way he would have succeeded in using his sword. This is kingdom protocol.
