Hi guys, welcome back to Full Surrender Podcast! 🤍
In today’s episode, we’re diving into James 1 and talking about something that sounds simple, but can be so difficult to actually live out: being quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.
Sometimes we’re so focused on making sure we’re heard that we forget to listen. Sometimes we react before we take a moment to think, pray, and ask God how we should respond.
James challenges us to look beyond just what we say and examine what’s happening in our hearts. What does our anger reveal? Are we actually listening to God? Are we putting His Word into practice, or are we just hearing it?
If you’ve ever struggled with reacting too quickly, saying things you wish you could take back, or simply slowing down enough to hear God, I think this episode will really speak to you.
My prayer is that this conversation encourages you to slow down, listen more, speak with wisdom, and surrender your reactions to God.
Thank you for being here and growing with me. 🤍
