Welcome to my channel. My name is Matt Walton and this is a Voda Talk with Matt Walton or at the real Matt Walton, depending on how you found me. And this channel exists to talk all things businesses, ministry or all things kingdom, business or all things scripture and tying that to business or tying that to life, or just getting into the depths of scripture, talking business strategy and talking how you can use your business as your ministry. God has put it on my heart to transform the way that business is done and to help people understand that your business is your ministry. And we, as business owners or people in the marketplace, have the most unique opportunity to advance the kingdom of Jesus Christ right now. And how we do that is using our business as our ministry, our bringing the church to our business by having a zero walls, a church without walls mentality, and by using every single gift or platform or thing that we have to further the gospel of Jesus Christ. And it just so happens to be for me within business. God has gifted me within that and has called me within business to change the way business is done and to help people understand that your business is your ministry. So what does this channel stand on. What are the topics that we're going to get into? And, of course, it's going to be all things scripture. I'm going to dive into scripture and I'm going to dive into the culture around scripture and the context that it was written into. We're going to do word studies and just do in-depth dive into the scriptures. But we're also going to get into business and using business as your ministry and tying scripture to all of that how you can operate a kingdom business. We're going to talk about systems, strategies, processes, how you can automate everything, relationships, leadership, how you can develop culture, everything. Business is what we're going to talk about and it's all going to be tied to scripture. So my promise to you is I'm going to put out content every single week, and this content is stuff that I am going to spend several hours preparing for every single week to make sure that, minute by minute, this is the most value that you will receive when you listen to podcasts. So that is my promise to you guys I'll put in all the work on my side. I will be upfront and honest with you of things that are working or are not working. Eventually, I'm going to provide some literature for you guys that whenever I talk about doing a strategic annual business plan, y'all will see an outline for that, so it's easy for you to apply.

But who am I? Why should you listen to me? Believe me, I understand. Whenever I scroll across people and I see people that are within my wheelhouse and doing some of these things, a lot of times I click right on through until I understand that this person has been there, done that and they have a certain level of accolades. So who am I? What have I done?

And number one, first and foremost, I am a servant to Jesus Christ and that is where I root myself, and that is where I root myself and that is where my identity is at. But I am also somebody that bought a business and that is a business owner, that is an entrepreneur that owns several businesses and that has seen significant growth, to the tune of 100 plus percent over the course of the last year. And I'm on track to get higher than tactics, the strategies, the processes that work for me. I'll go through the things that didn't work for me and why they didn't work. I'll go through how I double down on these things over here, the things that I track, all the KPIs and all of that stuff and what has led me from buying a business that was tanking, that was going under, to seeing it thrive now, to seeing it thrive now and to see, within the last year, triple the amount of people back in my shop and a hundred percent growth over the cross over the course of of my, my pool and manufacturing business.
