Crime Scenes with Coffee Beans
The Night Caller - Eric Edgar Cooke
This episode takes us to the beautiful suburb of Perth, Western Australia, and between 1958 and 1963, locals and police were at the mercy of a brazen thief, who bounced from grand theft auto to breaking and entering. But all that changed on the morning of Australia Day, January, 1963, a gunshot rang out in the dead of night, that marked the start of a massacre, where no-one, no matter where they were, was safe.
But it didn't end when the perpetrator was arrested, as he confessed to more murders he was never suspected for and attempted murders which had left his victims horribly injured and impaired.
Join Belinda as she looks at the monster that is Australian serial killer Eric Edgar Cooke and his life of crime, murder and mayhem. A truly mind blowing case that is a must listen for true crime junkies.
*** WARNING - This episode discusses murder and interfering with a corpse. Listener discretion is advised.
