What if the very things meant to “boost” your prayers are the reason your faith stays weak? We take aim at the subtle ways props—candles, oils, rituals, even churchy habits—quietly replace trust in God with trust in methods, and we show the only Scriptural aid that actually stabilizes faith:   co‑perception.

SPEAKER_00:

Hello everyone, welcome back to DIY Salvation. If today is your first time listening to any messages from DIY Salvation, I want to say congratulations, you have made it in life. I'm glad that you're here with us. Today we are talking about faith's true aid or the true aid of faith. Okay, we have been discussing co-perception, and all these teachings on co-perception have been taken from my book titled Co-Perception: How to Securely Navigate Your Faith to Prevent Shipwreck. The Bible tells us that the just shall live by faith, and that means that the default state of every believer is to walk by faith. And this book, Co-Perception, helps you to securely navigate your faith so that you prevent shipwreck. If you want to copy, it's available on Amazon and on Seller. So many years ago, I was mentoring a pastor. Well, she wasn't a pastor at that time, she was a minister of the gospel. She was yet to be ordained. And in those mentors, mentorship sessions was when she confided in me about her what I now call unconventional practices in prayer. Because she admitted to lighting candles, you know, a black candle for so and so, a red candle for something else, or a white candle for another thing. And she was really like she really believed in what she was doing, you know, because she felt like doing using all of these things would enhance the effectiveness of her prayers. Obviously, she didn't just, you know, come up with these ideas. She had learnt them from a particular church, you know, who had all these strange practices going on as well. So, but you know, hearing her say all of these things, I became intrigued. I probed further and discovered that she had also engaged in, you know, spiritual cleansing rituals. She up she had prayed, gazing at the moon and the stars, burnt sages, you know, even to the using of crystals and so on and so forth. So when I called her attention to this thing, and I said, These things are not biblical. She says, No, that these things help prayer, they aid prayer, they aid your faith. That was her words, that they actually aid your faith. Now, in spite of all her efforts in helping her faith or aiding her faith, do you know she still confessed to lacking confidence in her prayers? And the more she lacked confidence in her prayers, the more of these practices she engaged in, even newer things. If she hears something new is coming up and somebody says something, and this is how she goes for it. Okay, so and I told you she kept on defending her actions because she claimed that these things served as a crutch for her wavering faith. Now, encountering such beliefs is really not new to me because I've even met pastors that you know in their churches before prayer is done, they they tell church members to bring a kid that's a baby goat, you know, and bring you know several other things, maybe coin or so many things that they bring to the altar, and then they slaughter the kid. They slaughter, they literally do sacrifices in church, like blood sacrifices in church. And they quote scriptures that, of course, without the shedding of blood, there is no remission. Hebrews chapter 9, verse 22. We've also seen believers practice things like sprinkling water, sprinkling anointing oil, you know, the anointing oil, you know, it is very it's everywhere, you know, it's it has become like the norm. So you see people drinking anointing oil and all manner of things, and then there are different rituals, and the explanation is that they enhance their faith. Okay, so now while we know that anointing oil, sprinkling water, and all of these things, there are some things that are not necessarily evil inherently, right? The thing about faith is that when we're talking about practicing faith, faith was always meant to be blind. If you still need an aid to your faith, for example, you need a handkerchief, you need anointing oil, you need water to be sprinkled, and all of that, it is an indication that your faith is baby faith. Do you understand? So, those things, some men of God, which who are genuine, would give you those things because they are helping you, but that is not the truth. Those things are not the true aid of faith, they don't really help your faith. What they do to you is that they carry power from the man of God who had just prayed. Are you getting to whatever situation it is that you want to? It's more like a transference of power, okay? If you're in a meeting and there's a there's a prayer going on, and you bring a handkerchief and the prayer was sprayed on it, and then you take the handkerchief to someone who is sick. That was a transference of power, right? Duna means the healing power of God. Did it help your faith? No, it didn't help your faith. What it did was that it helped you to have more faith in that man of God. Are you understanding what I'm saying? So it didn't help your faith. So when it when the the storms of life come at you, do you know what will happen to you? You will waver, you will stagger, and then you will start to cry for help from that man of God. And what if you can't get him at that time? What if he's inaccessible to you at that time? What if even in the prayers and your case was not mentioned? Because so many people wait until their case is mentioned. What if your case is not mentioned? So by now, you ought to be a strong believer, you know, chewing bone and even helping baby Christians that are drinking milk in the faith. But instead of you to stand and chew bone, you can't even eat meat, not to talk of bone, because your faith is still baby faith, even after many years of being in a ministry that has the tangible presence of God or tangible power of God in manifestation every time. You're still a baby. So that's why I'm trying to tell you that these things are contrary to the teaching of Jesus. Have I used the anointing oil before? Do I still use it? Yes. The few times that God has asked me to use the anointing oil, I'll give you an example. One time there was a brother that was in our church, and then he was he had been a practicing Muslim, and then he became a Christian. And then he invited me to his home, to his office, rather, you know. So I went to his office to visit him, you know, with, of course, maybe some delegates from church. And then we had that meeting. The moment I just entered into the office, I felt like the air was tight with presence, with demonic presence, you know. I wasn't seeing them, but I could feel it. It was really tight. Like, you know how you enter into a crowded room of people, right? You know there are people, but just that in this one I couldn't see them, but it was really crowded. There was really no space. So I told him, you know, we had a conversation, we just talked, we encouraged him because he was a new believer, so just went for visitation, and so we encouraged him and everything, but then the Lord told me, get a bottle of water. So I told him, I said, Do you have a bottle of water? He didn't have, so he had to go buy it. Okay, so he got the bottle of water, and then afterwards, I prayed over the bottle of water, and the Lord told me to just sprinkle it around the room, and that I did. It was the Sunday he came to church and he testified and he said, Do you know that in that his office he had his office here has been a place where a lot of demonic activities happened. The reason why is that because he was practicing dark magic at one point, and so there was somebody who wanted him to do a particular work for him, um, spiritual work for him, and so he had to slaughter quite a number of, I don't know the exact number now, I can't remember, but quite a number of lizards, wall geckos, rather. He needed to sacrifice quite a number of wall geckos, and he did, you know, and the he did the spiritual work for the person and the person left. But you know, immediately after then that he felt like they were the spirits of the wall geckos crowded his office, and that there was a particular day when his son was sleeping, just lying down in the office, and just you know, dozed off a little child, and in his sleep, he saw him, you know, bleeding from his nose. He was dying. And so he quickly, you know, tried to revive him, took him to the hospital and all of that. And that since then, the noise in the office, he he's not even able to stay. So, just exactly what I said, like when I entered into the office and I could feel the crowded room, right? That was exactly what he said. He said the noise, there's always noise in the office, but he just couldn't, he would just be managing it like that. And after I just put prayed over the water and sprinkled it, that was the end of it. All the spirits spirits vanished, and that's it, and everything. So much peace and so much quietness in his office. So that's an example. So, do I use do I sprinkle water? Yes, I do. So many times when I do it without instruction from the Lord would be when I'm going to a house to pray for a house, you know, dedicate a house or dedicate a car, I would sprinkle water. Okay, I don't know what reasons, just the way the Lord led me. And so over time, when I do dedications, that's what I would do. If it's a house or a car, I will sprinkle water. Um, anointing oil, when I am ordaining pastors, I would use the anointing oil. That one is for a fact. Sometimes in our church, we have anointing services like once in a month because it's important for the people, you know. I feel like it helps them the entire the rest of the month to be able to be more productive. So I just have that anointing service where I just anoint them and then they go. But then if it's a very large crowd, I can't anoint everybody. What do you do? They can you can pray over the oils and then they can anoint themselves, good and fine. But is it really necessary? No, you can just by laying like from where I am preaching, and I raise my hands and pray over the people, it's okay. Even if I don't even pray over the people, as far as I can imagine them in my mind, it's fine, and whoever can key into it, they can key into it. We don't really need this aid of faith, we don't need it. I'm telling you, it's not just necessary unless, like I told you, by express instruction from the Holy Spirit. So there are ways that God works with people and he has reasons why he does these things, but God always wants us to know that it's not every time because he made a decision to use oil today, that doesn't mean that we should now camp there and build an altar there. Do you understand? You should be you understand that the Lord He is a person, he is flexible, like He changes his mind and He decides something that does not mean it's for all eternity. Then if He tells you it's for all eternity, it's good and fine. Okay, so some things could be doctrinally. So what I'm trying to share with you is the drug is the main thing. I don't know if I want to call if I can call it a doctrine, but when it comes to faith, faith was is designed to work when it faith is blind. Let me just put it that way. Faith is blind, and this the sooner you come to terms with that fact, the better for you. Are you hearing me? Faith is blind. The sooner you come to term with to terms with that fact, the better for you. Because the earlier you know this and settle it in your heart, the more faith you will have. Your default state as a believer is to walk by faith. See, you see this lesson of faith. You can't escape it. I try to escape it many times. You know, try to escape it through frustration. You'll be like, God, I feel so frustrated right now. Can't you just help me? Why do I have to have faith? Yes, you have to have faith. It is important. If you miss the lesson of faith, there was no reason for you to have been born on this earth to become, you know, a saved one or to become a redeemed one. I'm telling you, if you miss the lesson on faith, you have missed the entire point of you being born here. The reason why you were crying, I want to be redeemed, I want to be redeemed when you were in heaven, and God finally sent you here, is for you to walk by faith, not by sight. Are you seeing? Faith is blind, just settle it in your heart like that. Don't look for any aids to help you to see in faith. You do you understand? The only seeing that you would see, you know, will be co-perception. Are you seeing? That's the faith is blind. Let me not jump into what I want to say next. So let's just go with it, but just settle it in your heart that faith is blind, and as long as you can, you know, harness this blind faith and make it work, right? You will have remarkable blessings. So Jesus does not advocate that we rely on external aids for faith, right? John chapter 20, verse 29. Jesus said to Thomas, Blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed. Why did he say that to Thomas? Well, you all know the story of that thus. We all call him doubting Thomas now. You know, very rarely do we call him Thomas. We call him doubting Thomas because he didn't believe. Even after the master had told him several times that he was going to be, he was going to die and resurrect on the third day. And then even when all the disciples had told him that they saw the master, they he said, Until he has touched the hands, you know, until he has seen him and touched those his pierced hands, he would not believe. He would not believe. And Jesus said to him, He said, Blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed. If you can work your blind faith, you are blessed. That's what Jesus is saying. So this you can see that it is very significant for you to have faith, even in the absence of tangible evidence. That's when that's when we call it faith, when there's no no evidence, it doesn't, there's no sign that anything is going to come to pass. Alright. So the Lord commended the faith of those who trust in God blindly without hope in any physical evidence, because this is what brings in the results and the reward. Now, if you require certain rituals before your faith produces a result, I've told you that you're a baby, and I've also I'm also going to add this you should be very careful. Take heed, listen to what I'm saying, be careful that you are not being seduced, seduced into doctrines of devils. If you're in a church where they make sacrifices, you sacrifice a kid, you sacrifice uh, I mean blood sacrifices, you chicken, you you kill, they kill all of this, and they tell you it's going to help your faith. That those sacrifices are not being made to God, they are most likely being made to marine spirits or other idols, whatever it is, but just know that you are in a church that is not a church, is not the church of God. Are you hearing me? It's not the church of Jesus Christ. You are you are, I don't know what to even call that religion, okay? So you better take heed. You know, the pastor of the church, the church of Jesus Christ, Jesus is the pastor of his church. And I'm telling you that Jesus is a very organized man of God. Okay, he has the curriculum for his children, he has the teachings, he has everything. They want to train pastors, the one to train evangelists, he has everything. Sometimes we think because it looks chaotic chaotic, you know. Somebody that you were teaching yesterday, the next thing now he's a man of God. He's preaching, giggett, and he's saying, you know, awesome things. And you're just looking at him like this. And like, God is using this one too, you know. So it looks chaotic because it's not fitting into your perspective, your limit, might I say, limited perspective, because you have to come to terms with the fact that your perspective is very tiny, it's like a drop in an ocean compared to the knowledge of God, right? Now, when all these things are happening, we think it's chaotic. It's not chaotic. God is building his church, and the gates of hell will not prevail. He's building his church. So, you as a Christian, as a believer, and you have the Holy Ghost in you, you ought to know by now how to tell evil from good. You should be able to tell. I've told you before that it's your responsibility for you to be able to fish out false prophets. In this same teaching in co-perception, it's your responsibility to fish out false prophets. Don't just be carried away because of your needs and the things that you want. And let me tell you, everything that you need on this earth and in this life, it's a mirage. I'm telling you, it's a mirage because what we're talking, when we we magnify things, you know, human beings are like that generally. It doesn't matter whether they are believers or pastors. If you don't have, if you're not you don't have a lot of money and maybe you're not flashy and all of that, people would not respect you. It's just like that. Is the is the mindset of human beings, but it's is it right? No, that a man of God has that kind of mindset. Does he make it correct? No, he doesn't. Because all these things will end right here. The funny thing is that it's not even important, it's not part of your life's work. Do you understand? If you like have everything in the world, you will not be rewarded for being the richest pastor or the richest man of God or the richest, whatever. In fact, being so rich in the things of this world does not even validate you as someone who hears from God or a woman or a man of faith. Do it doesn't validate you, it means nothing. Do you understand? It means nothing. This is where it's going to end. The things that are important are the things that have it that have eternal value, and those things that are in that have eternal value, and whether or not you yourself did you walk by faith, did you train enough to be able to walk by faith? Now, the second thing is what did you use your faith for? If you use your faith for things that when passed through the fire, they will perish. Well, too bad. That's if you use your faith for houses, you will get the houses. If you exercise your faith for money, for things, you will get all of those things. But if you exercise your faith to have souls won into the kingdom, to disciple them, to teach people the word of God, to help people in their needs, to uplift the poor and the broken, the motherless, you know, to make sure that the justice of God goes around as long as you are available. Those your works also, which don't, which people do not always see because only you, you know, is between you and God, right? Those things will also be passed through the fire. We already know that you can't even take your chair in your house to your dreams into your dream world. That's for a fact. You can't even take your phone into your into the dream world, not to talk of taking the entire house and take it to the next life. It's not possible. Do you understand? It perishes here, so they are all perishables. And these things that you look at and you hold as so in high esteem and you love so much. The funny thing is that you can't even pass it to the next generation because your your kids couldn't care less. They couldn't care less about the cars. Remember when Homer Jeep was Homer Jeep, you know, and now look at if somebody is bringing, giving you that car as an inheritance, would you at would you appreciate it? No, of course not. Okay? So that's what I'm trying to say that the kids, you build a very big and mighty house in the village, and you expect your child that is now set, well settled in the Maldives to come and live in the village. No, he's not going to take that house. The most he's going to do is to sell it. And the funny thing is that even if he sells, it's not even going to make him any money. So he's just going to be abandoned there. Do you understand what I'm saying now? So the things that you value now, it's not even valuable to the next person. You know, to the things that are valuable to me are not even valuable to my daughter right now. The things that are valuable to her will not be valuable to her own kids. So at the end of the day, King Solomon looked at everything and he said, All is vanity. They are empty, there's nothing to it. They do not have eternal value. That's my own word. They don't have eternal value. Now, are all those things bad? No. What the Bible teaches is that if you seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, that all these things will be added. They are additions. When something is added to you, your focus is not on that thing, on that thing, right? When it comes to you, oh well, you are not the one to boast about cars because you didn't use your faith to go and get the car. What you did was that you pursued the kingdom of God, and guess what? Cars were added to you. So you're like, oh, okay, you know. And then you continue, you're still focused on the word of God, you're still focused on the kingdom of God, of ad on advancing the kingdom of God. This is the mindset. And I'm telling you that you need to work on your faith so that you can use your faith to advance the kingdom of God. This is the major reason why we're here. Now, is it that every one of us is going to be a pastor or every one of us is supposed to be an evangelist? No, but every one of us is supposed to preach the gospel and teach the gospel. We are supposed to tell people about our experiences. Every single one of us. What's the work of a pastor? To equip you so that you can go and do the work of the ministry. That means the pastor is not really doing the work of the ministry. You are the one doing the work of the ministry. Do you see that? So the pastor equips you and then you go do the work of the ministry. If you're an evangelist, you're already in the field doing the work of the ministry. Okay, if you're a businessman, you should be an apostle in the workplace. Because the word apostle is a sent one. Who is a sent one? All of us, we are all sent. We are sent to tell the rest of the world that the light came, the true light came to give light to the rest of the world. And then you're pointing them in the direction of the light. It doesn't matter what it is that you're doing. Your job is good, you're helping humanity. Even if you're if you're a medical doctor, you're helping humanity, you're doing all of that, you're getting paid for it, but it does not have eternal value. The number of people you save a day, you know, physically, does not change until you're able to save them spiritually. If, for example, let me tell give you an example of the way the Lord looks at things. For a successful doctor, he to him, his his success in his mind will be that he was able to save, let's say, 500 lives in a year. Let's just put it like that. Okay? So he was able to save them. So he was able to cure diseases, he was able to do this and all of that. And all his 500 patients are alive. That's good. Now, if you compare them with a medical doctor, who maybe the all his 500 patients that came to him were not really like, you know, simple, simple situations. They were complicated issues, maybe cancer, maybe incurable diseases that were coming to him. I had 500 patients like that, right? Now, out of these 500 patients, now he he saw that the situation was so there that he knew that there was no way they could be saved. So, what did he do? He decided to preach the gospel to them. And all 500 patients gave their life to Christ, but he did not save them physically because they were incurable diseases, and then they all died. And guess what? They made it to heaven. They entered, he populated the kingdom of God with 500. Now, let's go back to the first doctor. The first doctor had 500 and he saved all of them, and they all go about their businesses, and none of them is even saved. Which of the work of a doctor was more profitable? So that doctor that saved 500 and they are now in heaven, you know, it's more like his work as being a doctor, he was actually doing the work of the ministry, even if he was doing his medical practicing his medical profession. This is what I'm trying to explain to you. Seeking the kingdom of God should always come first before any prof any of your profession, anything that you're doing, it should be the number one thing that you're thinking about daily. It has to be at the forefront of your mind. Whoever it is that you meet, just drop a word for them. Tell them, Do you know Jesus yet? Have you met him yet? Do you understand? Just drop a word. Say something. And I'm not just talking about just say, Oh, let me pray for you. And that's it. If you're praying for them, pray for them to become Christians. Ask the person and say, Let me pray for you, and then just lead the person to Christ. I heard this testimony from my pastor recently, and he said this. He said that he had a very good friend. He was his neighbor, you know, and they were good friends, but the guy was a Muslim, and he's a he's a pastor, so of course, just good friends, but he wouldn't want to put pressure on him and all of that. And then one day his friend comes to him and says to him, he says he's going for a surgery, all right? And that he wanted to go in for a surgery, he doesn't know if he's going to be successful and all that. So he said, Let me pray for you. Can I pray for you? He said yes, and then he says, Say after me, Lord Jesus, come into my life. I like that kind of prayer because he the prayer was not, oh God, let him go in and come out safely. No, the prayer was I had like just receive Jesus right now. And the guy received Jesus and that was it. He went in for the surgery, came back, and guess what? He was he lived and he spent the next four years of his life serving God, no longer a Muslim, before he went to before he went to be with the Lord. So that is a profitable prayer. So anytime you're praying for people, you know, this kind of prayer is like, well, let me just pray for let the Lord just bless you. That is not the see. Let me tell you, you're not helping people. You're just making random prayers. You're not helping people. Don't pray for their businesses to prosper. Don't pray for anything, just lead them to Christ straight up. You know, tell them straight up, are you just say this after me? You don't need to even give them any what they call it, heads up. Say this after me, Lord Jesus. I mean it with your heart, Lord Jesus, come into my life. I believe that you're the Son of God. As long as somebody has given you the what they call it now, permission for you to pray over them, let them pray that prayer. Okay, because the world is getting darker and darker, and this is the best time for us to express our faith or express our lights to the world. Glory to God. So the only rituals that God will call you to would keep you trusting solely on Him, and such rituals will be worship, praise, Thanksgiving, you know, praying in tongues. It will not be praying, facing the moon on the full moon day. Do you understand? It will not be, or you take. I think I heard something about moon water, drinking moon water. So you take your water, put it out to face the sun, uh the moonlight, let the moonlight be in it, you know, reflecting the water, then you drink it. You know, people should just be very careful, right? So, like I've told you before, that there may be exceptional cases where the Holy Spirit may direct the use of items such as such as anointing oil or water, but this thing should be done based on specific guidance. The Lord has to tell you, because ideally, our faith should mature independently of such external aids. This also means that faith does not need any such aids like candles or observing the elements or using anointing oil or even water for it to be effective. It doesn't. When I was sprinkling the water in the church member's house, right? It was not because I was trying to help his faith. He didn't even know what I didn't even tell him that this is what I experienced when I entered into your office. Are you saying? I never even said anything, I just had an instruction from God and I knew that it was about that situation, and the way to expel the evil spirit was to do that. It had nothing to do with helping his faith. Okay? It has nothing to help it, is not it has nothing to do with helping his faith. No. Okay? Now, would he do the same thing that I did? Maybe if that kind of situation comes up again, would he do the same thing I did? Yes, because he's a I mean, he's a baby Christian, so they learn, babies learn just what they've seen. As long as it works, he's going to do the same. He's going to take water, he's going to pray in tongues over it, and then he's going to sprinkle it everywhere. And it will work. Is he helping his faith? Not necessarily. It has nothing to do with his faith. You have to grow your faith. It's just that this is the method that the Lord gave to me to expel those demons at that point in time. Faith does not need any aid, it doesn't need your candle. Is it that you're praying to God? When you're praying to God, you have to believe that he is, and he's a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. That means you have to know that God is listening to you. You have to have a vivid imagination that God is standing beside you, beside you, in front of you, anyhow you want to imagine him, but you have to imagine him vividly. And when you're having that conversation, imagine that he's hearing you. I'm telling you, because he is. So you have to help yourself with pictures. Okay? That's what will aid your faith. So faith does not need any, it doesn't need candles, it doesn't need observing the elements, you know. While you are observing elements, we we are talking to elements. The Bible tells us the sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. If there's a prayer in the Bible that says that the sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night, the sun, the moon can should not smite you in the night. This is a prayer against something that the moon can do against you, and yet you are putting your water under the moon light so that you will drink it. Is that not prayer that you're supposed to do? It's not like this prayer is telling us that a moon, the moon can give you something negative. And you see, it's a hint that the moon can give you negative something negative, but you are going to get something from the moon. It's strange. Okay, because all these things are embedded in witchcraft. These are like witchcraft practices, you know, that were taken out, and then then you mix witchcraft practices with saying you are worshiping, you are praying to God. No wonder God does not even answer. You do all of those things and God is not answering, God is just looking at you like this because that's not his method. You know, it's only when you are worshipping other idols that's the method that they ask for, you know, red candles, black candles, white candles, and all of those things. I don't even think I've ever seen a red candle or a black candle in my life before. Come to think of it, anyways. The Bible does mention something that faith needs as an aid. And what is that thing? The only aid that the Bible requires, that faith needs, is found in First Timothy chapter 1, verse 19. Having faith and what a good conscience, which some have rejected concerning the faith, and they have suffered shipwreck. So you're seeing Paul in this in this scripture telling Timothy on telling him the importance of holding on to faith and for him to maintain a good conscience. And I told you what a good conscience is. A good conscience is co-perception. Let me break it, break this down for you again. The word conscience, right? You already know, is the voice of your spirit on its own. Conscience is the voice of your spirit. When your conscience pricks you, is your spirit man telling you you did not do well? Do you get? As you're a Christian, your spirit is one with the spirit of God. So inside of you, we don't see the Holy Spirit and see you, we only see you, but that you is the Holy Spirit, and that you is you, the real you. That's why we say you're one with God. Are you hearing me? So that one spirit now has a voice. So when the voice comes to this realm, do you understand? When it comes where you're hearing the voice of your spirit in this realm, it comes as your conscience. So that's why you say my conscience pricked me. Is that you did something to stain or soil your conscience, your your spirit is not happy with it because your body can do crazy things, you know. Your body can do things that you you really don't want to. Do you understand? Like your spirit doesn't want to, and then your body does craves for it. You know, say you're fasting and then you break your fast quiet, and you started fasting and you couldn't even do up to three hours, and you've gone to eat your eat food, and then you start to feel bad about it because now your prayer time, you know, is extended again. Do you get that kind of situation now? Your conscience is pricked, you know. You're like, do you get? Now that's your conscience is one. Remember, I told you the voice of your conscience many times is also the voice of the spirit because the spirit will only talk to you through your your spirit man, right? And when your spirit man speaks to you, that's your conscience. Now, as your conscience is one with God, it's not all the time that your conscience knows everything that is supposed to, so you have to do extra work, spiritual work of prayer or fasting, or even seeking the things of God for you to be able to get a picture from God, from the Holy Spirit in you. When you grab that picture, we now call it co-perception. Do you understand now? So that means you're not just looking at the things around you. So if you look at the things around you, if you're a woman and you have five children, but you desire to be married, and you're wondering, and you're living in you know an African country and you know how Africans behave, and you're like five children, African country. This, if you look at your environment and look at the things around you, it looks impossible that you can be married again with five children, even probably in a month's time. Okay, but if you look in the eyes of the spirit and you can do the inner work and go back and get co-perception with God, you'll now find out that you are already accepted, you are already beloved, and God has set the solitary in a family. And the moment you can latch onto that picture and you hold it, holding it with faith. Do you understand? Having faith and a good conscience, that great picture, that co-perception with God, you hold it. What will happen? You will not suffer shipwreck within a month's time. God will do it. Even without you having any hope of any kind, God will do it. So that's why I'm saying faith's true aid is for you to cultivate and maintain co-perception with God. That is the only help you can help your faith. That's the only aid. Without that help, that true aid of faith, your faith will make shipwreck. You'll be making confessions, you'll be making confessions off the top of your head. That's all you are doing. And the things are not happening. You're like, I've been making confession, I've been making confessions, not working. You need to go with co-perception. And I've told you that co-perception is just it's not just some random thing. God has to show you a picture of your life. You have to do the inner work. That's what all this series is about. It's for you to do the inner work to get the picture, okay? So that when you get the picture, you become conscious of who God says you are, what God says you can do, and what God says you have. Do you understand? Once you have this consciousness, then you can now speak words of faith to change your circumstances. And when you speak like that, there is nothing that will not shake. You will receive tangible results. So it is consciousness that makes your faith productive, it is co-perception that makes your faith productive. This means that the bulk of your faith work should be dedicated to developing co-perception with God. This is deep spiritual wisdom. This is bone. So you need to learn more. So many of the things that you see here, maybe somebody say, I've been praying for a long time. Maybe you've been praying in tongues for a very, very long time. You pray, let's say you say that in the next three months, I'm going to pray in tongues six hours every day. You pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, six hours. You even do it one year. You don't even see the results you are looking for. What do you think is the matter? Because these things have been happening, especially with people being encouraged to pray in tongues. What do you think is the matter matter? Consciousness. That is the issue. It's consciousness, co-perception is missing. Because people that don't even pray in tongues, once they have consciousness of something, they can sit down and I've seen, I mean, new age people practice these things. So they sit down and they have a picture, they create a picture in their mind, and then they have that picture so vivid day in, day out, day in, day out. Then they begin to say the things that they are seeing, and they see the results, and they were not praying in the name of Jesus. That's why I told you that this has nothing to do with praying in you know in tongues for long periods of time. Praying in tongues has its own work, which is that you will build capacity, you will increase in capacity. It will help you in many things. Do you understand? It will help you change your address in the spirit when you pray in tongues. You build yourself up on your most holy faith. Praying in tongues helps you to build your faith, which is very, very important. But when it comes to realization of your faith, co-perception is very important. Consciousness is very important. So the bulk of your faith work should be dedicated to developing consciousness or co-perception with God. All right. A good conscience, there's something, there's such a thing as a good conscience and a bad conscience. A good conscience is one that is clear, free from guilt or wrongdoing. Why? Because of the blood of Jesus. Not because you you were thinking, calculating how you were not going to be to do anything bad. No, but because of the blood of Jesus. You may have made mistakes, but a good conscience would keep the picture of the blood of Jesus. That the blood of Jesus, what the blood of Jesus did on the cross for me, the covenant in the blood of Jesus, that is a good conscience. So that no matter what you are accused of, whether it is your heart that is accusing you, or there are strangers that accuse you, or Satan that is accusing you, you always have a picture of a redeemed man. That's a good conscience. So this is very important for you to be able to make sound moral decisions and for you to live a life that is pleasing to God. If you have never had a consciousness of you being a good person, you will never be a good person. I'm telling you, you have to start there first and speak it before you become it. What human beings, what we try to do is that we try to be it first, to try to do it first before becoming. But the method is that you have to become first before you can do. Do you see? So your focus is for you to be able to do it. Joshua chapter 1, verse 8 gives us a very clear picture now. He says, This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night. He says, when you start meditation and you start to do this meditation, what will happen? You are the one that will make your way prosperous and you will have good success. If you want to be a more loving person, you have to become conscious of it, you have to speak it before you actually see it. So a good conscience will acknowledge the transformative work of Jesus' blood. Affirm that you are blameless before God, and if you embrace this co-perception, you would recognize yourself as God sees you. That's how you see yourself. You see yourself empowered, you see yourself accepted, you will see yourself equipped to fulfill his purpose. And as long as you can see yourself like this, you will become everything that you ever imagined yourself to be. If you've never seen yourself, if you say, Oh, you have aspirations and you have dreams and aspirations and all that, all of that, and you have never seen yourself like a picture, a clear picture of that, you will never become it. So that's why I'm telling you, you have to have those pictures of God. And if you don't have it yet, you have to go. Your first step is to go and get the pictures of God. If you already have it, you need to set out time. What does the Bible say? Meditate day and night. So you set out time to do meditation. So I know that Joshua chapter 1, verse 8 is usually interpreted as mount meditation. But you see, how is meditation even meditation without pictures? The first level is for you to understand is that meditation is about speaking when it comes to Christians, right? It's about speaking, but then don't speak without pictures. So before you even start to speak, you need to create the scenarios in your mind. You have to create the scenarios. And then when you have the scenarios, begin to speak the scenarios. And the more you're seeing it, the more you're speaking, rearrange the scenarios in your mind to match the perfect picture. Keep rearranging until you have the perfect clear picture and keep saying it. Holding that scenario in your mind, you will see it come to pass.
