Um you know, uh, like I had told Troy, now in full transparency, before I had ever met, I'm you know, for all you guys listening, for before I had ever met Grimsey, you know, I had some, I had some established, some rooted assumptions because of the the company that he is often seen in, you know, or people that mention him. And I thought he was one of them. I thought he was one of those guys that just is gonna wrestle to get in front of every camera that somebody's doing something with so he can spit his name out there and and do all that. And I was absolutely shocked to find out you are literally, and I don't think I've ever been so wrong on an assumption. Um and and this is me apologizing to you, Grimsey. I have never been so fucking wrong about an assumption that I have placed on somebody. Yet again, I should take my own advice. You should uh you should do your research and then make the assumptions. But man, I had you pegged for a dick rider, I had you pegged for all this, and and you know, you're just like me. You're like, all right, get that fucking camera out of here. I didn't come for that. I loved it. I loved it.

I I just started making content last year. It hasn't even been a year since I started making content. So, you know, when I finally got around the content shit, it it's a it's a whole new fucking world for me, man. I'm I'm not one to like get around people I fuck with and pull cameras out all fucking day and and and and and need to fucking do content and do this and do that, and hey, look what's going on over here. If if I'm around, if I'm around, you know, my guys that I fuck with, there's really no need for it. So I mean, it was a rude awakening for me.
SPEAKER_03It was a rude awakening for me too, brother. Because I've been I you know I started doing social media stuff in 2008, and you know, I was all over the map, didn't know what to, you know, because back then nobody really knew what this was gonna turn into. So you just kind of like did your spiels, you know, said your piece, and then you got the fuck out of the way of everybody else. And you know, I I I you know, all over, like I said, all over the highway for a decade, and then I finally started just kind of reeling it in, like, I'm gonna do personal development. You know what? I'm seeing everybody, all this shit on the internet that is just not making people better. Somebody's gotta be out here making people better. And I know that I'm not the only one, but the group of the people that are making people better is very small on the internet because most of the internet is just jam-packed with the look at me people. Look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look who I'm friends with. I've got to tag 900 fucking people in this post every time because I gotta have you know that I'm friends with them because that makes me feel important. And uh, and and and it was a like I said, it was a rude awakening for me too, because it was just with it's just in the last year, year and a half, where I actually started getting some traction, like some real traction. And the more traction I got, the deeper I got into the behind the scenes kind of aspect of this social media life we live. And I gotta tell you, 85 to 90 percent of the people I was like, I followed, I'm like, this is a real one, this is a real one. It turns out they're not. It turns out they're just dick riding for attention. Like they just want the whole internet to believe that they're friends with everybody, they don't have any shame, they don't have any pride, they they they put their ego in the closet, which I believe you need a little bit of an ego to make it anywhere. But man, it was it was wild to see this shit. And then, and then, and I'm sure you can agree with this, and Dave too. Once you start getting into the circles of creators, we're gonna air quote that word real loosely, creator. Um, once you get start getting into the circles of the creators, you start really understanding how things work. You know, you start you start either getting invited or not getting invited based on what they they think you are, how you are, you know, and and like we've talked about it, all of us. It's uh people people judge as I did with you. Um, people judge people based on one-minute videos on the internet. It's like, dude, this is this is just this is this is my shtick, this is my spiel, this is how I get this word out and get you to listen. This isn't, you know, I couldn't tell you how many people are always, you know, like, well, you're just always so angry. No, I'm not. I'm I'm loud because I I've always you know worked in shops.
SPEAKER_01So I'm and even and even if you even if you were angry, so the fuck what? I'm saying there's a lot to fucking be angry about. Yup, you know what I'm saying? That that fucking that whole never meet your hero shit works on on the smallest of fucking levels, you know what I'm saying? You you meet somebody or you talk to somebody that you see on the internet that you think fuck this is gonna be a solid fucking dude, and you realize that's not who the fuck it is at all, you know what I'm saying? And it it starts to fuck with your mental a little bit because it's like it's my like my perception is off right now, right? My perception has to fucking be off because my my my real motherfucker meter is is usually pretty spot on, and then you get a real uh yeah, I fucked the pooch on that one. So I mean we're gonna have we struck out on that, we gotta find another one, man. So it's just one of those things, bro. It's like you you you you find the real ones and you weed out the motherfuckers that's not, and you gotta keep it pushing because at the end of the day, everybody's got their own agenda, everybody's got their own, you know, shit going on and why they're doing it, and you just gotta fuck with who you fuck with, and then and if you don't fuck with them, you you move on to the to the next peoples, man.
SPEAKER_02Well, and that's like go ahead, and I think what happens is a lot of the times, like I mean, because I mean we're talking about the internet here, you know, with social media and all that stuff, content creators and all that bullshit. So a lot of people put it on this act, you know, and then when you start once you start to finally get to know the person, their mask is going to slip. Everybody masks everybody's mask slips, and once it does, that's it. Your your whole facade is fucking gone, it's torched.
SPEAKER_03Well, and that's what's hard for the real ones like us guys, you know, and and and and a handful of other motherfuckers that we're all mutual friends with, is we, you know, we were real, and then we thought other people were real, and then we thought this world was real that we've entered, and then we figured out all of it is just all fake bullshit. Like I did a whole video, not maybe a couple months ago, about how social media really is. It's literally Hollywood for people that hate Hollywood. If you just want to piss and moan about the Hollywood and all the fakeness, you come to social media to do it, and then you become fake and you piss and moan about shit, and then you go on like living your Hollywood life. But uh, it's a really stiff learning curve for the real ones because when the real ones, like all of us, we come out here, we have to learn all this shit. We're peeling apart things like the layers of an onion. We're like, all right, who the fuck are you really? Who the fuck are you really? And then you get to a point where you just look around and you're like, dude, there's nobody here. There's nobody here I can fucking trust. You know, and then you you push through that and you kind of enter no man's land. You're just doing your own thing. Like with me with Savagely Loud. I went went through all that shit, and I'm like, fuck this, fuck all of it. I'm just doing me. I'm gonna concentrate on me, and everybody else can wash away. Next thing you know, you do that long enough, then the real ones start coming. You start getting the real ones popping out of the woodwork, you know. They start pulling them out of other circles. They're like, holy shit, a real one. I can and then they leave their little circle behind, and then they come form with you. And I've seen it happen with you, actually, to you, online in your comment sections where people would be like, dude, you're the realest motherfucker. Like, I had no idea, you know, but that's how it is.
SPEAKER_01You know, it's it's it's crazy because like you know, going into this, like man, like I hate the fucking like influencer or content creator fucking, but I'm just bro, I'm normal as fuck, bro. Like, I'm not influencing this shit. You know what I'm saying? I'm just on here being a dickhead, bro. Like I'm I'm like you, you you cut, like you say, you come into this fucking world and you realize it's not what you think it is, and and you gotta fucking pivot. And and I think you know, you I started, I started my pivot, and then I feel like the genuine shit comes out, and the people that are really fucking with you, right? And it's the people the people that follow you, you know, your followers or whatever, those are the motherfuckers that even make you relevant at all. So when I look at my comments and I can see, you know what I'm saying, real, any anything fucking real, it it makes me feel good because I'm giving motherfuckers my genuine self, right? Because you just brought up the pivot, and we're and I want to touch on what you're pivoting into because I I you know we're all watching you kind of pivot your content because but um uh when you're a real motherfucker, you establish fans, like people that actually like you, your followers, whatever. Um, if it depends on how real you are to figure out how much how how much of them you will retain through the pivot because we all have done it. We've all started here and wanted to do something different because we fucking figured out this is a dead end or nobody listens or it falls on deaf ears, whatever it might be. So we pivot and we just we want to do something that makes ourselves happy. And then we see, like, you know, you'll hemorrhage some followers, or you're like, all right, get rid of the fucking fair weathers. But when you're real, you don't see a lot of that. Like I just did, I did my pivot. I started out personal development, and then I went to cultural commentary, um, kind of falling on deaf ears. We made some headway, but it's not something I really wanted to talk about because the whole atmosphere of cultural commentary, which is very different than political commentary on social media, um, it has been it started being a weird thing for me, and I started getting creeped out. I mean, to be honest with you, like I'm like, okay, that's a fake, that's a fake, that's a fake, that's a fake. You know, I came from a history of racism, you know. Like I let a click back in the day, and you know, I would see like when I first got started seeing Nick Fuentes, I was like, okay, it threw me off that he was half Mexican, but he was all white power, you know, it was like weird. But he was saying, he was saying realistic shit about politics and the world. So I was like, all right, I'll follow, you know, and then inevitably he slipped up and I was like, ah, you're a fraud. And then Jake Lang, everybody knows that guy's a Jew that's trying to start wars between the Christians and the Muslims. You're a fucking fraud. Now, Lucas Gage comes out as a fraud, and this other fucking, and then you but then you got the other end. You got the Chud the fuck the Chud the Fuckstick builders who intentionally do illegal shit so that they can do illegal shit. And and it's just like, dude, this is this is bad for everybody. So I'm just gonna.
SPEAKER_01And that's that's I think that's my biggest thing. I like and here's my thing. I try to stay away from like the fucking gotcha shit, right? Like the the Chud the Builder. I I need to know. I'm not set in fucking uh you know 20 years of fucking Republican psycho babble shit, right? Now I'm coming into this shit fresh. I'm trying to see things from from from my own fucking head, figure it out. Okay, this sounds this sounds good to me. This sounds like bullshit. Okay, well, in between that is where the real is gonna be, right? You're gonna have your bullshit, you're gonna have the real shit, and in between is probably as close as you're gonna fucking get. So I I started doing that, and really well, when I started doing politics, I was doing, you know, politics simplified, man. I was doing politics in a way that people like me can understand what the fuck is going on, you know what I mean, and don't have to spend hours researching. Well, okay, well, the Ukraine and Russia war started in this year, and then this, this is I don't know. I'm just gonna put fucking, I'm gonna put Donald Trump, I'm gonna put fucking uh Putin, I'm gonna put the the little short fucking actor in a car together and we're gonna have a conversation. That's that's what it started out to be.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Well, I think what I think the way you did it and and and your uh your you know like ethnic background and shit, I think it was awesome because like you just you just said it. Your your community of people doesn't give a fuck about politics. They it's you know, they vote how they're kind of told to vote because they've got all this other shit going on, like normal fucking people, you know what I mean? So they don't pay a whole lot of attention. And plus, I think, honestly, um, I think the Mexican community or the whole Latin community for that matter, I worked with I've worked with Ecuadorians and Hondurans, and y'all guys kind of look at it the same way as like I do, like nothing is ever gonna change this shit. This has been going on since the beginning of fucking mankind. If you think it's gonna fucking change now, just because you talk about it on the internet, you're wasting your fucking breath. You could be working, you could be fucking mowing your grass, you could be planting flowers, you could be but raising a family, you could be doing all this shit, but mowing your grass. I see what you did there, yeah. You like that? I see what you did too. But I like flowers too. Yeah. But uh well, they they've got the most beautiful houses in the neighborhood that I live in, so you know but um, but yeah, but you the way but then you came out and you had this way with people. Like I saw the interactions, like you brought the people that didn't give a fuck out of the shadows, and you started making them kind of do that side-eye thing, like, what are you saying over there, you know? Like, I think you're making a little bit of sense, you know. It was a lot like personal development for me when I heard Andy Frisella. Like, I personal development, I've I've done it my whole life, I just never knew what it was called. And I didn't like anybody because they were all they all talk like, well, and now we're going to talk about and that that's boring. I'll move them to the fucking, you know, like when I because typically the way I don't know how it this works for everybody else, but typically when people that hate me message me, they message me something that will get them put into the primary mailbox inbox so that you get the notifications, you know, and then they start hitting you. So I move them to the general inbox and I just let them blow up because I don't get the notifications. And then just when I think they're done, I'll I'll I'll open the messages so they can see that I read it, and then I'll get back out of it, and then they'll fire off again, and I will just continue. I will yo-yo these motherfuckers in and out, just and just puppet master the shit out of dance, motherfucker.

SPEAKER_01And and that's what I'm always gonna fucking do, man. I'm always gonna do shit that excites me and and gets a laugh out of people. You know, my my my biggest thing is people they love my content because it's funny, man. And I'm not even trying to be funny, right? But it's fun, it's funny to them, and it it brightens people's day, man. I've had I've had people come to me at a really dark time in their life and and hit me with some real some real shit.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, and and how and how it helped.
SPEAKER_01And that it's it's heavy, bro. It's it's heavy, it's a lot to bear. You you you listen to to somebody tell you some some real real heavy shit about you know not wanting to live anymore and and and and seeing a video and that video is what what kept them going. That's that's all that's weight that you gotta carry, man. That's some that's fucking weight that that I wasn't expecting to have to carry doing this. So as long as I can be happy doing what the fuck I'm doing and and making other people happy, I'm good with that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Well, and and and especially, you know, hats off to you, because you know, like you're you're you're not even in the personal development space. You're in the, you know, like me, I'm in the personal development kind of and I'm and I'm in the mentoring, I've done suicide counseling and all that stuff. I know the weight, the actual weight of having because you know, when somebody tells you that, if you're a real motherfucker, like you feel it with them, like you you have no choice because it's in you to feel this pain with them. So because you want to understand that. Uh, and and like I said, hats off to you, because I can only imagine what kind of shit that that you know emotional spectrum that creates that sparks in you when it comes out of the blue, you know, like me, I kind of always kind of always expect it just because of the fucking genre I'm in, you know. But right, you you like you're in this other thing, and then and and that's truly the magic of it, is because you're just doing you, you're just being real, being authentic, you're just being all the way grimsy, and people gravitate towards that shit to to to to such an extent that they are comfortable enough with you to spill out this life, you know, this this catastrophic life in instance. And and that's really a testament to who you are. I mean, it you just bleed authenticity right through the lens. It's fucking awesome.
