SPEAKER_02

That is good, isn't it? Has God been good to you this week? Amen. He's been so good to you that he got some stuff coming down the line that you don't even know about. I got one I believe in. Well, you should have grabbed that one. Uh-huh. Yeah. Yeah. He's got stuff. Hallelujah. Because God, you got, you know, God has been thinking about you. He's been thinking about you and me, and he's thinking, I gotta get it to him. I gotta get it to him. But sometimes he just can't get it till you get it till you. He's gotta wait till you can get into the proper state of mind to be able to receive it. The Bible says that we're gonna teach you. I'm gonna let me go here then, but I think he won't. The Bible says that he will not withhold any good thing from me. He said he won't do it. That's scripture. He's not alive. He said, I will not withhold any good thing from you. That means any good thing, he wanted to bring it past in my life. Maybe me asking the Lord, what's the good thing? Lord, I don't want the good thing with hell. I want to get the good thing, right? And we get the good thing or the good things through the process of working with God, uh, through partnering with God, or uh uh God partnering with us is really the case. He he partners with us, right? And did the things done uh that he wants to get done. So we've been we've been talking and discussing uh and preaching and teaching, uh talking about living in the now, the present time, the future time, living uh, glory to God, uh in a supernatural. And uh I noticed some of the things that as you begin to talk about and redirect your redirect thinking, or you begin to adjust thinking, not that thinking wasn't there present, but you begin to adjust thinking to be more uh more pacific in a in a way that uh uh things begin to change. Sometimes uh I've noticed in my life before, sometimes things get a little rougher, right? When you're making adjustments, things get a little rougher, but then they then after after you stay with the adjustment, they smooth out. Right? And so you have to be able to stay with the adjustment. So, what do I what am I saying? You have to be able to stay with the word that you have given and you have uh uh uh believed God for, even though things get a little rough, you have to stay with the word and stay with the word, because the word will cause the rough to become smooth. Right? But if you don't stay with the rough, you can never get on the other side to the smooth. You understand? So you have to, when the if we can use these way, when the fire gets hot, you have to stay in there and keep on your flame shield and smooth it on out and ride it on out. And so we've been talking about living in the now, glory to God, and so uh we talked about some different things on on last week. We talked about uh the born-again spirit, and y'all remember that? Amen. Glory to God. Talked about the born-again spirit that uh that uh puts us in position now to receive uh the things that this this book, this Bible that we read, puts us in position to receive the things that this Bible says, right? I I look at the Bible as a Bible, and uh some say basic, and that's correct too. Just say different things, uh, basic instructions before leaving earth. Amen. But I look at the Bible as a governmental system. It's how the kingdom of God wants believers to govern themselves, not from this earth-life perspective, but from a heavenly perspective. And so Jesus prayed over in the prayer, I believe they're in Matthew 6, he said, Pray that thy kingdom come and that thy will be done. And so the kingdom has already come, right? And the will of God is being done because the portion of God's will was that with people get saved, right? So we say that we have the born-again spirit living down on the inside of us. And that is the born-again spirit is the spirit that Adam had before he sinned. It wasn't called the born-again spirit, it's just God's spirit, right? But since we are born in sin and shaping in iniquity, then we have to be born again. We have to receive the spirit of God. We have to be first born into the earth, and then second, we have to receive the spirit of God, the born-again spirit of God, right? And you have to be uh the born-again spirit, and we talked about born because your birth is what gives you legal right to function in the things of God in the earth once you accept Christ. Your birth gives you right. Your body, or maybe I should say it that way. Your body is what the spirit of God comes into, and because you're human with the body, God can use you. His spirit does not go in anything else. The born-again spirit goes into human human bodies. Matter of fact, God felt so sincere and dear about this, he did it with Jesus. Right? And so Jesus had to be born. So the born-again spirit, and I think we got up to here, and we're gonna pick up again. We said the born-again spirit is the only true way you can over, you can, you, you can overcome Satan's tactics and his strategies. And we're looking, oh man, I'm sorry about that. I had a I had a paper with scripture on our post to give y'all. Amen, I'm gonna okay, and so let's look in John 16 and 33. Hallelujah. John 16 and and 30, John 16 and and 33. Amen. And so when we talk about the born-again spirit, uh uh, John here was writing, he said, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. So the born-again spirit in us is what allows us to overcome the world. He says, These things I've spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace, right? Might have peace, we might have uh peace. And then he says that be of good cheer. He said, Because I have overcome the world. Now there's no other system that has overcome the world, except the system of the kingdom. Overcome the world. He didn't say, I just overcame, you know, uh Jerusalem, or over Africa, or over Indonesia, or over Europe, or over America. He said, Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. What does this mean? This means that it does not it the place I go is irrelevant to God. He can go into a desert place and and cause stuff to happen that people wonder why happened. Because he says, I have overcome the world system, I have overcome the world way of operating. He says that he's overcome the world, our world, the cosmos. This is what the born-again spirit does on the inside of us, right? As we would, as we would listen, as we would allow him to guide us, it overcomes. He overcomes, excuse me, not it. He overcomes along with our support, the world. And he says, he says, he didn't say I'm gonna do it. He said I have. Right? I already have given us, I already have overcome the world. This means if I've overcome the world, you've overcome the world. Because greater is he that's in me than he that's where in the world. And he said, I've already overcome that. I've already overcome that. I've already done that. I don't need to do that again. I've done that already. Then took his spirit and he placed it down on the inside of us. Let's look at John uh the fifth chapter, uh, verses one through four. John five, verses one through four. I'm an overcomer. Not because my name is Jesse, but because I got Jesus. You've been overcomer. Not because of your biological, not because of our biological descent by which we came through parents, but we're overcomers because we're born again. After this, there was a feast of the Jews. And Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now, there at Jerusalem, by the sheep market, a pool, which is called in the Hebrew language Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great first John. Now we're in John, I won't be first John. First John, yeah. I'm reading that's a wait a minute, that ain't first John, first John. Yeah. First John. Did I say John? Okay, excuse me. First John. I was reading that. I said that. That ain't gonna run into what I'm trying to run into, but that one's good. Right? Right? Glory to God. 1 John 5, 1 through 4. Amen. That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled of the word of life. Oh, that's first, yeah, five. First John chapter 5, verse 1 through 4. Amen. There we go. I'm just gonna read them anyway, y'all. Go, go, glory to God. All right, we had to go through some, but we got there. Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. And everyone that loveth him that begot loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God. When we love God and keep his commandments. Anybody love God? We love God because he first loved us. Well, let me just take a minute. Whatever we do, or any anyone, what I believe that comes up here, everything is said through love and relationship. Right? So sometimes it might be a diff difficult, but it's said through love and relationship. Right? And it has an it has an intention to help whoever it goes out for, if it's received, has the ability to help. So we walk in love. He said we love God and keep his commandments. What did he say, keep his commandments? Keep his commandments, right? Right, that we love one another. Next verse. He said, For this is the love of God that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous.

SPEAKER_01

His commandments are not grievous.

SPEAKER_02

Glory to God. I remember when I first when I first got saved, somebody said long ago. Long ago. All right, they won't make sure we say long ago. When I first got saved, I was a little upset. Long ago. I was a little upset because I had got saved. Because I couldn't do some of the things that I still wanted to do. The key was I couldn't do them that I still wanted to do them because in my mind they weren't really bad things. Huh? I know it's strange for a preacher to hear that. But he says his commandments are not grievous. Now you can believe this or not, but some people think they are. Some people think his commandments are grievous, his waves are grievous. And they will be grievous. I'm gonna jump a little head to individuals who at that time I wasn't really transformed yet. I wasn't in the transformation process. But there are people, huh? I didn't understand. You know, it took some time. I gotta do what I gotta. No, no, he can't mean that. He can't expect me though. I mean, who he you know, you don't want to say all of it, right? You know, but anyway, but he says his commandments are not grievous. All right, next verse.

SPEAKER_01

Huh?

SPEAKER_02

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world. Now, the world, when we narrow it down, we can talk about situations in our lives that we are faced with. So we bring we bring the world down to our our sphere that we operate from and that operate in our our circle, right? Right? And so he said, you've you've you've overcome everything that's in your sphere, in your in your in your world that's affecting you. He said, Why have you overcome it? Because he's overcome it. For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith, right? So when we entered into this faith walk, this born-again walk with Christ Jesus, we overcame the world. Regardless if we live in it, if we function in it, if we operate in it, regardless of anything, says, he says that you've overcome it because I'm in you. Huh? You overcome whatever it is, you've overcome it. Sickness, poverty, lack, social relationships, all of that from God's word and more, all of that from God's word, he said we're all we have overcome it. Because he said, You've been born of God. Right? We've been we've been born of God. We have to take that a little bit uh more, maybe more serious than maybe we've taken in the past. Wait a minute, I'm born of God. I don't have to take this. Some things you don't have to take, some things you have to walk through and deal with. You have to decide which one is what. But I'm born of God. I'm born of God. And that's verse number, verse number four. Okay, all right, all right. So when we look at uh uh uh the scripture, uh, we're born of God. I man, I'm trying to really hit that really high. Born of God. I'm saved. When you go out into the world and you say you're a Christian, you say saved, then people know a little bit about that. They expect you to function differently. And as soon as, as you as soon as you get out of their expectation of how you're supposed to function, they let you know by this one phrase. I thought you was a Christian. Because they understand that if you've been born of God, something's supposed to be different. And so when you don't operate or function that way according to their perspective, and of course, sometimes their perspective is wrong. Their perspective is that because you are a Christian, you can never mess up. And that it's coming from that. But but they know that there's something different. Once you release that word Christian, once you release that word, I'm saved. Once you say, I love Jesus, and you mess up. I thought you said you love Jesus. Because all of that is in their uh is in their way of thinking, their mentality, that you're different. That's why, even sometimes in churches, we you know, this thing called church hurt. Because when people come to church, they don't expect to get hurt. They expect it's supposed to be something different in the church than what they would get in the world. That's an expectation that they have. And so when they when they when they're damaged, when they're hurt in church, then that leaves a taste in their mouth that them people in the church, they just hypocrites. They ain't no better than the world. You see, uh, that's the process because in the church, they don't expect for things to happen, happen. In the church, they kind of consider the church as a safe place. Supposed to be safe anyway. But sometimes it's not always that way. So he says, for whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, and this is the victory. Victory and not defeat. And this is the victory that we owe that overcometh the world, even our faith. What is our faith? Our faith is what we believe, what we live by, what we stand on, what what we walk in, our faith determines what we say, or should determine what we say and how we act. Amen. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Let's look at uh Romans 8 and 16. Romans 8 and 16. The born-again spirit is so prevalent in our lives, so prevalent in our lives. It's so uh in a way that God has lived in us and a God has uh uh uh put this thing together, right? He says here in Romans 8 and 16, he says, the spirit got a capital S there, so that's supposed to. Mean he's talking about the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit. That means that the Spirit of God, uh, the born-again spirit now, is on the inside of you and has been uh infused into your own spirit, your own way of functioning and operating, that we are what? Children of God. So nowadays, that name God, we can kind of use that so loosely that uh kind of have took the power and the authority out of it. But he said the spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, bears witness with what? The born-again spirit. See, we have the spirit of God, and God's spirit bears with the the with our spirit that we have, that we are the children of God, we're children of God. God, that means that God is our father. Huh? He's not only our father, but Jesus is our advocate and our counselor that we live by and that we function in. So if I'm going to live in the now, I'm gonna have to be able to function now in the way that he has set up and he has established for me to function in. Because the spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the son of God. Now, I need, I need, we really have to get a revelation on that. The son of God. You really have to get deeper understanding. You know, we it's Jesus was the son of God, but you know, right here he says that we are the children or we are the son of God. So we really need a revelation on being the child of God. Because as we get revelation on the child of God, we begin to understand now how there's really nothing in this world that can overcome us. There's really nothing in this world that can overtake us. Right? We don't have to bow down or subject ourselves to things of this world that are ungodly. Amen. Things of this world that that's ungodly. We don't have to bend or move off of what the word of God says because the some because something is going on in the world. Our dependency, our trust, and our faith is in God. I'm a child of God. And God, being a child of God, God helps all his children. Even sometimes, no matter how bad they mess up. If the person could help recover themselves, God will recover them. But a lot of times the person don't want to help recover themselves. In their mind, in their concepts, they messed up so bad that, you know, I can't even get my, I can't even see myself coming out of what I was in. But God will recover anybody and everybody that wants to be recovered, regardless of what you did. And that's and that's basically that's basically what he did through salvation. He recovered anybody and everybody that wanted to be recovered out of their sins. The powerful thing about the Spirit of God and the anointing of God is that he has no prejudice. I know they think they saved, but they can't be.

SPEAKER_01

Right? Right?

SPEAKER_02

It don't matter the background. What you done. I heard some guys that were devil worshippers. I mean, they they said we did some stuff. I'm mad that he did. Somebody told them about Jesus. They told him about Jesus and used one word Jesus loves you. And the guy said, I can't I couldn't get past that. He said, He said, when he said that and they released that word love to me, he said, I just couldn't get past it. It bothered me and it bothered me. And he said, Nothing had really bothered me before. That's how deep in he was. He said, Nothing had really bothered me before. But this person told me and and and that they that God loves them. And then I think he said that they gave him a hug, and he said, from that point, he said, I can't get him past it. Gave his life to Christ and begin to tell his story of what God brought him out of. Doesn't matter what you've been in, what I've been in, doesn't matter what you've done and what I've done. If you let the born-again spirit get in you in the right way, glory to God, you coming out because he said that he has overcome the world. And there's glory to God. The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit uh that we are children of God. We just not in any old thing. The Bible says that the children of God are seated together with him in heavenly places. Hmm. That's not any old thing, just not any old body, just not just not something. You know, you act like you just throw yourself, throw yourself away. I know they sung that song. I'm a nobody, but you ain't a nobody. You somebody. You a child of God. You a child of the king. We're God's children. And because we're God's children, we can live by his spirit in the now. Glory to God. Boy, that ain't revelating on the inside, on the inside of me. We can live by his spirit. No matter what comes, we can rise up no matter what shows up. You don't have to be mad at nobody but the devil. And you ought to stay mad at him. You ought to stay mad at him. He ought to know when he tried to bring something your way, uh, he's gonna have consequences. Yeah. Because I'm a child of God. You a child of God. There are gonna be some consequences that his kingdom is gonna have to pay. And we, we, we, we, we sometimes, why am I going? We sometimes so just letting the enemy do what he wants to do. He he wearing you out. Boy, but you ought to stand up on your feet, put on your best clothes, and stand in front of your mirror and say, wait a minute, I'm a child of God. My God loves me, and I'm putting this to a stop right now. The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. When you say that, it ought to bring a smile to your face. Glory to God, it ought to bring a smile to your face. Let's look at uh Ephesians, the fourth chapter and the 23rd verse, Ephesians 4 and 23. Because having the born-again spirit and being a child of God doesn't necessarily make things automatic. Doesn't make necessarily make things automatic. Because when you understand that you got soul, you got so you got saved, your spirit man got saved. But your flesh or your soulish rim, ah, glory to God. Huh? He didn't get, it didn't get, whatever you want to call it, it didn't get saved. Right? You see, it didn't get saved, and this is some of the problem, some of the struggle that comes out because the enemy know you got the spirit of Christ in you, but he also know I didn't know nothing about it. He also knew that. And so he, and we say grievous, he brings faults to make you feel like when you got saved, you lost something. I didn't know that then, but I know that now. And that's why I felt a little grievous. Because I thought I had lost something and didn't realize how much I had gained. Glory to God. Glory to God. And so this the the soulless man doesn't get saved. I mean, I'm sure he did, I'm sure he knows that's something now. He's aware that's something now, and he's aware that what's there can overcome him. And so what it what he wants to do along with his progress is keep you in line with what you've been doing. Right? Right, right, hallelujah. The scripture says, I'm crucified with Christ, nevertheless I I live, but it's the Christ that lives where in me. Right? So when Paul was saying this, he was talking, even though in Romans Paul still had some issues going on, he was talking about him realizing that there is two entities in him. That the flesh entity is still present, and the spirit of God entity now resides on the inside. Glory to God. And so the believer has to determine who's gonna rule or who's gonna reign in their life. Dr. Charles Barclay. He makes this statement. One is curse, and one is blessed. One I love, the other I hate. But the one I see will dominate. There is two entities that lives in my chest. One I love and one I hate. But the one I feel predominate. And so when we say that and we talk about that, what we're talking about is coming into the mind has to be renewed. Right. The mind has to be renewed. Without mind renewal, I will continue uh living in the body of Christ. I will continue living with the born-again spirit on the inside of me. But without a renewed mind, I would not, uh it makes it difficult for me to access uh the things and to live in or by the things of God. So in Ephesians 4 and 23, he says, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. When he talks about and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, he's talking about in in attitudes, in motives, in decisions, in things that are not touched. You can't touch physically, right? So when he said be renewed in the spirit of your mind, he's talking about transforming the way I think. Transforming what I believe if I'm gonna live in the now. I'm gonna have to transform the way I think. If I think my dependency is in my job, I have to transform that thinking. Nothing wrong with having a job, but I need to give God right to be my only source. So my thinking has to be transformed. If I think I have the right to uh uh dislike people, the right to talk about people, the right to gossip, then my attitude and my mind in that area has to be transformed into the likeness and an image of Christ. I cannot live by my own worldly ideas and concepts and then expect God to work in the midst of things because my mind is not renewed. My mind has to get renewed in all of the uh areas that I live by and I walk in. Without mind renewal, I just gotta say it, it's gonna be difficult to live a spiritual life.

SPEAKER_01

It's gonna be very difficult to live a spiritual life because this world is gonna shoot something at you. This world is gonna bring something at you.

SPEAKER_02

And God, with his Holy Spirit living down on the inside of me, he equips me to be able to live and to be able to walk in the things of God. So my mind has to be renewed. My thinking has to be renewed because my thinking didn't get saved, right? My thinking is a part of my soulish realm. Right? My will, my uh my uh will, uh, mind, emotions, intellect, all of those five components of the soul. And even though you get saved, the spirit of God uh initially, and not only just initially, operates through those things because those components were given by God for the use of God. We just misused them. So the mind, the will, the imagination, the emotion, the intellect, all of that was given by God. Satan didn't give any of that. Now, when Adam came in, uh when sin came in, Satan perverted the how the soulish realm is supposed to operate, right? Satan perverted that, but God created and made it all. Right? Didn't come from the devil. The devil can't create nothing. Only thing he does is take what God had did and and and pervert it. So you really you can't really count out your soul as real. Well, you can't count it out. Because it's the part that God has given you, and God didn't tell you decided to cut it out, he said renew it. I just wish I wouldn't think this way. Okay, that's that's good. Wishing is good, but what you're gonna have to do is renew it. And if you renew that area, you won't think that way.

SPEAKER_01

The only problem is it hadn't been renewed, hadn't been transformed, right?

SPEAKER_02

Right, like like Romans 12 and 2 says, Be ye transformed, be not conformed to this world. He's talking about the system, the way of operating, the thinking, the what happened. He's talking about all that stuff. Be not conformed to this world, but he says, be ye what by the renewing of your mind. Right? So he said, Be ye tranquil. So how do I transform? I gotta take the word. I gotta listen at the word, I gotta hear the word, I gotta take it in, even the parts I don't like. I know you might, I know I might not like forgiving my enemy, but I gotta take that in. Because he said, forgive your enemy. He said, pray for them. Right? I know I might not want to pray for them, and even do pray for him. I don't pray that long. Glory to God. Huh? So the renewing of the mind says that now it becomes a service for me to them to pray for my enemy. And when God prayed for them, then God gets involved. Glory to God. Hallelujah. So he said, by the renewing of your mind. And so if the if the mind is not renewed in an area, it will keep doing the same thing. No matter how bad you want something different, no matter how bad you fail because you cursed them out. If you don't renew it with something else, when you come under that level of stress again, it'll do the same thing. Because you're not renewed. When it gets renewed, it'll do something different. But when it gets when it gets renewed, you'll be able to hear the spirit say, all right, don't say nothing. And then you abide in what he says. Because even in other times, the spirit said, Don't say nothing. You just overruled it. But the renewed mind knows that I don't overrule the spirit when he speaks to me. I'll back off and do what he says. If I overruled him, I'll wind up in that same boat again. Oh, glory to God. So the believer mind has to be renewed and it has to be uh transformed, and he says he'll transform it into the likeness and in the image of Christ. So I can wonder why certain behavior keeps happening, is because what is telling me I'm not transformed, at least enough in that area to prevent it from happening.

SPEAKER_01

Everyone has to go through the same process.

SPEAKER_02

I know we all love God, and we all believe that we're special to God. Right? But God, God don't violate what he said or the way the process works, just simply because I believe I'm His His special one. You special one, you're gonna have to go through it too. You got to go, and what I mean by go through it, go through the process. The Bible says that Jesus, he overcame by the things he suffered. Now, so when you're overcoming thoughts, you're really doing the same thing Jesus did. When you're overcoming and when you transform it, you you're overcoming sometimes you have to suffer. Suffering means sometimes you gotta turn the TV off. Okay, we got to just bring it home. Suffering means sometimes something we want to do, we can't do because he wants us to do something else. Right? He overcame, he overcame by the things he suffered, by the things he laid on the table and wouldn't do, so that he'll be able to fulfill the plan and the purpose that God had him to do. And so when Jesus got to the end of his life in the garden, and he said, Let this cup pass from me. Not your will, Father, but my will be done. If the mind is not renewed, you'll never get to that point. Jesus was the word of God, but he has equipped us to overcome and be renewed in the spirit. You know, see, he didn't say be and and be renewed in in something else. He said, be re and be renewed in the spirit. Let's let's go up to verse 24 because it's that's kind of like we're jumping in the middle of something. And we're gonna get ready to close here. 22. 20 20. Go to 22, and then we'll come back down. Uh uh, we still gonna leave a lot a lot off, but I think we can work right here. Come on, Holy Spirit. That ye put off concerning the formal conversations, the old man, which is corrupt according to deceitful lust. Now, no matter what you think about your old man, he corrupt. Somebody say he a mess. He corrupt. Hmm, glory to God that he put off concerning the formal conversations the old man, which is corrupt according to deceitful lust. Next verse, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, right? So he says, he says, all of the thinking that I have before I came to Christ, a lot of that thinking is corrupt. A lot of that thinking is now established in me. He said, Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed. But when most of us came to Christ, we already Conform to the world. We're not just coming in on a clean state. We already know how we feel about things. You know, you cross me, I'm gonna cross you. You come at me, I'm gonna come at you. So we already, we already conform to some systems of this world. And so what transformation does, as we transform, we transform into the way he would function or in the way he would operate. So they will not conform to the world. If I'm in the midst of something, I'm not gonna get out of it until I change my thinking. I change my thinking about it, I change the way I feel about it. Now, we'll say this that's not God's responsibility to change it. The Holy Spirit helps change, right? But it's not God's responsibility for my change, for my renewal. He says, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. This means and be renewed, he said, guess what? You already have it. You just gotta learn to walk in it. You already have it, you just gotta learn to live in it. You already have it, you just have to learn, we just have to learn to be transformed in it, and not only that that's on the inside, it begins to show up on the on the outside. Glory to God.

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_02

Glory to God. And so be being renewed. That's the whole purpose of study.

SPEAKER_01

That's the whole purpose of study is to renew our mind.

SPEAKER_02

That's why the devil works so hard on making sure we don't read the Bible. And he even works harder on making sure we don't study it. Because he knows that studying and reading the word of God will produce uh uh renewing the mind and will produce transformation of the soul. And he don't want that. And if you just if you just hang out and say, well, I'm gonna I'm gonna get to my Bible sometime today if I can, it'll be, it'll most likely be at night, and while you're reading it, you'll be falling asleep. Somebody sounds like they know something about that. So then what has to happen? I have to set aside the time. I have to look at what I got going on, and I have to set aside the time. I have to make sure that I'll set him time, I'll set times wrong. Sometimes I go to read and and uh I get I get stuck a lot, stuck a lot. Because my main thing is kind of I like to kind of break stuff down a little bit. So I get stuffed, I get stuck a lot. But I found out that in getting stuck, I retain more because I spend more time in it. Say this, uh say this to your neighbor. He's not against reading through the whole Bible. But if you read through the whole Bible and you ain't getting nothing, all you got to be able to say is I read through the whole Bible. But if you took one chapter and read through that chapter, memorized that chapter, pulled the nuggets out of that chapter, got that chapter down in your soul, got some understanding and revelation on that chapter. That to me, that's better than reading the whole Bible. Because you got something in your heart that can change. Now I didn't say don't read the whole Bible, read the whole Bible. But study the word, right? So you can get it down on the inside. It don't happen overnight. It don't happen, you're getting stuffed down, some stuff down overnight. Sometimes you gotta study and study and study and study and study, and you didn't study, and then all of a sudden you see something that you hadn't seen before. And so that's why the scripture says, So study to show yourself approved. A workman not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, rightly divided. Amen. So living, living in the now, the born-again spirit is in us. Let's let him stand up. Or at least let him stand up more than he's been standing up. We want to get him to where he stands up all the time. We want to get him to where he's standing up all the time. You might can't get him to stand up all the time today. But uh, but if you get in there and you study and you renew your mind, he'll he'll he'll start standing up more and more and more. Then he'll get to the place where he don't even sit out.
