SPEAKER_02

Good morning and welcome to Wednesday's episode of Trending. Right, we're going to start over in America with this quite interesting story to say the least. The headline is Top US counterterrorism official resigns over Iran War, urging Trump to quote, reverse course. Joe Kent, longtime Trump supporter and a very decorated veteran of the US military, has urged him to reverse his course. He posted this letter on X saying that Iran posed no immediate threat to the US, and this is the very interesting point, and claimed the administration started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. The White House dismissed the letter, of course, saying the president had compelling evidence that Iran was going to attack. That's uh Steve Whitcroft and um Jared Kushner's word, two ultra-Zionists, of course. Uh a US hate monitor accused Kent of anti-Semitic tropes. With his departure, Kent is the most high-profile figure within the Trump administration to publicly criticize the US-Israeli attack on Iran. Now it's very interesting, very interesting, because we're kind of led to believe that there's unity completely within the US government, US military, and all of that for this, when there isn't. There isn't at all. There's a lot of people that are bought and paid for, Trump being one, senators like Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, all these morons who are funded by AIPAC and the Israeli lobby that would absolutely support anything that Israel wants. But there's a lot in there that don't. And I'm not just talking about on the Democrat side, there's a lot in there that are around Trump's immediate circle who, or in Trump's immediate circle, who are very anti-war, or certainly their rhetoric over the years has been anti-war. And one person we've heard absolutely nothing from is Tulsi Gabbard. So Tulsi Gabbard obviously ran for president all those years ago on the premise of no more overseas regime change wars. She's now in in Trump's cabinet, and you hear nothing from her. So it's an interesting one, just to segue to her slightly, that you hear very little, given she kind of got that position off the back of that presidential run where she got a lot of popularity for being open and upfront about the fact she didn't want these wars, yet now she does. Bizarre. But this is very interesting because it just goes to show that there is cracks appearing. Left, right, and centre, there is cracks appearing. This isn't going the way that Trump thought it was going to go, I don't think. I think in his arrogance, he thought he was going to walk in and take over and they'd all back be back in time for dinner. Whereas instead they've got met with a lot of resistance. The fact that in Israel now it is punishable by in by imprisonment for you to video and take photographs of the damage from the Iranian retaliation. Well, that's not what you do if there's no damage to show. Clearly, there's a lot of damage to show, and they don't want people to see it. Same with the US bases across the region and the UAE and Qatar and Bahrain and so on that have been attacked. The fact that there's no pictures and no evidence coming out of damage of those, I would suggest there is a lot of damage in that case, then. And this has become more of a fight than perhaps Trump expected. Because if you look at the conflicts that he's started where he's thrown his weight around like the high school bully, he's gone into Venezuela with no resistance. He's handed weapons to Ukraine, no resistance. He's bombed in Syria, no resistance. He's set missiles off in Iraq with no resistance. So all of a sudden now he's getting some resistance. He's getting something back, he's getting consequences for the actions. No wonder he now wants to go and take over Cuba. As you'll see in this press conference, utterly embarrassing if you listen to this comment.

SPEAKER_00

Taking Cuba. That's a big honor. Taking Cuba. Taking Cuba in some form, yeah. Taking Cuba. I mean, whether I free it, take it, I think I could do anything I want with it. You want to know the truth. They're a very uh weakened nation right now. I mean, who talks like that?

SPEAKER_02

I might take it. I might free it. I think I could take it very easy. I mean, it's like if a high school bully was talking like that, it's like talking about your some someone's lunch money. It's pathetic. And this man has got a nuclear a nuclear arsenal. And people somehow look at this man still as some kind of beacon of intelligence. Just take out the the rhetoric that you've heard that you might want to believe about breaking down the system and draining the swamp and all of that. Just take out that. Listen to all the other things he says, and also look at his actions. They are as system as you want. And things happen, and then it's now on to the next thing. So, you know, obviously a few weeks ago they went into Venezuela, illegally kidnapped the president, and chucked him into a jail, and that's all gone very quiet, obviously, because the Iran story has now taken front row seat. Or seat. And I'm sure there'll be something else to follow after this. I'm really, really shocked just at the cognitive dissidence and at the ignorance that people still have about the genuine intentions of this man. Because I understand being hoodwinked and wanting to believe that there is a saviour. I understand that. I understand that's why a lot of people follow religion in the same way, because they believe it gives them hope, it gives them some solace and some comfort that you're part of something bigger, which we are, we're just not part of something bigger, in my opinion, that requires a judgmental god who you have to impress, or you are destined to burn in the pits of hell. Equally, are there people in politics, are there people in positions of influence who probably do care? I'm sure there is. Law of averages, you've got to assume there's some, even if there's one. But politics corrupts people, and I imagine a lot of people went into politics with some quite genuine intentions. Not Trump, obviously, but some people at lower levels, who then realize that things are a lot easier when you take bungs, when you you you know give in to the lobby, when you don't say certain things, and they get corrupted. So it's hardly surprising that all we see is system-related events in terms of the furthering of this agenda. I mean, when you strip it back, what has Trump actually done to reverse the ultimate agenda to control humanity? What's he done? He's done another country ticked off the list, or two, if you include Venezuela, ticked off the list of the project for the American Century, just like Bush, just like Obama. He's handed over the keys to the AI oligarchs, he's handed over the keys to the Silicon Valley Giants, he's close with the the bond villain that is Elon Musk, the man pushing AI, the man pushing low-orbit satellites, he's ripped up the economy with tariffs, he's chucked the geopolitical landscape of the world into an absolute chaotic ball of a mess. What has he actually done? So, for all those supporters out there that are still holding on to the hope that this man is the saviour, please dive into that question. What has this man actually done? You might argue he's done this, there, and that small things that might change a couple of bits. But in terms of the grand scale, the macro scale of the direction of the world, what's actually changed? The overseas wars and the AI agenda has actually been pushed significantly further under Trump than it was under Biden. Which ties into what we've spoken about a few times, which is if Biden had been doing what's being done now, there would have been pushback. Because people didn't trust him, people didn't trust the Democrats, but because people trust Trump, he's had got all this essentially all this stuff in the bank with people that they think, okay, I wouldn't have supported this, but because he's doing it, I'm behind it. You know, 5D, 6D chess or whatever the argument is. But just look at it with the cold, hard light of day. This man is a is an agenda pusher. He's a he's a he's a cult-owned gopher. But just to go back here to Joe Kent, you can almost guarantee there'll now be one of two things will happen. They'll either completely ignore this guy and not try and give him any airtime or any credibility, because they won't want people asking this question. They won't want people to think that somebody in a position of power and influence who would have access to certain information and therefore would have an informed opinion on whether Iran posed an imminent threat, they won't want this being widespread. They won't want this being discussed in pubs and bars and offices because people may land on the wrong side of the argument as far as the system goes and conclude actually, well, Iran didn't pose a threat. Because this is a war that nobody wants. This is the key. This is a war that nobody wants. If you go back to 2003, the opposition to the Iraq war was massive, the opposition to the Afghanistan invasion was massive. However, you had 9-11 in 2001, so you had a huge catalyzing and emotional event for people that, in a sense, in their minds, in a lot of people's minds, justified what came next, justified this war on terror. This war in Iran is a war nobody wants, and there's no catalyzing event for it. There's no justification in people's minds for why this should happen. Also, you have the public opinion of Israel at an all-time low because of what's happened in Gaza over the last few years. So, all in all, there's no support for this. Add in a high-level government official who would have access to the information that led to the invasion, coming out saying there was no threat, that's damning. That's incredibly damaging for the Trump regime. Incredibly damaging for this war in terms of public perception. So they may well just ignore him. In fact, if I was them, I probably would completely ignore him. The other alternative, because Trump has the biggest ego, I think, possibly in the world, is that he comes out and tries to destroy the guy. Comes out and calls him this, that, and the other, which you do when you're president of the United States, accuses him of X, Y, and Z, say he's crap, he's rubbish at his job, he's this, he's that. All of those things are very possible. I would personally suggest they'll probably just ignore him and try and sweep this under the carpet. Because you don't want to give attention to somebody who has information that can be damning to you. So well done to Joe Kent for standing up and speaking out and doing what you believe to be right. Don't know anything else about the guy. He might not be a nice man at all. But on this, he stood up for what he believes in, and you've got to respect that. Right, thank you for tuning in with me if you're watching with us on YouTube or Twitter. On iconic.com, we're gonna talk about some good news from Scotland, where the assisted dying bill has been rejected at Holyrood, which is fantastic. We're gonna talk about petrol rationing here in the UK. No one saw that coming. And we're gonna talk about the Children's Safety Bill, which is nothing more than a way of controlling how you raise your kids. I see you on iconic.

Don't mention the reptiles, Dave. Even less is said about the grey pocket, which some believe to be the true ruling power in the Vatican. All of them had little sickness. I've never seen it before. This is the ultimate suicide.

SPEAKER_03

The symbols around us every day are just ornamental.

SPEAKER_01

We have to find these.

What is their instruction?
