Joanna Zeng is the co-founder and CEO of SOON Network, a high-performance Layer 2 blockchain leveraging Solana’s Virtual Machine (SVM) to deliver modular, cross-chain scalability. Previously, she led business development at Aleo, Coinbase, and Optimism, focusing on zero-knowledge proofs and ecosystem growth. A former Wall Street currency trader, Joanna transitioned into crypto in 2017 and founded CryptoNYC, a developer community in New York. Under her leadership, SOON has launched multiple mainnets, processed over 32 million transactions, and raised $22 million through a community-driven funding model.
