SPEAKER_00

Good morning, everybody, and welcome to Monday's episode of Trending. I hope you had a great weekend wherever you are in the world. Well, we're gonna start with a few stories here from the UK. Schools blasted for teaching seven-year-old kids that black people cannot be racist to white people. I mean, the headline alone sort of sums up the madness of the world that we live in here in 2026. It sums up the madness of identity politics, of groupthink, of judging people by the colour of their skin, uh, their ethnicity, their sexuality, all of those things as a prerequisite for their character, which for me is exactly what racism is, isn't it? As Martin Luther King famously said, he wanted to live in a world where his four kids were judged by the contents of their character, not the colour of their skin. Well, it seems we've gone a full 180 or a full 360, and in the name of anti-racism, we're back in a world that is racist because it is doing exactly that. My attitude towards any form of prejudice is that if you are judging anybody before you have spoken to them, before you know a single fact about that person, and you're judging them purely on their appearance, whether that be the colour of their skin, whether that be their ethnicity, whether that be the way they talk, whether that be their sexuality, how much money they have, what car they're driving, all those things that are used to divide people, then that's showing a form of prejudice. If you're speaking to somebody and making your judgment on that person based on them as a character, how they behave, how they speak to people, how they treat people, then you're but judging somebody and you're interacting with somebody based on their character, not based on any preconceived perception you have of somebody based on all those different factors I just explained. Whereas these anti-racist groups, these groups that claim to be all about inclusivity, do the exact opposite of that because they segment people based on all of those things that we've talked about. They don't look at somebody who's black or somebody who's white or somebody who's Muslim or somebody who's Jewish and base them and their opinion on that person based on how they interact with them. No, they do it based on the group think or the group that that person belongs to. And when you do that, you're judging an entire group, either positively or negatively, and individual character traits become completely forgotten. And we've spoken about this a few times on this program that in every single group of people in the world, you're gonna have nice people, people that are alright, and you're gonna have psychopathic characters in every single group. So when you're judging one group as good, one group as bad, based on the entire group, you're gonna completely lose the plot because as I say, there's good people, bad people, and lots of people somewhere in the middle in every single group. And if you're teaching children as young as seven years old that one particularly group one particular group cannot be prejudiced against another particular group, well that's ridiculous. Anyone can be prejudiced against anybody. So let's continue. Sheffield schools are teaching kids as young as seven that white people have privilege and that ra and they have racial privilege and that black people cannot be racist towards white people. Do you remember Mugabe's Zimbabwe? You know. You go to countries like South Africa now, and it's completely reversed. And both sides were wrong. Apartheid South Africa was absolutely disgraceful. But look at what you're seeing now, it's the same just the other way around. You know, segregation in America was absolutely disgusting. But then there'll be certain parts of inner cities in America now where if you go and you're white, it's incredibly dangerous for you. Whole communities you couldn't go into. And it's probably the same the other way around in certain parts of America as well, in particular. And other nations, I'm sure. So clearly both sides can be prejudiced against each other. It's not as black and white as it's being made out, is it? And the thing is, you are institutionalizing this now by teaching it to children. So you're teaching children as young as seven, and I'm gonna just use my own kids as a reference, who are a little bit younger than this, six and four, they don't see race, they don't see colour, kids don't. Kids will just play with whoever they want to play with, whoever's playing a game they want to join in, whoever's fun, whoever's doing something they want to they want to be a part of, they'll just play with them. All forms of hate and discrimination and prejudice are not innate, they are learned. And you're now putting into the minds of seven-year-old kids division. How do you think that's gonna manifest as they get older? Especially in a in a city like Sheffield, which is obviously gonna be very diverse. That's gonna manifest as division, isn't it? More and more. Those kids that weren't necessarily seeing colour and seeing that you know separation, now they are. And that does that's not gonna get better, is it? That's probably only gonna get worse. So I see two really dark sides to this. One is exactly one is what I've just said, which is you're creating this division and this perception of separation between someone who's white and someone who's black, when there probably wouldn't have been that there before, because as I say, kids just play with each other. Kids don't see those things. Those things are implanted by either parents who have prejudice themselves or by things they learn. They're not innate. No child, no baby is born wanting to discriminate against somebody who's born a different colour. That just doesn't happen. And the other side to it is you're teaching young white kids that they have some form of privilege. Well, in 2026, maybe there was a time they did, but right now, absolutely not. There'll be young kids, young white kids growing up in Sheffield in massive poverty, and there'll be young black kids growing up and young Asian kids growing up in poverty as well in that city and other cities, I'm sure. So who's getting the privilege there exactly? What is the privilege? You're also teaching young black kids and young uh minority children that they're a victim. What kind of message are you sending to that young child that they're a victim somehow? In the same way, what message are you sending to that young white kid that they're somehow prejudiced against them and they've got a privilege? It's disgraceful that you're implanting these kind of things in the in the heads of seven-year-old children. No wonder so many people are trying to get their kids out of the education system and trying to figure out ways to either homeschool or send them to independent schools and so on. It's disgraceful. Unfortunately, there has been quite a bit of pushback against this, where people are calling it political indoctrination, which is exactly what it is. Exactly what it is. So the lesson plans for this were devised by a teaching school alliance. Of course, they are think tanks. Most of the worst things come out of those. Allegedly led by Notre Dame High School, a government-designated national teaching school. God, it gets even worse, doesn't it? Reportedly aimed to empower students and teachers to challenge the unequal systems that surround us in society. Okay, unequal systems that surround us in society, right? Can you tell me for a fact then, the people that have put this this together, that every white kid in that school is in a more economic, economically strong position, has a better home life, and has better opportunities than every black child in that school. Can you tell me that? Well, obviously they can't because that's not going to be the case. Can you tell me a list of things that young white kids in that school can do that young minority children can't? Opportunities that are going to be afforded to those that are not going to be afforded to those. Once again, they can't because that doesn't exist. So what exactly what unequal systems surround us in society? Now I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, not saying that at all. I'm not saying prejudice doesn't exist. I'm saying that the way that the system is built, it amplifies it. So you see, for example, I'm a massive football fan, and you see racist idiots in football. Of course you do. And they will hone in and they will focus on one person in the crowd who's doing something stupid, making a stupid signal or shouting something stupid. What they won't show you is the 10 or 20 people around that person that are telling them to shut up, that are pointing out what they're doing is unacceptable. They don't highlight the 50,000 other people that are not doing that. They're hone in on that one to create more and more division. You're always gonna have idiots. You're always gonna have people that believe stupid things and believe they're somehow superior on both sides. You're always gonna have that. But this idea that this is a massive national and international thing that a lot of people believe is for me fantasy. Of course, as I said, there is idiots out there that somehow and some reason believe they are superior. But is that the majority? Is that anything like the majority? Is that even a percentage that is going to be noticeable on a graph? Not really. So that should be celebrated that most people in life just want to get on. Most people don't see colour, most people judge behavior, and kids in particular absolutely do that unless you indoctrinate them into seeing colour, seeing division and seeing separation. And that's exactly what policies like this in this school in Sheffield do. So if you're watching, if you're Sheffield-based, even if you're not, I'm sure there will be an online petition. I'm sure there'll be online pressure on this school. There's certainly been some pushback. Then let's make it more. Because if this is a teaching school, almost certainly this is some kind of trial, and this will be rolled out across other schools if this is something that doesn't receive pushback. So let's make sure it does. Because you can't be teaching kids this on both sides. Teaching young black kids they're victims is a disgrace, and teaching young white kids they have privilege when many of them will have far from that growing up in inner cities. It's disgraceful on both sides. And teachers that are pushing this, I think you should be ashamed of yourselves, I have to say. Right, we're going to continue on iconic.com, we're going to talk about AI. We're going to talk about law reforms, which include getting parents into trouble if their kids commit acts, which is a slippery, slippery slope to say the least. And we've got some great news coming next week here in the UK. I'll see you over on Iconic.
