The women of the Waterloo Warriors and their competition are proving that U Sports is developing elite talent for professional women's hockey.
In this episode we explore the significance of expanding opportunities for women in U Sports to reach the next level in hockey, challenging the perception that the NCAA is the only pathway to professional success. “Respect” features stories from players, coaches, and professionals positively impacting the growth of the women’s game.
Our inaugural show brings listeners to Waterloo, ON, Canada, the home of the University of Waterloo Warriors.
The Warriors are hosts to the nation's best this year. In March, the University of Waterloo will welcome the top eight teams in the country to compete at the 2025 U Sports Women's Hockey Championship.
