Litter On The Breeze - A Suede Podcast

A sense of place and politics - with Hannah Fearn

Litter On The Breeze Productions Season 1 Episode 12

Litter On The Breeze - the podcast about the music, stories and the fans of Suede -  returns for a chat with none other than the current IBP Journalism Housing and Residential Property Journalist Of The Year, Hannah Fearn!  We talk about:

  • Getting in, getting out, and then getting really back in with our band
  • How her own upbringing seems to be reflected in many of Suede's lyrics
  • Whether or not we are right to apply 2025 present-mindedness to Bxxxpop,
  • If the band are more 'political' than it first might appear, and plenty of other things besides!

Show Notes:

  • Claire Gorham and Rachel Williams were of course also presenters of 'The Girlie Show'!
  • Namechecking Steps outside of a Manic Street Preachers (or Belle and Sebastian) podcast has to be worth something...!
  • (Apologies for the slight 'earthiness' of the audio at times - combination of ropey wi-fi and the back-up audio!)
