Don Vanderkooi - Norton Shores Fire Marshal

Safety in public places is something often taken for granted. Death and injury remind us that fire is an enemy that comes for us when we least expect it. This emergency is regularly avoided because local fire laws and the people who enforce them have our best interests top of mind, all the time.

We have unclogged aisles and exits that are available and well-marked through the efforts of a local Fire Marshal. Don Vanderkooi is beginning his new position in that capacity with the benefit of many years as a fire fighter. This experience hones his attention on our behalf in assuring that the proper fire prevention measures have and will be taken.
