SPEAKER_00Hello and welcome back to DIY Salvation. Last episode we talked about the persecutor within. And that episode ended with the statement that the speech of the conscience of the old man and the speech of the conscience of the new man are significantly different. If you are new here, and this is the first time you're listening to DIY Salvation, we have been discussing co-perception. Co-perception is something that you need to have as a Christian for your faith to not make shipwreck. That's what we've been discussing from the beginning of the year. How to work better by faith by enhancing or improving your co-perception. Okay, so we've had a lot of topics on that co-perception, and we finally started going deeper and we started talking about the inner man, the inward man. Okay. And so we talked about the fact that the conscience is the voice of the spirit. And then we said that okay, man is tripartite. Man is tripartite, he is a spirit, he has a soul and he lives in a body. Okay, and that we also said that the spirit you the spirit you is humanoid in form, and just like your physical body is humanoid in form, and that's the reason why the spirit you can fill up this humanoid body. In fact, this humanoid body was created this way because of the image of the spirit you. So that's where we were. So we now got to the point where we said that the voice of the spirit is called your conscience, while the voice of your soul is your human reasoning, and your normal voice, the one you're hearing me speak with you right now, is the voice of my physical body. Okay, then we said that the speech of the conscience of the old man, that there is a difference between the old man and the new man. We said the old man in it's the person who is not born again. That's the spirit you that has not been saved. But the moment you're saved, you have what we call the new man. Okay, so we now said that the voice of the conscience of the man who is not saved, it's very different from the voice of the conscience of the man who is saved. Then we said that the speech of the conscience of the old man will consist mainly, and all these things are in the Bible, of accusations and excuses. So the voice of the conscience of the old man will always make accusations or make excuses. Remember, the conscience of the old man is one with the nature of sin, with the sin nature. So he knows nothing else to do but to accuse you. And I said that if you as a Christian, well, you say you're a Christian, and you still have situations where your spirit man or your conscience pricks you and accuses you, and is always making you feel guilty, you're guilty from the inside. That is a sign that it's either you are not comp you're born, you're not born again, really, and that means you need to give your life to Christ again, or the fact that you have allowed the conscience of the sin nature to take over when you were supposed to banish it, that also means that it's a sign to your spiritual growth that you're really not growing. And I said that an example would be most narcissists that struggle a lot with shame, and yet they don't even change from their weasel, they struggle with shame, they do a lot of nasty things to people, they know what they're doing, and they struggle with shame, they can't sleep at night, and yet they continue doing it. So the voice of the speech of the conscience of the old man will consist mainly of accusations and excusals or approvals and reprovals, which is more of justification, justifying the the things that they've done, even when it's evil, they're justifying themselves. Okay, so that's what we said, but now there's a difference. Today we are going to be talking about the inward witness, and the inward weakness is the voice of the conscience of the new man, the inward witness, the voice of the conscience of the old man was the persecutor within, always accusing or excusing, approving or reproving. But the voice of the conscience of the new man is called the inward witness. Our key scripture is taken from Romans chapter 2 from and verse 15b. It says, Their conscience also bearing witness. You remember when we're talking about the prosecutor within, we talked about the story of the woman who was caught in adultery, and they brought her to Jesus to judge. And Jesus said, Whoever amongst you is without sin should cast the first stone. And the Bible records that their conscience did what? Convicted them. So you can see that because they are they had the old man, their conscience became their persecutor and convicted them. And because they were all convicted of their sins, what did they do? They dropped the stones and they did not stone her. And Jesus said to her, which God said to her, She said, He said to her, Go and sin no more. Now, the inward witness is the conscience of the new man. And what does the inch uh the conscience of the new man do? Romans chapter 2, verse 15b says, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts, the meanwhile accusing or else excusing one another. Wow, we see we see a shift now. You know, there's a very difference, there's a big difference now in this because we see a shift. We see that for the inward witness, the the inward witness, the conscience of the new man, right, what does he do? He bears witness, is what the Bible with the New Testament calls the inward witness. He bears witness, but there's a catch. He says that although the inward man bears witness, that's the thoughts of that person, meanwhile, does the accusing or else excusing, which is just justification, one another. Do you get now? And I'm I'm going to get to that. I'm going to explain. So, like I said, the speech of the new man does only one thing, it bears witness to witness. If you're born again, you're a Christian. Your conscience is no longer supposed to persecute you. Right? What we are seeing in this scripture, your conscience is no longer supposed to convict you or prick you. Ideally, you have the mind of Christ. Are you getting? There is therefore now no condemnation for them who are in Christ Jesus. So there's nobody who is convicting you. There's nobody, the blood of Jesus has already cleansed you from all sin. So ideally, that should not even happen. I told you, if that is happening with you, you need to check your salvation. Otherwise, you need to evict the sin nature. Okay? If you're sure you're born again, if you're not sure you're born again, you need to go on. That's an indication that you're not saved. Okay. But if you're not, if you're sure that you're born again, then evict the old man, the sin nature, rather, evict the sin nature. Okay. So the conscience of the new man right now is no longer supposed to persecute you, it is rather supposed to do what? Bear witness. The phrase to bear witness is a greek comes from a Greek root, right? And it means to testify jointly, to testify together. It means a corroboration. Okay? Corroboration by what? Concurrent evidence. It means to testify unto, bear witness. You know what it means now. It means to bear witness together with, in other words, to be a joint witness with someone. Joint witness. It's not just you now, it's not just for you to be alone. It's the word expands to bearing witness jointly with someone is joint witnessing. Now let me tell you something. Remember when we talked about the prosecutor within? We started by saying that the prosecutor within is actually a legal term. A prosecutor is a legal term. A witness also is a legal term. To bear witness is also a legal term. In law, to bear witness means that you have to provide testimony or evidence regarding facts or events that are relevant to a particular legal proceeding. So when you're bearing witness, you are offering your first hand experience or your first hand account or your knowledge of what you have seen, you have heard, or you have experienced. And this testimony is usually given under oath. All right. Typically, of course, in the court of law and typically during a legal deposition, right? And it is intended to help establish the truths of the facts of a case. So witnesses generally play a crucial role in legal proceedings because after you've done the first preliminary proceedings, the next thing you start to do is to call your witnesses to be able to strengthen or to challenge the claims or the defenses of the parties that are involved, right? So now let me tell you something. This is very, very important, and this is key. In a legal proceeding, joint testimonies where multiple witnesses, two witnesses testify together, it is typically not accepted. Each witness is usually required to provide their own personal testimony individually to ensure that their statements are independent and they are not influenced by others. Do you get? So this would help to maintain the integrity of the proceedings or the integrity of the testimony of the person who is testifying, and it will give more room for thorough examination of each witness's account because immediately after a witness bears witness or he has given his testimony, what happens next? There is what we call a cross-examination, okay? Where the lawyer, on the other hand, will now come and start to try to punch holes in the testimony that he has given. And if he's unable to punch holes, he will start to, you know, maybe attack his character, character evidence, or he will start to attack his qualifications, whether he's qualified to be able to give such an evidence and so on and so forth. Okay? So the testimony of a witness is very, very important. But in some specific circumstances, even if joint testimonies are not allowed generally, some specific circumstances allows joint testimony or a collaborative testimony, which could it could also be permitted. Why? These testimonies are given under certain strict conditions, and of course, with appropriate safeguards in place, for example, if a child is being is giving a testimony and it is the child has to give a testimony. Do you understand? If it's a test, it's a case involving children or involving vulnerable individuals, then they have to, the courts may allow this, may permit this under certain conditions that will protect them or keep them, you know, and also not just protect them, but also to maintain the integrity of the information that is given. Okay? Now, this is very interesting. Why? Because the Bible tells us that the work of the conscience of the regenerated man, if you're born again, the work of your conscience right now is to bear witness, not alone, but like a child, you can only bear joint witness. Can you believe it? So for a joint witness to be admissible in court, the testimonies of both the witnesses, both of them, must corroborate, it must align. For it to be admissible in court, they have to be saying exactly the same thing together. So the first question now is who is your conscience bearing witness to? Or another way to put this is that who is the other party that is joint witnessing with your conscience? Number one, Romans chapter 2, from verse 14 to 15a. It tells us that your conscience bears witness with the word of God that is already written in your hearts. Wow. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these having not the law are a law unto themselves, which show the work of the law written the second person whom your conscience bears witness with is the Holy Spirit. Romans chapter 9, verse 1. I say the truth in Christ, I lie not. My conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost. So as a witness, your conscience plays a crucial role in your faith work. See, get this. This is the crux of the matter. Get it? Your conscience plays a crucial role in your faith work because you provide information that can either support or challenge the claims or defenses of God in your life. If your conscience is busy prosecuting you and you say you are a Christian, you must be one of those people who never have answers to your prayers. I'm telling you. Because you can't move past the guilt, so you are not able to receive anything from God. Every time you come to God, you are asking God for forgiveness. Every time you ask you come to God, you are not able to enjoy a proper love fellowship with God that is without problems, without issues, without God, I'm sorry, without oh God help me. You're not able to enjoy those things because your life is full of ups and downs and guilts and all manner of things. Do you see? So it's very important for you to understand that your conscience plays a crucial role. And that's why I'm telling you this, because the conscience is the voice of your spirit. And your voice, the voice of your spirit, has been speaking to you all this while, but you just didn't know how to either listen to your spirit or to be able to bring your spirit to be one with God so that it can manifest in your life presently. So, as you already know, God, through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, has given us so many good things, and not just that, he has so many good things to say about you. The reason is that Jesus has already paid the price. So you are like his spotless child. You're so precious to him, not because of yourself, but because of the love that he has for you. You know how you love somebody so much that they just look flawless to you, right? They look so flawless to you, they can do no wrong in your eyes. You get that is how God looks at you. Then if that person that you love starts to misbehave and starts to treat you badly, suddenly you look at them closely and you can't see the beauty anymore. Like you're confused. Like, how did I even love this person? Do you get? That's the same way. So God's love for you makes you so beautiful and precious in his eyes. Not just because of his love, but because his love even moved him to die for you. Do you understand? If you've invested so much in a relationship, you are the one that will value that relationship more. The people that don't value that invest less in a relationship are the ones that value the relationship less. They can easily walk away because what they they have nothing to lose, right? But if you invest so much in a relationship, you don't want to let it go. God invested, like God is a reckless lover, he loved us so much, so oh my goodness, so much that he gave up everything and came down to die. Do you understand what that means? Eller Leon, the most high God, came down, bent the heavens, came down and was born of a woman. And now allowed himself to be limited by this three-dimensional realm. And he would talk to some people that he created and they would insult him and they eventually killed him. And guess what? He did it because of love. What a reckless lover. You know that kind of person. If you have a spouse, right, and they call you that, you know, maybe people that you're owing money, and they say if you don't come now, we've kidnapped your spouse and all of that. If you don't come now, we're going to kill her and all of that. If you are not so reckless as to just anything you want, don't worry, anything you want, anything you want, that your love is not love at all. Do you understand? That your love is not love at all. There are men who they would rather that their wives be killed than for them to put themselves in in harm's way. That is not love at all. God was so reckless, he came down, he did it all for love. With that kind of love, do you think he has anything bad to say about you? About you? No, he has so many good things to say about you, but those things that he has to say about you, they are inadmissible in courts until you enter that dock with the Holy Spirit and with the word of God. You have to be armed with the word of God in your mouth. That's one. Two, you have to be there with the Holy Spirit, and you have to say the same things that the Holy Spirit is saying. So when you are on trial, when life circumstances are buffeting you, you are on trial, you are standing there with the Holy Ghost. In that moment, you have to say what God says about you. How bad is the situation that you are going through? How bad is it? Listen to me. God, you have to say what God says about you. You are who God says you are, you are a new creation. All things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new. You are an heir of God. Do you understand what that means? God Almighty, Ella Leon, who sits on the topmost floor of the skyscraper of reality, of the stacked dimensions of reality, him who inhabits eternity, that same God, do you understand? He's saying, testifying of you, and he's saying that you are an hair of God, you are his hair. How you in today, I when I thought about this today, I was meditating on this and it completely blew my mind. Like, how? How do you see me and say, I am your hair? That's who you are. You are who God says you are. You can do what God says you can do, and you have what God says you have. If you keep looking down at yourself, or maybe when you get a particular win, you look at yourself and then you feel as if you're having imposter syndrome. Like you're you are an imposter. No, you are not an imposter. Jesus died for you. Whoever is whispering to you that is an that you are an imposter is the imposter. He's not supposed to be with you in that dock. A victim instantly, immediately a victim. Do you understand? You are who God says you are. You can do what God says you can do. What does God say you can do? You can do all things, all things through Christ who strengthens you. So you can do everything as long as you can. Lean on the strength of Christ as long as you can. Stretch forth your hand and appropriate the strength of Christ for yourself. You can do all things. You need to have confidence. Do you understand? The word of God gives you so much confidence, and you have to keep listening to the word of God. So you are who God says you are, you can do what God says you can do, and you have what God says you have, you have overcome the world. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. Do you understand? Go and look for these verses of scriptures and say exactly what the Holy Spirit is saying. It is only joint testimonies that are admissible in the Supreme Court of the universe. Do you get it? You can't just stand in the court of the universe, the Supreme Court of the Universe, and come and give testimony where there's nobody backing you up. It is only joint testimonies. Even in the Old Testament, the prosecutor within did not just come on his own, he came with you. Do you get so even God respected that system because Satan was the prince of this world, and God had no choice but to respect the system until such a time when he bought back the world with the blood of Jesus, and now you need to have joint witnesses with him. You need to bear joint witnesses with the Lord over your life. Don't allow Satan to have a few days in your life. This entire world was made of words and is still being operated on thoughts and words. Do you know that? Do you know that? The entire of your entirety of your being is upon words and thoughts, and the words and thoughts of God. The only testimonies that are admissible in the Supreme Court of the universe are. Joint testimonies. Why? Because they testify of the sacrifice of Jesus. But before you even get to the point of joint testimony, you must have entered into the same perspective, the same perspective with your fellow witnesses. If you've ever had a case in court before, right? Before you go to witness to the witness standard for you, before you enter into the doc, your lawyer will say, Let us go over the case again. So your lawyer will begin to go, you have to rehash the details of the case if you remember. Then your lawyer will ask you questions, the same way he's going to ask you while you're in court, and then you begin to answer. And if there's any of your answers that are not good, he'll tell you, No, no, no, no, say this or say this and say that. You'll make the notes so that you'll be able to strengthen your case. You have to rehash it, right, with your lawyer. That's exactly what you need to do. Before you enter that dock, the times of your fellowship with God, the times of your Bible reading, the times of your prayers, the times of your confessions, you must have entered into the same perspective with your fellow witnesses so that your words will corroborate. It will be exactly the same. Do you understand? So that means you must have already entered a co-perception with them first. That co-perception is very important because it is only with this co-perception that you're able to speak with one voice while you are testifying. And this is only possible because of the establishment of the new covenant that took away your sin nature and gave us the Holy Spirit and enhances your spirit, man, with a new co perception so that your conscience can only now bear witness. Glory to God. In the next episode, I'm going to be talking to you about the new covenant. Stay tuned.
