In Living in the Now – Part 5, Pastor Jesse Marshall teaches how a life fully surrendered to God opens the door for His direction, wisdom, peace, and purpose. You need to make sure you have the right Jesus. Because to have the wrong Jesus, Jesus could be an eternal mistake. That's unrecoverable. Hallelujah. Glory to God. God is good, isn't he? You know, God does everything he can in this world through people to try to correct uh our behaviors. You know, we we're not gonna be able to, you know, when we see Christ or when we talk to him and say, you know, God, you you, you know, God, just if you would have done this, God, just if you would have said it this way, I would have, I wouldn't have been able to grasp it and get it. You know, there's nothing that we're gonna be able to say, hallelujah, when we stand before this holy God. And everybody, everybody, the knots, the the knots and the halves are gonna have to stand before. Amen. And so we've been teaching, we've been teaching uh in this series, Living in the Now, and we've covered uh a lot of information. We've covered quite a few, quite a few scriptures, uh, we covered uh just information to bring uh us up to presently living with God. Presently living with God is just is uh is really not a hard task. It's just that he's involved in my everyday thinking, he's involved in my everyday uh actions, uh, he's involved in them because I I request of him. So uh last time we were up before you, hallelujah, uh with we talked about, let's see where we ended at. Uh we talked about ended up at least with Galatians 2 and 20. Uh, we were talking about we have been crucified uh with Christ. So today we're gonna pick up uh uh just right underneath that in another little compartment or sub-uh category. Uh we're gonna talk about uh our commitment to Christ. So, Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you, we glorify your name, we magnify you, exalt you, and lift you up. You're worthy of our praise, you're worthy of our honor, and you're worthy of all of the glory. Father God, you're worthy to be praised, to be glorified, and to be magnified. And we thank you for working signs, miracles, and wonders in our lives. We thank you that you've given us everything that we need that pertain to life and godliness. So, Father God, we bless your holy name today. We say they create, Father God, and we ask for revelation, for illumination, for insight, Father God, as this word goes forth, Father God, and as we as as we grow closer and closer to Christ Jesus. And Father God, as we walk in his authority and in his power, we know that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We decrease. Your spirit and your anointing would increase in us, and we give you all praise. It's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Amen. I'm gonna ask everyone to stand. We're gonna read our scriptures again over in Ephesians. Hallelujah. Glory to God. I had forgot about that, but the Lord say, do that, do that, do that. All right, all right, and so we're gonna pick up reading. Uh, we're gonna pick up reading uh in the uh Ephesians, the first chapter. Uh it's hard to pick up reading here. Uh all right, we'll pick up the 15th verse and then we'll read through the 18th verse. Amen. I'm gonna get it on the screen, and that way we all can make sure we're reading the same versions. Hallelujah. Amen. Glory to God. Ready? Let us read. Wherefore, I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my praise, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what is the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. Amen. Glory to God. You may be seated, amen. And that's what we want to do as we hear the word, not only and hear, uh, but as we hear the word as we study and read it, that the eyes of our understanding be enlightened that we might know what is the hope of his uh what is the hope of his calling, amen, on our lives, that we might walk in that glory uh that he has for us. Hallelujah. Glory to God. So we want to first, as we as we talk about and as we move through living in in the now, it's uh living living in the now and in faith. Uh there must be a commitment to God, right? There must be a commitment to God, first of all. Uh, commitment to God, we can also uh uh use together as relationship. I'm committed to God. Anytime uh I'm I'm uh committed to God, uh, I want to be able to be committed to Him, I know I must know what He desires. So living in the noun is a commitment to living according to God's word. I'm committed to God's word. What does this committed mean? It means that this commitment of God's word, it guides my life. If the word of God does not guide my life, then it means that I'm not committed to the word of God. Something, whatever guides my life is what I'm committed to. So if I'm not committed, uh uh uh if I'm if I'm gonna be committed to God, I'm gonna have to be committed to his word. Let's look at Psalms 37, uh 5 through 6. Uh scripture review, Psalms 37, uh 5 through 6, uh in commitment, right? Uh uh sometimes I'm I'm here and I uh you know, sometimes on the other side, and there the people came through there and uh come through there, and and sometimes I uh get the opportunity to to talk to them, and there's this one guy, he's came through uh on on several occasions. I talked to him, and uh uh because he has a distorted view, you know, when someone has a distorted view, it's very difficult. You have to talk to him over and over, and I can tell from talking to him that's that's a mixture. But in the things that he's functioning in, he believes that through those things he's committed, and everybody is committed to something, right? Everybody is committed to something. You might you might have to think around, but uh every everybody is committed to something, and a lot of times you can see where people are committed to. Uh they say if you just look in a if you just look at the bank statement, if you just look at their checkbook, your checkbook will tell you what they are committed to to a great degree, right? The checkbook will tell you, and so our commitment, and so when we look at Psalms, he says here, uh the psalmist says, Commit thy ways unto the Lord. Thy ways meaning commit your actions, your your things, commit your commit our thoughts to the Lord, trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass. I have to be committed to God's word and trust him for God to bring something to pass in my life, right? I don't want to abort, or I don't want to submit, or I don't want to give in to anything else. If I'm gonna live in the now, the word of God has to be first and final in my life. So he said, commit. Ah, I I remember uh there's a there's a time uh that um you know uh when certain things might happen when you come when you become uh committed to going in a certain direction. You know, you know, uh when if if if you use a let's see how I can use this if an example, if you if yeah, if you use backing up a trailer, at a certain point, uh if that trailer gets uh right side or left side off of that vehicle and you keep going, you commit it to tearing something up. Either you're gonna flip that trailer, either you're gonna pull a bumper off, either something's gonna happen negative because you are committed, right? And so when we have a commitment to God, our commitment to God must be first and foremost. I'm committed to God, I'm committed to God because I know I'm committed because I have a relationship with Him. Verse 6 says, And He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light and thou judgment as the noonday. So, what is he saying here? When I'm when I'm committed to God, God will guide me into operating righteous, right? Now I am righteous. You believe you're righteous, right? Amen. Amen. But but but some of my ways might not be righteous, and he says what what when I'm committed to his way, God's way. A lot of times we're familiar with the acts of God, but we're not familiar with the ways of God, and there's a difference. The acts of God are the things that we've seen God do, right? The ways of God are reason why God did what he did. And so, so many times he said, be committed to the way of God, right? And if I'm committed to a way, his way will not only cause me to be righteous, but his way will also uh cause me to have righteous living, righteous outcome, and he shall bring forth thy righteousness. And when the when you when we are righteous in our actions as the righteousness bring forth light, and thy judgment as the noonday, right? And so he he's saying the light will shine and the light will be in our life, right? Uh, and so we have must have a uh commitment, commitment to God. How is how is my I can ask myself a question? How is my commitment to God? How is my commitment to God? What does what or what does my commitment look like to God? Many times uh uh uh some years ago they would they would uh ask this, or at least I heard it, heard it being asked, they would they was asked this question, uh, if you if you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you? If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you? There won't be enough evidence if there's no commitment to God and to his word. So one has to have a commitment to God. It's required in the relationship, it's required to have a commitment with him, amen. And then uh he said there um 35, I shouldn't be that's six, right? Six five already together. Okay, all right, good, good. All right, okay, so then let's have a commitment. Are there things that I have moved out? Well, you know, because cause sometimes we, you know, we treat things like a buffet. I want, you know, I'm I'm all right, I want to do this, but this over here, you know, I don't I don't want to do it's all it's all God's word, but this old part I don't want to do, right? That affects my commitment when I use the Bible as a buffet. I want to try to align myself with everything the Holy Spirit will allow me to be aligned with according to the word, and and we need to be aligned according to the word, uh, because if we don't, that's why we have so many, so much stuff going on in the church that people are saying is right, and you can do this and using grace and using all of this kind of stuff because why? There's no word. I've took the word and I've created my own word, I've created what fits my lifestyle and how I want to do business and how I want to work, and I've I've taken that and I connect it and I give it to God, and I believe God receives it. And so that means there's a level of falsity there, there's a level of deception there that I'm being deceived. You know, it's one one bad thing. Don't, you know, you might a person might try to deceive others, you know. They might do that. But listen, don't don't deceive yourself. You we ought to kind of know where you at. I'll kind of know where you're at all the time, right? Right? So that you don't, so that we don't deceive ourselves. And so commitment, man, commitment takes us out of our way, right? Can we get uh Ruth, uh the first chapter, the 16th through the 18th verse? Commitment in God takes us out of our way. I don't just get to do all the time what I want to do. Sometimes the Lord speaks and I have to get up and I have to go. Sometimes I have to ask, Lord, do Lord, do do can I can I not do that today? Because in my mind it don't fit in with what I'm doing. So I'm always talking to God, trying to get approval. Now, watch this level of commitment uh that Ruth makes to uh uh Naomi. And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee. And you if you read before this, you you you you you you know you understand that uh uh Naomi had two sons. Uh they had gone to war, two sons got killed, and then there were two daughters. Uh she had two uh uh daughter-in-laws that was there, and she was saying she's in the own country, she didn't have nothing. She said, Listen, y'all young, why don't y'all go on back to y'all country and why don't y'all marry and y'all get husbands and marry and y'all can live a good life? Well, one decided that they would do that, but Ruth took a different route, and I said, Man, this is powerful commitment here. And Ruth said, I entreat me not, uh, entreat me not to leave thee or to turn from following after thee. For whether thou goest, I will go, and where thou and where thou lodgest, I will lodge. Thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God. Now, this is a powerful powerful commitment. It's kind of a standing commitment that one person could think of knowing, of having this level of commitment here uh that Ruth is making to Naomi. But let's go to the next verse. And then she says, This really tightens uh on on yesterday. Uh Pastor Vasco as he was he was he was talking about faith and that street strand cord and it really being tight, you know. But she said in the 16th verse, that is acceptable. That's good, you know, that's a good commitment, wouldn't you think? But then here and in the next version, she tightens the commitment, she has almost makes it told so tight that if she put a knot in it, you wouldn't be able to get the knot out. Watch what she says. Where thou diest, will I die? Whether I will be buried, the Lord do so to me, and more also, if I all, but if all but death part thee and me. Next verse when she saw that go back. I think I missed something. Well okay, yeah, here we go. Where where thou diest, will I die? What a commitment. And where will where and there will be I be buried, same place you'll be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, if I ought, but death impart thee in me. Man, she makes this commitment so tight. She said, The Lord do the opposite to me. If I break this relationship, this commitment I have to you before death. What a commitment. And then in the next verse, 18 verse. When she saw, when Naomi saw that she was steadfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her, meaning that she didn't talk to Ruth anymore about leaving her. Ruth was on, Ruth was latched on, Ruth wasn't letting go. Is my commitment to that point? Because if my commitment is to that point, my focus means probably is more somewhere else if my commitment is not to that point. Watch this. Uh he says, anything short of your commitment not going past the grave places your commitment to God at risk. That means that something might happen in life that decides to sort turning you. Right? So your com your commitment to God, you must look at your commitment and you must say, if I'm only living the now, what's what is really my commitment to God? You ain't gotta tell nobody, you ain't gotta talk nobody. Ask what is my commitment to God? Is my commitment bound on situations and circumstances? If everything goes good, me and God good, but if things start going sour, I'm or what I would call sour, I'm out of here. So then anything short of your commitment not going past the grave places your commitment to God at risk. Anything short of that, right? And so when we have something that's uh uh uh like that, then I maybe need to adjust. Make an adjustment. And so when I make this adjustment, then I correct. Now sometimes correcting doesn't happen all at once, but what I do, I begin to put things in place to bring me to that point, you know, because sometimes we want miraculous stuff, we we want God to pour it in, right? It says, Open, open up, cut the, pour it in there, Lord. You know how to get it in there, right? And we don't want to do no work. A lot of times we don't want because a lot of times we really kind of want to do what we want to do, and we have to be obedient and obey God. So he said anything short of that commitment. Uh, committing to God and submitting to God uh will be a determining factor on how well we live this life of faith. Did you hear that? Committing to God and submitting to God will be a determining factor on how well we live this life of faith. If there's not a lot of commitment, that won't be a lot of faith operation. Right? These disciples, these apostles uh that we see in the New Testament and really old testament, these guys over here, these guys had commitments past the grave. John was so committed in the love of God and to fulfill the purpose and the plan of God that when they tried to boil him in oil, they couldn't kill it. So he said, Ain't nothing else we can do with it. Let's set him out on the Isle of Patmos. Right? And where he wrote the book of Revelation. What is the level of commitment that you have to God? That I have to God. I have to examine that. I look one time and goes a while ago, I said, Man, look like commitment kind of drying up. And sometimes the commitment does dry up, but you have to go back and refresh it. You say, Well, the fire ain't there no more. Well, it ain't God's fault. That the fire ain't there no more. That's my fault. And I have to recognize that and go back and rekindle the flame by by the Holy Spirit, rekindle my commitment to God. Glory to God. Let me. Thank you, Holy. I wrote something in my little book here. I'm gonna read it. My little book I kind of keep with me, and God slaps some stuff on me. I can write it down. Because, you know, kind of sometimes the mind don't want to remember. Hallelujah. It's renewed. Hallelujah.

Whatever you practice will become a part of, whatever you practice will become a part of you. If you practice not reading the word of God, they become a part of you. It's practice. If you practice disobedience, disobedience will become a part of you. And you'll operate in disobedience and wondering why you're operating in disobedience. Because you've practiced it. Anything you practice will become a part of you, and you will use it throughout your everyday life. I said, Wow, boy, I better watch what I'm practicing. When we're talking about practicing, we're just talking about operating in a particular thing, operating in something, uh, reading the word of God, trusting the word of God. All of these things build commitment. Glory to God. And so, and our commitment, examine your commitment. Uh, growing Christians and mature Christians examine their commitment. Amen. He tells us to, he said, examine yourself to see that you were in the faith. Every year I get two examinations. I get one I pay for, and I get, well, I'll probably pay for the other one too. I just don't know it. But uh, two of them and go get examination. And if anything is not right, they they ask me some questions, they tell me something. Do I need no, no, no, we don't want that, we ain't gonna take that. No, no, no, no, no. Because examination, because something didn't didn't come up right. They said my vitamin D was low. Now, what I do with that examination, he said it was low. Uh, matter of fact, it was low, it was low when I went last year. Well, it was low when I went six months ago. So he keeps telling me it's low. So I I have to look at it, and I said, Well, I gotta I gotta do something something, right? Because when I have an examination, I want to take that examination and I want to benefit from the examination, right? I don't want to go examination, they tell you all this going on, and I go back home and and whatever might be caught, I keep doing something. When the word examines me, when the and when he talks about when a man reads the word and is as a mirror, and then he goes back and and he forgets the things that he has read. Right? The Bible is not giving these instructions for naught, he's giving these instructions to keep us out of places that we don't want to wind up at. And he says, so then my commitment to God has to be a tight commitment. Because what's what might be coming down the road might be a little might might be bumpy, but if I have a tight commitment, if I have a tight commitment, that means also my faith is probably in the proper place and in the proper perspective. Glory to God. Committing to God, submitting to God, determining fact how well you would you would uh uh how how how well you would live your life in faith. And we believe it. So we want to do what? We want to live our life in faith, right? Let's look at James, the first chapter, uh, verse 22 through 25. James 1, 22 through 25. How do I strengthen my commitment or my my submission unto God? How do I strengthen it, right? How I strengthen it, he says, here, but be doers of the word, do what the word says. He said, Be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. And sometimes we got a lot of word in us, right? We fat on the word, but it ain't for us to just have a lot of word in us, it's for us to be doers of the word and do what the word says. But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Deception is is is is a is it's not a good thing. When when I'm if you deceived and don't know you deceived. Next verse. For if any be a hear of the word, hearer of the word just doesn't mean I hear, but the hearer of the word means I hear the word and I apply the word, right? He said, for if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass. Right? His natural face. He's looking, he sees the word, the word is saying something, this, that, or the other, and he beholds his natural face in a glass. Next verse. For he beholdeth himself and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. Goeth his own way, meaning that his commitment is not where it needs to be. What he saw, what he needed to correct, what he needed to do, he decided, uh, and he forgetteth. Forget it means I don't want to do it. He forgetteth. He says he goes straight away, forgetteth what matter a man he is, because he operates the same way. And then verse 25. But whosoever looketh into the perfect law of liberty and continueth therein. What? He's saying, continue in the word, the perfect law of liberty, whose ever look in it and continue therein, he being not a forgetful here. He being not a forgetful here, not a forgetful here, but a doer of the word. This man shall be blessed in his what? In his deed. Be not a forgetful here. The Bible says that Satan he comes to kill, he comes to steal, he comes to he comes to take the word. But a lot of times it's not very difficult for him to take the word from. Sometimes. Sometimes we don't want it no way. Sometimes we sometimes we oh well, maybe that's every word of God that you can hear is good to receive it, not reject it. Just receive it. Even though at that point you might not be willing to do it, but receive it, why? Because you know the word. When you place your posture in, when you place your posture in a position where what you don't want to hear, what you don't like, you just reject it, that's a bad posture to have. It's better to receive the word and try to bring yourself around to believing the word or understanding the word than to reject the word. Right? He said that my people, Hosea uh 4 and 6, he said that my people they perish for a lack of what he said they perish for a lack of knowledge. But when you read to that, when you read that verse under there, he says, but they have rejected knowledge. Meaning the knowledge was available, but I don't want to reject it. I want to receive it into my heart, I want to receive it into my spirit, even though I don't understand. That's what that's what Mary did. When the angel came to her, she didn't understand. She said, Jesus, well, you know, I ain't, you know, I'm already betrolled. I mean, this isn't what he said, but then this is my thing. I'm already betrolled, and you know, you know, uh, if I'm wind up pregnant, you know the position that put me in, if it if it ain't him. But she said to the angel, be it unto me, as thou have said. She didn't understand it, she received it, even though she didn't understand it, and that's what we gotta do sometimes. We gotta learn how to receive the word, even though we don't understand it, and even though it might not be something we're looking for. I thought I'd get something else. But we gotta learn to receive it because in our commitment and our relationship with God, we trust God, and if God said it, then it's so. Right? My commitment. If God said it, then it's so. I'm gonna stand, I don't understand where they where they said to you, blah, I don't understand a little bit of it, but I'm receiving it, and I'm gonna take it and I'm gonna meditate on it, and I'm gonna watch what God's gonna do because I believe He's gonna do it. Right? And so in my uh in my commitment, uh, and he says, so he says now, be hears and doers of the word. Be hears, have an intention that when you go out of your house every morning, I wanna have on my mind I'm gonna be a doer of the word. I'm gonna say the right things, I'm gonna do the right things, I'm gonna function in the right way. A doer of the word. A doer of the word. Come in agreement, I'm gonna be a doer of the word. You gotta talk to yourself with scripture now. You gotta talk to yourself. I'm gonna be a doer of the word. Amen. Do a doer of the word. My commitment. See, your commitment will determine the level of commitment and relationship that you have with Christ, it will determine it. And so you had that, you have a strong, you want a strong commitment to God. You want a strong connection, that you're committed to Him, you're committed to His Word, His Word is final authority. You want to believe that what He has said to you is gonna come to pass. So many times we get in the wavering. God ain't gonna do it because it ain't happened yet. Paul said that uh I I believe I'm supposed to go to Rome because I gotta talk to King Agrippa. Now, in the midst of Paul going to Rome, which was a long trip, he was shipwrecked, he was chased, he was bit by uh uh some kind of scorpion, a serpent that came out of the fire that the barbarians believed as soon as you bite it, they said as soon as it hit, they thought it was gonna kill him because every everything else that it had, every other person it had jumped on, they almost died instantly. But all he went through, but he said, the Lord said, I gotta go to Rome and I gotta tell my story, I gotta tell what the Lord has done in my life to King Agrippa, and Paul got there after all of that he went through, everything he went through, all of them was life and death situation in the sea for two to three days, life and death situations, but he believed in I gotta get to wrong, gets to wrong, preaches to King Agrippa, but King Agrippa said, Man, you preach good, man. You do you do you do good, and King Agrippa says to him, I you almost persuaded me to be a Christian. That's how committed then when you talk to somebody, they they they might not be fully persuaded, but that's when you leave them, they ought to be, they ought to be saying, Oh boy, they boy they show, boy, they show laid it on. I was talking to a Maggie at work one time and he had asked me a question. I forget what the what the question is, and he didn't really want nobody to hear him. So we went down to a separate room and I talked to him and I explained it, and I explained it to him. And uh he said to me, he said, Wow, I still don't know if I can do it, man. But I tell you what, uh, if I just if I just hear more, I think I can get there. See, there ought to be power in your commitment. And your commitment and authority, when you when you when you're speaking, when you're when you're teaching, when you're out there, well, sometimes we so passive. But y'all, you all, you that's the season we move. Christian gotta move out of the passive season and move into the aggressive season. Right? I mean, not aggressive where you take somebody's head off, but aggressive where you're gonna say what the word says. Because Pastor Lisa says all the time, the world telling you what they think. And and we call it a guy, easy, easy, Jesse. And we don't want to offend nobody. We don't want to offend nobody, we don't want to tell nobody nothing. We we we so we don't want to offend. That's why the that's we don't want to offend nobody. It ain't my fault if I tell you the truth and you get offended. We want to walk softly, why Islam building masses, what they call them moss, got one in Austin now, they erected, and they have stated out loud we coming after Christians because Christians are gullible. They stated it out loud. I watched a video two days ago. Uh well, no, about a week and a half ago. Because Christians, we won't say, we'll just say, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But if you tell me your story, brother, I'm gonna tell you mine. Because we don't want to offend. The church didn't tell us so much, don't judge, don't offend, that now we when it comes to that area, we just passes. We almost just shut down, and they didn't lie to you. We almost just shut down. Because we don't want to offend. We nervous, we scared. Jesus, when he was talking to the Pharisees, those high leaders, he tells he said, You scorpions, you serpents, you have the devil, your daddy. That's what he said. That's what he told him. He wasn't he wasn't scared. Nor was he passive either. But we don't want to offend nobody. Well, I'll tell you, I'll offend you. If it's the truth, I'll offend you. Show will. And our commitment has to be strong, it has to be balanced, and if it's untruth, we need to stand up and say something. Glory to God. Because you're talking about a fire. Well, what you want the fire to do if you ain't gonna do nothing with it? Huh? What you want the fire to do? We need the fire, Lord. Lord, send the fire. Well, what you want the fire to do? Huh? You passive joker, you? What you want the fire to do? You just want to get something so you can say you have it and not even use it. What you want it for? Glory to God. Easy, Jesse. So this commitment that we have with God, it's supposed to take us, uh, this relationship that we have with God, as he said, is supposed to take us, take us, take us, and our our mouths are released out of love. But in many cases, love will offend. Yes, sir. Huh? Yeah. So you had to tell the truth and shame the devil. Because I realized something.

SPEAKER_01

And I'm finna shut, I'm finna close down. Help me, help me. Uh, help me unless you give me some more.

SPEAKER_02

I realized something. We're living in a day and a time now. You know, used to be way back when I can remember. Used to be way back when I can I can remember. Uh, you know, you you had time to minister to people, talking. But now days, you you you can minister to somebody, and here two days from then they passed. Really, in today's time, you don't we don't have the time to miss an opportunity. We we really don't. Time is short. And so we don't have a we don't have the time to miss an opportunity. To minister this gospel to somebody. Ask them as they say. Young guys up here, up here yesterday. We was we were doing some stuff with the chair with Pastor Dixon. Up here yesterday, he came up. He's talking. He's uh matter of fact, he goes to high school over there talking to him. I said, I said, Are you saved, man? Are you saved? He said, Yeah, I'm saved. And on the back of his shirt, he said, I did, I I hadn't uh seen it, but on his back of his shirt, he said, uh, I love Jesus. He said, Yeah, I'm saved. Because now you have to take the opportunity. If you don't, the next time you hear about them, it might they might be gone. Glory to God. Because the whole goal and ministry of the church and commitment to Christ and his relationship is to is to win souls, to bring souls into the body of Christ. I know we have our own personal agendas, we have our own personal areas of operation, but if your area, every area God gives us of operation, there ought to be some winning of souls in it. There ought to be some ministering of the gospel out there. There ought to be this, there ought to be that. Because that's why he gave it to you, because you in a you're in a vineyard, you may be the only one in that venue that's handling that's and so you have to minister the gospel. You have to minister the gospel. Nowadays you might not have a whole lot of time. You shouldn't let your light shine, but nowadays you might not have a whole lot of time, let your light shine in front of them. You got to minister that gospel to them. If they're a backslider, you gotta call, you gotta, you gotta minister. Listen, God love the backslider. Now you got to come up. Let me pray for you. What's your problem? Because it's crucial. Because this is the shortest life we live on earth. These 90, 100, 120 years, if some get the 90, 20, 120, it's but even if you get to 120, it's still the shortest life you're gonna live. Because the other part of our life is eternal, eternally with God or eternally in hell. But it's eternal. And so we have to, we have to, we have to live this life. Now the Bible says that the joy of the Lord is our strength, right? Right? It is our strength. So when I go out, I go out in joy. I go out expecting the Lord to say something to me about something, right? So I can fix it, or so I can make whatever adjustment I need to make. I'm getting God partnership in my life every day. God, if you won't do it, I won't, it won't happen. I'ma do my part, Lord. You do your part. You said I'ma do it. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Boy, I was and and I I was I was listening at these speakers on yesterday, boy, and I tell you, there was some power. Power going on. Glory to God. Powerful speakers going on. Uh uh Elder Mandweller. Powerful word. What are you hearing? Because what you're hearing eventually is gonna operate in your life. Powerful word. Powerful word. Pastor Vasquez, uh uh uh what what he what he preach on? I know it here in a minute. The three cord, three-strand cord, how we tie in faith, God will and God able. These are necessity things that we have to get down in our life. And then Pastor Ron Hill uh from Faith-Based Church uh talked about relationship and the covenant that we have with God. And boy, we were built up, we were built up, we were built up in the faith. Now you shouldn't, all y'all that attend, you shouldn't let that don't let that dry up. Don't let it dry up, man. You you take that stuff, man, and you suck that word in, you you suck it in through your mouth, you suck it in through your nose, you blank your eyes and bring it in. You receive it. Because the word of God is spirit, and the word of God is life. Our life, your life. Kayla Kaylin got that baby, she's gonna bring forth, I guess, in some months. Weeks in two weeks, that was fast, Kayla. But Kaylin ought to be talking to that baby. Terrell ought to be talking to that baby. You the righteous of God, you strong in power in the Lord. Everything we've done, you're gonna exceed it by the help of the Lord and by the power of the Lord. God has great things for you. Glory to God. So you gotta talk to him, talk to him, talk to yourself. Glory to God, hallelujah. God got great things. You look at yourself, say, God got great things for me. I ain't totally figured it out yet, but he got some great things for me. But if I know if I stay committed in relationship to him, I know these things he'll bring to pass. He'll bring the past in my life. Whatever it is that I need, he'll bring to pass. My faith and my trust is in God. I I got a job, but my faith and trust ain't in my job. My faith and my trust is in God. My job is just an avenue by by what he's doing now or using now to bless me. But if it's gone tomorrow, my trust is in God. Yeah, yeah. That's why you get your commitment strong. My trust carries, my trust in God, my faith is in God, my hope is in God. Everything I am within me, all parts of my being is in God. In God I'll live, and in God I'll die. Glory to God, glory to God. There's nothing that'll separate me from his love, nothing that'll separate me from his anointing, nothing that'll separate me from his power, nothing that'll separate me from his ability. There's nothing that's gonna cause me to give up. I'm not gonna surrender, I'm not going into town. I put you on notice, devil. Put you on notice. Ain't nothing you can do with this now. Maybe 40 years ago you could have done something with it when I wasn't in you, but now it's too late. Ain't nothing you can do with this. You can't handle this devil. You don't let the devil toss and throw you around. You can't handle this devil. Is more here than you want him. Glory to God. It's in me, it's in me now, devil. It's too late. No turning around, no surrender, no bowing down, no wondering if God is God anymore. God is God, and He He's God all by Himself. Glory to God, and I'm glad to be a part of the God team. I'm glad to be a part of the God God team. Hallelujah. You ought to put something on the devil, always, always talking about devil doing this, devil doing that. Put something on him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tell him, tell him you defeated foe, you sorry rascal. You you are destined for death, and your time is coming. Glory to God, glory to God, glory to God, thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah, glory to God, hallelujah, boy. You ought to rise up in the morning and stick your chest out, and the devil flee from you because he says she done got up, he done got up. Glory to God. We ain't serving no weak God. We ain't gonna act like we serving no weak God.

Thank you.

We're gonna act like we know God. Sorry, we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna act like we understand how his power and how his authority works. We ain't gonna just act like it, but but but but we're gonna perform it. Glory to God, hallelujah! Glory to God, thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Devil you whoop that you beat, and you defeated. Hallelujah. The Bible I'm gonna call yourself everything the Bible calls you. I'm a conqueror, I'm an overcomer. Greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world. God is able to do exceeding abundant above all. We can ask or think according to the power that worketh down on the inside of us. I am above and not beneath. I am the head and not the tail. I am the lender and not the bar. Call yourself what the what the word called you. Build yourself up in your most holy faith and then get in there and build yourself up some more. Glory to God, glory to God, glory to God. When the and when the enemy see you coming, they realize they gotta they gotta hide themselves, they gotta flee. Glory to God, because there's thought and power in us, in you, and in me. He's given it to us already, and we'll walk in it. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. That song that they sang, I'm no longer a slave to sin, but I am, I'm a child of God. I am a child of God. Hallelujah. Well, glory to God, hallelujah. Hallelujah. Your commitment in your relationship will take you to higher and deeper levels in God. You're submitting to him his way. Your desire to want to see him please. Because a lot of time our desires just want to see us please. But your desire has to be come to see him pleased. God, did I do it? God, did I do it right? There's been occasions where uh after my preached, and oh, I'm gonna shut down here in a little bit, y'all. After I preached, I went home and after got something to eat, and I sat in the recliner, and I'm just sitting there, and uh, there's been occasions where I've heard the Lord say to me, Well done. Oh, you ought to hear well done now. You don't have to wait till you get to heaven and hear well done. You ought to hear some well done now on this side. Glory to God. He said, Well done, son. And the most I can do when he says that I can't even say nothing. My mouth just and I and tears just run down my face. I said, Thank you, Lord, for letting me know. Because of everybody that stands up, I want him to stand up. I'm not really concerned about if anybody else stands up, I want him to stand up. Because when he stands up, he covers the whole crowd. Glory to God. Glory to God. So I'm not really concerned now about me. I'm concerned now about doing what he said. I'm not emotionally stressed because of what some say or what some may do. I'm concerned about what he says and what he wants. Glory to God. My commitment is to him. I love all of y'all. With much as I can, and with God's word. Well, hallelujah. I gotta do what God says, and listen, I'm gonna tell you this. You gotta do what God says, not just me, not just me. You gotta do, we all gotta do what God says, and we gotta come into it fully where it has some effect on this little town of Lawton. And then it goes and expands out Father and Father. Hallelujah. Anybody excited about Jesus? Glory to God.
