Amen. Glory to God. We've been teaching on living in the now. And as most of you know by now, uh that we're just talking about living in faith. Amen. And so we've we've talked about uh many things uh in this, and and we we might get to finish it up today. We'll see. Amen. But hallelujah. We're just talking about living in the now. Looking at our everyday life, where we started off at and just go back a little bit. Looking at our everyday life as living in faith, right? A difference from just having faith. Living, living in faith is a difference from just having faith. Because every born-again believer has faith according to the scripture. But we want to move from just having faith, right? To living in faith and to living uh by faith. And last week we talked about uh submitting and our commitment to God uh is a part of the relationship that we need to have with Him, a committing and a submitting relationship with Him, so that we're able to live in faith and that we're able to live in the now. All right, so there must be a level of commitment that we have to God, a level of uh of our submit, uh submitting unto God and His way in order if we want to live by faith. Hallelujah. The Bible lets us know that the just shall live by faith. So we talked about that uh a little bit on last week. And I just want to say this one thing, and then we're gonna move uh forward into uh this topic. Uh uh and submitting to God, committing to God, and submitting to God will determine the factor on how well we live our life of faith. Submitting and committing to God will determine how well we live or how well we walk out this life of faith. Amen. And then uh James 1 and 22, uh a little bit about uh uh uh be doers of the word and not hearers only. And so this thing requires, this word requires to be in our heart, it requires to be released out of our mouth, and then it also requires action. And all of these three components help bring the word together and help us be able to see the manifestation of the thing that we believing for uh come into a natural manifestation if it's something natural, uh healing coming to manifestation if healing is needed. Amen. Amen. And so uh we believe that faith is crucial to living a holy separated life in Christ Jesus, that faith is crucial to living a holy and separated life uh in Christ Jesus, a life where our words align with our hearts and with our actions, where our layer our words align with our heart uh and with our actions. So we want to be able to follow through because it's necessary to follow through in what we hear and what we what's in our heart and what we hear uh and what we do, uh, because that's a combination that works together to bring forth the uh blessing. Uh uh let's look at quick quickly uh Proverbs 23 and 7, then I guess uh yes, Proverbs 23 and 7. So faith is is crucial. Uh God says in Hebrews, uh the scripture says, or Paul or says in Hebrews 11 and 6 that without faith it's impossible to please God. So we know that it's uh possible. He says here in uh Proverbs 23 and 7, for as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. Eat and drink, said he to thee, but the heart is not with thee. So we understand and we know that God always looks at our heart, right? He knows what's in our heart, and of course he knows what's in our head, but God always looks at our heart. You know, and God sees things in our heart that we don't see. Both good and not good. He sees both of them. So he said, but he says, as a man thinks in his heart, as the thoughts and and ideas and concepts that he has, he says, so is that man, so is he. Then that means that uh what's what's in your heart, right? You understand what's what's in your heart, your heart, not not the blood pump, but your heart, the inner man of us, uh, what's in there is ground. We don't see the ground, but it's really ground. And what's ever in ground will grow. Right? Right, what's ever in the ground will grow. And it it appears as though weeds have a tendency to grow faster than uh than than the thing that was actually planted. Right? Right? And so they have a tendency to grow. So that's why I need to take care and watch what's going in my heart. Uh, watch what I'm watching, watch what I'm hearing, watch what I'm doing, because when something goes into the heart, it will develop and it will grow. Amen. All right, and so we just kind of want to set the set the stage kind of a little bit with that today, amen. And uh faith is a faith is a spiritual force given by God so that man can live a supernatural life on earth as in heaven. Faith is a supernatural force, and every person that has come into the kingdom has faith. Pastor Gloria already talked about that, has the measure of faith. And in Romans, uh Romans 12 and 3, we can get that uh verse real quickly, it's all familiar, but you might want to write it down or read it. He says that uh, for I say through the grace given unto me to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. The measure, meaning that God has given us all a measure. So someone can say, uh uh, no one, no believer can say, I don't have faith. Because if a believer says that, then the believer is calling God a liar. Amen. So I have to accept the fact that since his word said it, then I have it. Right? Right? And so, well, sometimes what happens is what happens is that uh developing faith is necessary, right? Developing. Uh Bible says over in Hebrews that Jesus said he's the author and the finisher of our faith, right? That means that author means starting, finisher means bringing to completion. And so in the middle is a place where we're developing our faith. And so faith has to be developed uh through and by the word of God. So we have a measure of faith. Thank God I have faith. Hallelujah. Thank God I have the thing that God says that without Him is impossible to please Him. I have it. I have the faith of God living on the inside of me. It's in me. Look at your neighbor. It's a neighbor, it's in me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Faith is in you. God's supernatural force is in us. Faith in the precious blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When I make that statement, that means that when I develop and I understand and begin to grow in faith, that means that there's nothing inside outside, there's nothing outside, there's nothing that can happen to me where I need to leave faith and go to something else. Because in faith, I have everything that I need. I don't have to leave faith. If you're in faith and you're looking for a spouse, you don't have to lead a faith to go look for a spouse. Amen. Well, whatever you might be seeking after, whatever you might be looking at, looking for, if it's of God, if it's according to the God or the will of God, you don't have to leave faith to get it. You can stay right in faith and keep believing for it and let God bring whatever it is, let him bring it, and when he brings it, he'll bring whatever you need, the right stuff. Right? He'll bring the right stuff. So he says he's given us all the measure of faith. And and and so uh our faith is a supernatural ability. God has given man uh uh supernatural uh uh uh faith is a is a spiritual force uh given by God to man that he can live a supernatural life on earth. And our the faith that we have when we ex when we begin to use our faith overcomes every strategy, every weapon, and every tactic of the enemy. If I can you if I can take the word of God and use the word of God when my my I don't have the finances that I need, or maybe when when sickness shows up, or maybe this, that, and nothing. If I can take the word of God in faith, it'll overcome every I don't care what it is, every under every situation, under every circumstance, and in every condition. Uh, when I take the word of God and release my faith upon that thing, that thing has trouble now. That's why in faith you can trouble your trouble, and your trouble will leave. Glory to God, glory to God. I ain't trying to get running early, y'all. I'm just trying to take a little bit of time, hopefully, trying to preach teach here just a little bit. Amen. They say they say that preaching, preaching is is is to save souls, but uh uh teaching is to transform souls, right? Amen. And so so faith is a spiritual force, and so you have to begin to realize that it's a force on the inside of me. The force of God, the force of faith, the force of love, the force of peace, the force of love, the force of joy, the force of forgiveness, and the force of repentance. These are all spiritual forces that God has given unto glory to God, that God has given unto me to live and to work in this natural environment, and the supernatural always has the ability to exceed the natural. Right now, the natural works with the supernatural. Sometimes we get it, we might have it backwards. The supernatural works with the natural, but really it's the it's the supernatural, uh uh, the natural works with the supernatural. Amen. Hallelujah, glory to God. Uh and so we have that measure of faith. All right, and so faith is the supernatural ability God has given man to violate time restrictions and natural laws. That's why sometimes people have testimonies that the the doctor says impossible for them to, it's impossible, they can't be healed. They just gotta, they're gonna have to, we'll try to keep them comfortable and they have to live off the rest of their time and then they get healed. Because faith has the ability to violate natural laws. When I release my when I release my faith and I believe the word of God. All all natural laws can be superseded by spiritual laws. Right? And so spiritual laws, uh, spiritual laws, they come into effect to override what the doctor says sometimes. They come into effect to override what your what my checkbook says sometimes. Glory to God. It ain't looking like there's nothing to do what I need to do. But faith and seed sowing will override what the checkbook and what the bank account says. So there's no situation or circumstances that I need to go out and look for another way to get my need met. I can walk it out in faith. So faith is a supernatural ability God has given to man to violate time restrictions and natural laws. Acts uh 8. Uh, keep yeah, let's just look in there. Acts 8, 35 through 40. Right, right. And there's the law of uh that there's the law of gravity, right? Uh, but some years ago, the Wright brothers, uh, the Lord laid it on their heart that listen, uh, there's another law, a law of aerodynamics. And the law of aerodynamics just simply says if you can get thrust, lift, and speed, you can fly. And the right brothers figured out how to get thrust, lift, and speed. And they violate every time an airplane stays uh with those three methods working, it violates the law of gravity. And planes do it every day, all day long. Why? They supersede the law of gravity, and you gotta understand that what's in us, we have the ability to supersede our things that show up in our lives by the law of the spirit and the law of faith. Glory to God. Glory to God, hallelujah. Uh uh Acts the 8th chapter. We're gonna read 35 through 40. This is Philip, y'all. Y'all know where we're going here with this now. Then Philip opened his mouth and began at the same scripture and preached unto him, Jesus. This is uh Philip, uh the spirit tells him to go over to this caravan and he he meets this eunuch, and this eunuch is in there reading, and and and and Philip walks up beside and asks him, What are you reading? Right? And uh, and and so when he he gets reading, and and we're kind of up to this part, then Philip opened his mouth and began at the same scripture preached unto him Jesus. Meaning what he was reading, he didn't understand. But Peter opened up his mouth and I mean Philip opened up his mouth and preached to him. Next verse. Thank you. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water. And the eunuch said, See, here is water. What do it hinder me to be baptized? So he had accepted Christ. He to the to the level of belief uh that they were releasing in. He had accepted Christ, and he says, Now, what do it hinder me to be baptized? Right? He just he said he accept Jesus. Next verse, and Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou may it, thou thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe. He actually said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Hallelujah. We got a lot of people in the world today, they don't believe that. They don't believe he's the son of God, they don't believe he's deity, they don't believe he's from God. They a lot of stuff we got what don't believe, but then thank God we got people that do believe. Like uses us believe that Jesus is the son of God. Hallelujah. And because we believe that, we have this this hope that we're in Christ, and and and one day either we leave here or at the rapture. One day we're gonna see his face because we're able to say what the eunuch said. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. All right, can we get the next verse? Oh, glory to God, hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus. And he commanded the chariot to stand still. He commanded the chariot, uh, and he commanded the chariot to stand still, and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he and he baptized him. Philip baptized the eunuch. All right, then the next scripture, glory to God. And when they were come up out of the water, this is the part I want to get to. Somebody said, Come up out of the water. Oh, oh, well, we got baptized, come up out of the water, hallelujah. And when they were come out of the water, the spirit of the Lord caught away Philip. My goodness, that the eunuch saw him no more, and he went on his way rejoicing. Next verse number 40. Hallelujah. Glory to God. But Philip was found at Atos, Azotus, and passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea. Caesarea. Philip was transported supernaturally from out of the water, and then he said he was found in this place. Supernatural. Violate time, glory to God, violate transportation, violate speed, supernaturally, glory to God. He was transported. If it was Star Trek, I would say they beamed him up. God beamed him up and then beamed him back down. Glory to God. Well, this is some exciting stuff we have in scripture that the supernatural power and the supernatural ability of God is able to work under whatever kind of conditions there might be. Glory to God. God didn't tell him, Philip, get out the water and run. And when you're about out of breath, I'm gonna I'm gonna transport you. God said, I'm gonna transport you right here and put you where you're supposed to be on time. Ah, glory to God. Glory to God. In God good. Ain't God good. And and so and and so we see all of these supernatural acts, and and we gotta be able to see them and then be able to picture. You know, God gave us imagination to be able to picture. There was one man he was testifying, uh, he he testified, uh, and of course, this has been many, many years ago, uh, that God told him to go to the airport. God wanted him to go to Africa. And and uh he he was he was saying, okay, right, I'm gonna I'm gonna get ready to go to Africa and I'm gonna I'm gonna go do this right here. And he said, God stopped him and told him, now go to the airport. Glory to God. Supernatural. Oh, there's gonna some people gonna blow their mind and say, Oh, I don't believe that. But the man said, Lord, I gotta, I gotta, you know, I got pack and get ready. And he said the spirit said him uh with the fervent say, Go to the airport. And he said, he said, okay, Lord, I'm gonna go to the airport. I don't uh I don't know. He ain't bought no, I ain't bought no ticket, I ain't made no ramp. Well he said, Lord, so go to that port. He said he walked in the men's bathroom. The Holy Spirit told him, now go in the men's bathroom, turn around and come back out. And he says, when he went in the man's bathroom, turned around and came back out, he said he was in Africa. Transport. If he said it, he's not he not bound by an airplane or a jet, he's not bound by natural rules and natural laws, he's only bound by himself. Glory to God, hallelujah, glory, glory to God. So when we see this super supernatural things uh take place. Uh, I think I told you about this one one time, man uh elbow was was messed up. Did it? I might have done it, I don't remember, but he his elbow was messed up, and he said, Lord, this elbow is just bothering me. He went to a conference that night, and in that conference, he said, This thing is gonna be healed. And then he went to bed that night. And he said, when he went to bed that night, uh uh he just slept real peaceful, kind of more peaceful than he normally sleep. And he said, when he got up that next morning, uh that that that elbow uh bracket that they had put in his arm that was giving him pain, he said it was sitting on the nightstand. This is in our time, y'all. This is this is not I'm talking about the Bible 2,000 years ago. This is in our time. And if we can believe it, God can do it. Glory to God. Glory to God. I'm just gonna go here anyway. And then not anyway, but of course I think he wants me to go here. But there was another man. He said he had heart problems, and he said he was testified. I had heart trouble. And he said, uh, he said, uh, I laid down and I believe in God for healing of my heart. He said, and I laid down in the bed. He said, and I went to sleep. He said, but I don't know how long I've been asleep, but he said he felt some pressure on his chest. He said he opened his eyes and he said that look like what appeared to be an angel. And he said the angel had his hand in his chest. And the angel said, Go back to sleep, it's okay. And he said he just fell right back off to sleep. He had an appointment three days later, went to the doctor. The doctor said, Ain't nothing wrong with your heart. Supernatural. And the church has to get Over into the supernatural power and the supernatural ability of God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And one of the greatest things, faith in the supernatural. In order to live in the noun, the believer must abandon, abandon the concept and idea of being controlled or ruled by fear. Fear is uh to assert fear is uh the believer's worst enemy. It's a believer's worst enemy. Fear is faith in the devil or faith in reverse. Faith in the devil or faith in reverse. Fear is the foundation or the platform from which doubt and unbelief sprang. Adam, Adam and Eve, well, Adam his wife, really with his wife. He really didn't name uh Eve until later on in the third chapter. Uh but but that he he called the uh when God asked about it, he said, That woman you gave me. That's what he that's what he that's what he really called. He said, That woman, that woman you gave me, she gave to me, and I did eat. Uh uh, but fear is the foundational platform from which doubt and unbelief spring. And doubt and unbelief, they are curable. Doubt and unbelief is curable. Because the Bible says that we can believe. So that means doubt and unbelief is curable. Let's go over into Genesis 10. I'm hurrying right along. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Let's go over to Genesis 10 and and look at uh that 10th verse. Because uh fear not only plays a part in uh unbelievers' lives, fear plays a part also in believers' lives. A lot of times when we come out of the world, we get saved. Amen. Sometimes uh things have happened in our lives, and so we bring we bring fear right in. And the word of God, yes, we yes, we did, all of us did. Amen. Glory to God. And so he says, uh, and we just talked a little bit here about uh did I say that wrong? I think I did say that wrong. Genesis three and ten. Did I say Genesis 10 and 3? Okay, all right, I'm in the wrong place, uh, which caused y'all to be in the wrong place, but we get it there. Genesis 3 and 10. Amen. Glory to God. And he said, This is this is Adam, what he says after they ate off the tree. He said, and he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid. All right. This is the first time we see fear or afraid scripturally in the Bible in Genesis 3 and uh Genesis 3 and 10. He said, Because I was naked and I hid myself, right? And so now he has hid himself uh because he is now naked. He's realized he's naked. Amen. Uh he realized he was naked. He he was naked all the time, right? Right? He he just had on proper covering where his self was not his concern. And when your self, myself, ourselves, become our concern, our focus turns on us. And when our focus turns on us, it sends us in a different direction, or it can send us in another direction because through sin man became self-focused. Became, he became self-focused, and so uh uh Genesis 3 and 10, we see the soulish realm already affected by sin. I don't know how many days it was from the time they sinned to the time God showed up, but we see already the effects of sin. We see in Genesis 10, we see that we we see man now having a mental issue. What's this mental issue? He believes he can hide from God all of this time, he's afraid of God, and because he's afraid, he believes he can hide. Right? That now man has, and since him, all men has had to deal with this mental issue. And God calls it a mental issue, he knows that he is. He said, because you know what we come over in this thing, we have to renew our mind, we have to renew our mind so we can get rid of the mental issues that we might have, believing that he can hide himself from God. Let's take a let's take a quick peek at Genesis uh 3 and 11. Genesis 3, 3, and 11, the next one there. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? See, whatever happened, God already knows the cause, but he asked the question. So God asked Noah, he asked his Abraham a question here, and and and for some reason God don't allow him to answer. God just says, Has thou eaten of the tree whereof I commanded thee that thou should not eat? You know what? Have you done the thing that I told you? All the things you could have done. Because God knew the cause of the condition that he was in. And God knew only one thing could cause that. For him to be done something, God told him not to do. Glory to God. Hallelujah. He commanded him not to do. Okay, let's look at uh let's look at verse 12. Next verse, please. And the man said, The one whom thou gavest to be with me. So here he he kicks the blame to to to his wife, the woman. You know, you remember, you remember that one you put me to sleep? I I had no control. I didn't even know what you're gonna do. But you put me to sleep, and next thing I know, this this woman came showing up. That yeah, that's the one. Yeah, and the man said, The woman whom thou gavest me of the uh, the woman y'all, where I'm at, thou gave it to me with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. So now we see two effects of sin, or which caused by fear. We see one man's failure to take responsibility for his own actions, his failure to take responsibility of his own actions. But in his failure to take responsibility of his own actions, he creates another issue. Because now, since he's rolled Eve under the bus, now I'm pretty sure he had a social issue. Because the woman he had been with, he had put all of the blame on her. And so we see the wheels of sin. Trying to open this up a little bit. We see the wheels of sin turning. Let's go to Genesis. Uh, we'll skip uh a few verses. Let's go to Genesis uh 3, 17 through 18. Glory to God. And then to Adam, this is when God is passing out stuff, uh uh, passing out uh uh what's gonna take place now because of what you have done, what Adam and Eve have done. And I wanna I wanna propose this to you. Let me see if I can get it right. Um did this happen what we're about to read because God said it would happen, or did it happen because God it was just the way it was? That's just the way it is, when death comes. All right, I just throw that out there to you. All right, and he says, so Genesis 3, uh, 17 through 18, and unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and has eaten of the tree of which I command thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it. He says, Cursed is the ground. This is where some people get it messed up, because they want to believe that God cursed man. Adam, if there was a curse on Adam, Adam did it. God didn't do it. Right? And he commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of that, uh, thou shalt not eat of it. Cursed is the ground for thy sake, and sorrow shall thou eat of it all the days of thy life. Next verse, verse 18. Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee. Cursed is the ground. And now, when the ground would just bring up all kind of whatever was planted in it, or whatever was spoken to it, it would bring it up. Now he said, Cursed is the ground. And then he said, Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee, and thou shalt eat the herb of the field. Now Adam has another issue. Now he has a financial issue. Because now he had been used to speaking and talking and saying and doing, and now if we read on further, we'll find that he's gotta now teal the ground and by the sweat of his bra, he's gotta work. That's just where we get all of this, where we get all of all of this from. So now now Adam had three and seven that they sold They sold fig leaves together. And so when we see in Genesis uh as they sold thick leaves together in Genesis three and seven, we see that this is the first time, this is the first time where man tries to meet his own needs without God. So we see many things happen in the scripture where man tries to meet his own needs without God. And you and and we we struggle to bring that to pass. And he tries to take care of himself. We can see that fear enter in. We can we can see fear entering in a lot of times during difficult times. The doctor tells me situation that I have, maybe going on with me, going on with my child. Somehow finances come up that I need and I don't have. Life throws me a turn, an un an unwelcome ball that I didn't know was coming. And so we find a lot of times where fear gets in is through difficult situations, right? And in many times, since uh uh we were we we all have uh had levels of fear, right, in our lives. And this this fear it produces doubt and unbelief, and it produces a lack of trust in God. We can see that fear entering in during enters in during difficult times in our lives and produces doubt and unbelief. Let's look at Job 3 and 25 real quick. Job 3 and 20 25. We're getting there, y'all. Hallelujah. Uh for for for the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of, it come unto me. That was all afraid of is come unto me. So I I really have to watch what I'm afraid of. I really have to watch what I fear. Now, from the perspective of in Job, and God said that Job was a perfect and upright man, and and and job come to uh and and and uh job was doing all of the things that God required, and the devil comes to God and acts about Job and God uh removes uh the hedge and and allows uh uh for Satan to do what he what he wants to do. But Job understood something about God, even though he don't know. This is what gets us sometimes. We don't know what's going on. And most of the time, as our thinking works, as just being some people don't have it, but probably most do, it draws to the negative first. Uh-huh. Yeah, yeah. I think it draws to the negative first, and because it draws to the negative first, the negative can produce doubt and unbelief. And when the negative produces that doubt and unbelief, because the doctor said, or because of this, that, and the other, when it produces that, it lessens our confidence in what God is able to do if we're not careful, it lessens our confidence in what God is able to do. So when Job uh had that first attack, Job now he's thinking, am I gonna lose everything? And this when Job confesses uh through the midst of this, for the thing that I feared the most. That's why when something hit, you have to you have to think the word of God. Right? The thing that I feared the most has now come upon me. So Job now welcomed the other stage that the enemy was was gonna release because he had done all he could do with Job in this stage. So Job uh uh in this stage, so now he goes back to God, and God says, Well, do whatever you want to do, but don't take his life. And so you have to watch fear, and we have to stay out of fear, and we have to get ourselves uh out of fear and away from fear, right? Right? We don't want to be fearful, huh? We don't want to live in fear, dwell in fear. How how how habitually, because the Bible says that fear is torment, right? So I want to get out of fear and I want to get the word of God working on my situation. Glory to God, glory to God, and and so we want to close all doors that the enemy can come in through. Let's look at Mark 4, 35 through 41. Glory to God. Mark 4, 35 through 41. Glory to God, hallelujah. Y'all hear, right? Y'all hear? Hallelujah. Living by living by faith, I must eradicate and remove all ideas and concepts being ruled by fear. And the same day, when they and the same day when the evening was come, he said unto them, let us pass over unto the other side. Next verse. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship, and there were also with him other little ships. They crossing over to the other side, y'all. Next verse, and there arose a great storm of wind. Now, they probably wasn't expecting this storm of wind. Probably if they was expecting it, they might not have sailed. But Jesus said, Listen, we're going over to the other side today. Now, load them up, let's go. And there arose a great storm of wind. Sometimes storms of wind and storms of things rise in our lives, catches us completely and totally off guard. We're not ready for this thing to hit, right? We weren't expecting this. This came out of nowhere, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full, full of water. Waves beating into the ship. Next verse. And then you hear about some going over on this side. And the job didn't say, Well, we might be laying you off. When boat getting full, what's going on? What's happening? Where all this stuff is coming from. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, Jesus, sleep, on a pillow, and they awake him and said unto him, Master, carry thou not that we perish. You you master, you you need to get up here and you need to do something. You need to get a bucket and help bail. You you you need to do something, you need to help pull us. You you need to do something. You sleep. And and you and you see, and you and we down here about to perish. I don't I don't even know how you're sleeping with all this water in the boat. And we have a tendency to announce our defeat. That's what they did. They master, carest thou not that we perish? In other words, they they're they're saying that what Jesus said to go over to the other side, that ain't gonna happen because we we're gonna perish out here. And you should never denounce or never consider defeat. Because the word of God has given us every every word we need to overcome every strategy and every tactic. Jesus gets up verse next verse, and he arose and rebuke the wind, talk to the wind. He's talking now. You ever had to come out of your sleep? Ha shot, moco shake, hey, knocko, moco, she taught you ever had to come out of your sleep, say, get behind me, Satan. You ever had to come out of your sleep, say, I'm gonna be victorious in this day. Glory to God. And he arose and he rebuked the women. He went to talking and said unto the sea, sometimes you have to talk to your situation. Sometimes, maybe even in the midst of fear, you have to talk because your talking will overrule the fear that's trying to raise up. And he said unto the sea, peace. Be still. He didn't take on a prayer. He didn't pull out the scripture. He was the scripture. He didn't say, Hey, y'all come over, all y'all come over here, and and we're gonna say this together because we need power. And he said unto the sea, peace be still. And the and the wind cease. The wind ceased to disobey what he said. That's why we have to we have to be careful about what we say. Because A lot of times we don't even have trust in what we say. We have said stuff and don't mean it, and stuff and don't and don't mean it a bit more than anything. And then when it comes to use our words for power, our our soul don't know how to act. Everything you've been saying, you ain't meant it. Now you want to say this. And be still. And he said, and the wind ceased, and there was a great come. He didn't say it just come down, but that was a great come. It was like nothing had ever gone on or nothing had ever happened. Jesus got up and spoke. Now in verse 40, verse 40, watch it. And he said unto them, Why are ye so filthy? Then he moves on to another place. He says, How is it that ye have no faith? How is it that you didn't even try? You didn't, you how is it that you just you just buckled and gave in? It's twelve of y'all up there. Why why didn't you say something? Sometimes we don't say anything. Just gonna ride it out. I ain't gonna talk to it. Ain't gonna say anything to it. I'm just gonna ride it out. But Jesus woke up and he says, How is it that you have no faith? How is it that you have no faith? Or how is it that you fail to release your faith? Fear can traumatize and paralyze sometimes. We see in the scripture where David came up, and that was the war of the battle going on, and Goliath would come out every morning and look for a fighter. But all of Israel was paralyzed, they were traumatized because of his sight. They wouldn't even say anything as a group. I mean, maybe they could have charged him as a group. We one of us can't take him, but maybe all of us. Trauma and paralyzed. How is it that you have no faith, or how is it that you fail to release your faith? What Jesus was really saying to them, there's some things that I do, but there are some things that you have to do. You keep telling me to get this thing out of the way, and my word tells you to say something to that thing to get it out the way. He says, You say to the mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in your heart that whatever you say, it shall come to pass. And sometimes we keep, y'all, y'all excuse me. I'm I'm I'm y'all excuse me. Sometimes we keep talking to God about it. God is saying, They talk to the situation. Won't you talk to the circumstance? Won't you talk to the problem? Won't you talk to the mountain? Won't you talk to it? What are you saying to it lately? Glory to God. For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass. He shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them. No matter how difficult it is, you believe that you receive them, she shall have them. Glory to God, hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. I might think I think I'm gonna have to finish up maybe, maybe next time. Glory to God. Ah, glory to God. And so Jesus has an experience with them where he says that these people right here, they don't, for some reason, they forgot. I mean, it ain't been 24 hours, and we done fed them people, and they they saw the thing that was done, and and uh this this this this bond, this right here is no worse than than feeding the folk we just fed. But I know sometimes the thinking is that when we saw uh Jesus do it, now we can think that every time something has to be done, we have to go get Jesus to do it. When literally in our time, he has given us the authority and the power to do it. All right, let's look at Mark 5, 25 to 31. 25 to 31. This is a different operation of faith. Y'all just stay stay in here with me. Hallelujah. Different operation of faith. It's a whole different perspective, right? That this woman with the issue of blood had, right? And a certain woman which had an issue of blood 12 years. Now, 12 years, that's kind of long enough to be gave up for anything, huh? You you gave up, you mean decided, listen, I just go on home with the Lord. Amen. And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all she had, and nothing bettered. Can you can you imagine going to the best physicians? Can you imagine going to the best financial advisors and getting advice and getting in investments and getting in stocks and all of them, all of them you get into, you lose your money. Huh? She said that she had gone to the best they had. She called them in from all over, or at least went to them, and was nothing better, but rather they couldn't even stop it. But she rather grew worse. Next, you you didn't have some problems where you thought by now they ought to gotten better, but it looked like they're getting worse. Well, there's still hope. Huh? There's still hope. And when she had heard of Jesus, uh I don't know if she was on the news or somebody came by with a flyer, or uh uh uh or somebody was running down the street saying, Jesus is coming to town, Jesus is coming to town. But then we said when she when she had heard of Jesus, she came into the press behind and touched his garment. Next verse. Now watch what she said. For she said, If I may touch his clothes, I shall be whole. She declared what she wanted. Glory to God. She declared what she wanted, she wasn't nervous about it, she wasn't scared. She she had 12 bad years behind her. And she said, and she must have thought, either this is gonna do it or not. Your faith has made you whole. This lady was facing a slow death and going into the crowd in her condition, she could have also produced a speedy death because in her condition, uh, she wasn't not supposed to be in crowds. And so she was either gonna die slowly, and but she took the chance or she could get speedy, but she took the opportunity to get to Jesus. She said she had said, she had said within herself. Some stuff you say within yourself, and people don't know. But you said it within yourself. You ain't telling nobody, but you saying it within yourself. I'm gonna be whole, I'm gonna be I'm gonna be out of this financial situation, I'm gonna be boom boom this, I'm gonna be boom, boom, that, I'm gonna be reunited, I'm gonna be connected with my church, I'm gonna be blah, blah, blah. You you saying it, she said within herself, she was telling herself that she believed that this was gonna happen. And then she went up and and she had a strategy. Somebody said strategy. She put on her clothes, right? She throwed on a hoodie, put it over her head, and a blanket over her head, and then she said, This is my strategy. I'm gonna get down low. And I'm gonna cry. I'm gonna make my way to Jesus. Because I know them people, they ain't gonna be looking, they ain't gonna be looking down. I know they're gonna be looking up because they're gonna be they're gonna be trying to see Jesus. And and that's gonna be uh uh the deploy that I needed.

Glory to God.

That's gonna be what I needed to get to him without being caught. And she got up to Jesus and and glory to God. This boy didn't my preacher's imagination right here. She got up to Jesus and and and uh and every now and then she probably had to look up how far I gotta go. And she got up to Jesus, and when she got up to Jesus, she said, I ain't gonna say nothing to him. I'm I'm not gonna I'm not gonna speak to him because she said within herself, she's already said within herself that I can if I can touch the hem of his garment. Healing by contact, faith being released on contact. That means that since she said I can have to touch his garment, that means the the thing she needed to receive her healing, she had no other opportunity but to go to get to his garment, because at the point of contact of touching his garment, she said, I will be made whole. Uh he don't, he don't, if he who he said he is, he don't need to talk to me, he don't need to see me, he don't need to speak to me, he don't he don't need to have words with me, he don't need to do anything. If he still is who he says he is, I can touch his garment. And I'll just glory to God. Anybody wanna touch Jesus? She said I touch his garment, and and then when I when I touch his garment, I'm I'm I'm I'm just gonna be ready to turn around and make my escape because I gotta I gotta go to the priest and show the priest that this thing was healed. But don't you know the priest was already there? Jairus was there. Glory to God. And Jesus says, Huh, who touched me? Felt the virtue go out. This is faith in operation, faith happening, not because of Jesus was a was aware, he might have been, not because he was aware, but because she made a declaration. If I can touch his clothes, hallelujah. I remember I was reading a book one time, and I said, Lord, when I get done reading this book, I want you to, which would you give me a greater revelation and greater understanding of what I just read? It was a short book, it wasn't a long book. And man, I finished reading that book, and I was getting ready to get up out of the chair, and it hit me. I said, What didn't you say, God? I mean, you you you saying that that, what I just read, is possible and highly possible today. He said, Yes, I'm gonna give you revelation, I'm gonna give you understanding of it. Asking you shall receive. Seeking you shall find. Knock, and the door will be open. And so she was healed instantly that day. Glory to God. Let me hurry to a close. Can y'all give me about 10 more minutes? Ah, second 2 Timothy. So we see in those two groups of scripture, we see where faith and and listen here, listen here. It's all depending on the person. None of it was dependent on Jesus. This woman got healed, and and as far as we know from what the scripture tells us, Jesus didn't know she was gonna be there because Jesus asked the question, Who touched me? But it's depending on her walking in faith, her living by faith, her acting on what she believed to be true. Ah, glory to God, hallelujah. In 2 Timothy uh 1 and 7, glory to God. Let's go there quickly. It's very familiar, scripture, uh, 2 Timothy 1 and 7. Hallelujah. Because if we're gonna live in the now, and and and God speaks to us on a daily basis, or if we're gonna live in the now and He He gives us an assignment maybe for that day, we're not gonna have to allow fear to grip us, right? But we can't complete the assignment. The Bible says God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. He has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sign, sound mind. All right, let's look at first John 4 and 18. Hallelujah. Glory to God. 1 John 4 and 18. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. He said that in 1 John 4 and 18, glory, he said, uh, there is no fear in love. So this means that if fear is absent, if fear is present, that means that that's something uh mess, there's something uh about the love. He said, but perfect love casts out fear. We have the perfect love of God. God has shedded his love uh out upon us because fear is what torment. Fear is torment. You remember, y'all remember Gideon? Hey, y'all remember Gideon when he had those 22,000, right? And uh he took them down. He he asked first of all, uh, who of them are fearful and afraid? And and many of them went home. Many of them went home, they were fearful and afraid. You don't want fearful people when you're finna go into battle. You don't want scared people when you're when you're about to go in the fight. And and then uh he said that uh he watched how they drink drunk from the river, and some of them cupped their hands and got the water and drunk and kept their eyes up. Other ones they bowed their head and he told all of them too to go home. And he took 300, right, and defeated the enemy. He took 300 and defeated uh the enemy and all of their all of their tactics. So God just needs some brave people. He needs some people that don't have fear because perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment. He that feared is not made perfect in love. He didn't say that you don't love, he just said that you're not made, that you're not made perfect in love. Perfect love can be defined as mature, developed in understanding and comprehending God's love, able to eat the meat of the word. But at times, it does not mean that you don't make mistakes, right? Does not mean that you're flawless, does not mean that I'm flawless, but it does mean that I'm mature in the word of God, understanding and comprehending his love, and I'm able to walk in that, but it does sometimes uh make a mistake. Does not mean uh that you are uh that we are uh uh without mistake, but it means that we know how to walk in love, God's ability to love, and we have an understanding of it. Because somebody waiting to get perfect as the word, as the world defines perfect, when I get rid of all of this stuff and get rid of all of that stuff, and get rid of all of that stuff, you know. Then I what you're saying is when you consider yourself perfect, right? But perfect love is the development in the law of love and the development and the comprehension and understanding of that love, development in that love uh and understanding means that uh uh uh I am I am not as I want to say it, afraid of judgment or punishment. Huh? I'm not afraid of judgment or punishment because I walk in that love of God, right? I walk in that love of God. Let's real quick get uh 1 Peter 2 and 2. We're gonna we're gonna close out here. Many times we deal with the fear of punishment and judgment, and death uh is one of the greatest fears that even most believers have, even though that, even though we know that we're gonna pass from uh this life uh by the vehicle of death, right? A newborn as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word that we may grow thereby. All right, next scripture. If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious, to whom coming as unto a living stone, disallowed uh indeed uh indeed of men, but chosen of God and precious. Next one verse, please. Ye also, ye also, we also in the body of Christ, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices accepted to God by Jesus Christ. And I think we go one more, verse six. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, behold, I lay in Zion a chief counter, a chief cornerstone, elect precious, and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. You know, meaning that we believe on God, we shall not be in fear. We shall not be in fear, we shall not live in fear. Oh, you may have a thought of fear, but you should bring that under, you should captive, cap bring captive that thought. We should teach and we should say the word of God in every situation, in every circumstance, and under every condition. Believers, we don't fear faith. I mean, we don't fear death. We don't fear death. We walk in love, we walk in the peace of God, we walk in once oneness of God, because wherever fear is, it will prevent me at some time from fulfilling what he's called me to do. Wherever fear is, that fear holds point. It's a reverse of faith. Fear will keep me from coming into the thing that I'm be I won't. Sometimes people just won't, but they don't believe because fear will keep them from keeping you from moving in that circle, it'll keep you from moving out to do what's necessary to do it. And anytime something happens, you'll back down. You'll back down. You won't back down on purpose, you'll back down because that's what's in you to back down. Amen. Amen. So when we live by the law of love, we overcome fear. Right? Fear is Satan's strategy to keep me from doing what he wants me to do. And anytime Satan can can uh activate that fear in me, anytime he can do that, you can best believe he's gonna hinder you from doing something. Some we won't say it, but sometimes when God says for us to do something, uh uh and and we don't wanna we don't want to do it, we just demon as we don't want to do it. But really, it's fear down on the inside. And the thing about fear is fear don't like to be recognized. Fear really wants to think, wants you me to think it's just me. Well, I'm just a shy person. I I just don't I just don't talk to people I don't know. See, we use other phrases and we use other things that don't point at the root, and really the root is fear. Sometimes we even sometimes we even use and somebody asked I'm in the cold. If somebody asked us to do something, we said, well, I gotta pray about it. That's fear, sometimes because you already know, you are you already know that that right there is something, uh you just know it's something you don't want to do, and sometimes you need to ask yourself why don't I want to do it? Because when you get into questioning phase, that's when you get to finding out stuff. You find out stuff about you. When you get on, I get honest with myself, I find out stuff about me. You know, we might not want to get honest too much. But you get honest with yourself, you find out stuff. So our greatest strategy or the enemy's greatest strategy is to get us to fear. And whatever phrases, whatever words, whatever states meet statement we use, he don't mind. As long as whatever was supposed to be accomplished don't get accomplished. He don't mind. As long as God don't get any glory, he don't mind. As long as that's not a manifestation of the power of God. He don't mind. He don't mind what word you use, what word I use. He don't mind. As long as God doesn't get any glory.
