The day is 17th August 1991, and it's a sunny Saturday afternoon in the NSW suburb of Strathfield, and many are out taking advantage of the warm winter weather by shopping or catching up with friends at Strathfield Plaza.

Little did the shoppers enjoying a coffee in the popular 'The Coffee Pot' cafe know there was a wannabe killer amongst them, and he was ready to put his plan of mass murder into play.

What happened next, in 10 blood soaked minutes, would leave 7 innocent people dead, many more seriously injured, and a shocked and grieving nation asking why?
