You can’t live on “I don’t know” forever. Pastor Lee Day sits down again with CFO Church men’s leader Frankie Brown for part two, and we land on a hard but freeing line from Joshua 24: choose this day whom you will serve. Not next week. Not after things calm down. Right now. We talk honestly about why a culture full of options can still produce people who feel stuck, lukewarm, and split between God and whatever promises quick comfort.

From there we open Jeremiah 2 and let the imagery do its work. God calls Himself the fountain of living waters, yet His people trade that for broken cisterns that can’t hold water. That’s not just ancient history. It looks like self striving, chasing control, and doing life “my way” until you’re worn out, dry, and confused about how you got there. Frankie shares how core lies and misplaced blame kept him from trusting the Father, and how Scripture started hitting with conviction and hope, leading him toward redemption he couldn’t earn.

We also challenge what we call polluted water: spiritual habits that look fine on the outside but have no life because the Word is missing. Then we shift to provision and obedience in 2 Kings 4, where a widow’s oil keeps flowing behind a shut door until there are no more empty vessels. The takeaway is practical and repeatable: choose God, remain in step with God, serve God, and be obedient to God, then watch Him fill what you can’t fill.

If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who feels spiritually dry, and leave a review so more people can find it. What “well” are you tempted to dig again instead of letting God be your living water?

Welcome And Service Times

SPEAKER_00

What's going on everybody? This is Pastor Lee Day and I pastor Christ Family Outreach Church located in the one and the only Amelia Courthouse, Virginia. If you've not yet made your way out there to worship the Lord with us, God is doing powerful, mighty, amazing things. We welcome you to come on out. We got two services throughout the week for you to come worship the Lord with us. Thursday night is 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday morning, service begins at 10 a.m. Both services are different. It's not the same message preached. So you get two services in a week. If you want to take advantage of both of them, we'd love to see you come out. If you tuned in to last week's episode, we kind of we kind of titled that along with the chapter one. We didn't get to finish because it was so much good stuff that we just didn't want to rush what the Holy Spirit was doing. So if you've not yet listened to last week's episode, I need you to go back, listen to that one first, then swing back on around, catch this one at another time. Trust me, it's going to be worth your time to do so so that you can kind of pick up uh what we're kind of putting down here. You're not just jumping in in the middle of the thought process. But just like last week, I got brother Frankie Brown. He's the men's leader at CFO Church, and he is back at the table with us. Brother Frankie, how are you doing, my brother?

SPEAKER_01

Man, bro. Blessed to be here for part two. Amen, brother.

Choose Whom You Will Serve

SPEAKER_00

Ready to dive into this thing, man. Take take take a deep dive, brother. It was uh the you know, the the episode was was so rich, it was so full. Uh, we just couldn't have done it any justice to just shut it down at the time that we had to. So, so here we are. We're gonna continue the train of thought, and and we're picking up in Joshua chapter 24. So if you've got your Bibles, go ahead and turn there. Joshua chapter 24, beginning with the 14th verse. And and I'm just gonna start out by reading two verses, and this is what it says. Now, therefore, fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the river and in Egypt and serve the Lord. And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the river or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you will dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. So, Brother Frankie, again, we see in scripture everything that we were seeing in last week's episode, uh, where a choice has to be made. And and here he is telling them, choose you this day. Make your mind up. Who are you gonna serve? You're you're either gonna serve the one living true God Yahweh, or you're gonna serve those false idols, those those man, man-made gods, but you gotta you gotta choose who you're gonna serve. Stop being lukewarm, stop riding the fence, stop running back and forth. Make your mind up. Like we said in last week's episode, stop being a god hopper. That's right. Stop being a god hopper. Uh so so there needs to be a choice of who, my good friends, who we're gonna faithfully serve. To who will we be obedient? Will we be hot or will we be cold? Will will we walk in the light or are we gonna walk in the darkness? But here's the deal, brother Frankie. We cannot have it both ways. No, no, we can't have it our way. It's not Burger King, it's the one true king. It's the one true king, Yeshua. It's Jesus that we gotta choose.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And if you if you're taking notes out there, brothers and sisters, just write this down. A choice must be made.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_00

A choice must be made. Brother Frankie, uh, why do you think it's so hard for, and I just use Americans as an example, why do you think it's so hard for Americans to make the choice to choose to be hot, not cold? Why is it so hard for people to make a choice about what they're gonna believe in and who they're gonna follow?

SPEAKER_01

I believe it has a lot to do with the culture we live in. Um, you know, comfortability, like last week's episode touches on it big. But I also believe, man, with such a busy world we live in, a choice must be made. But far too often we don't we don't choose before the choice comes, you know. Like we don't choose before the opportunity presents itself. So just like Joshua's telling the people, he's like, man, you gotta choose, you gotta make your mind up. You can't have it both ways. This ain't Burger King. That's right.

SPEAKER_00

This way, this day.

SPEAKER_01

This this day, this day, don't choose tomorrow, don't choose next week, but this day.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Choose this very second, actually.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Isn't it something that in the land of freedom, in the land of so many choices, we have a hard time choosing to serve God. We love to we love to make choices on everything else, though, don't we? Right. We we we love to make choices on where we're gonna go out to eat. We love to make choices on like what kind of snacks and sugars we go, you know, enjoy ourselves with, like, you know, the those desserts and things like that. We we love to make choices, you know. That that's why there's so many buffets out there floating around, because people love choices. That's right. You know, come into come into the buffet and get some of everything. You can have Chinese, you can have, you can have American, you can have Mexican, yeah. You know, you can have so many different types of things on a buffet, all different types of desserts. We we we we just want choice after choice after choice after choice. And I think that oftentimes that's really what hurts us when it comes to stepping into the house of God and actually doing what the word of God calls us to do while we're at the house of God.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, I was just starting cracking up at the table. I was trying to get it together, but you know how many times, like, man, where y'all want to eat at? And and the biggest response is I don't know. I don't know. A lot of people eat it, I don't know, bro. That's a that's a popular place to eat at.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Maybe, maybe, maybe we should open a restaurant title. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

But the truth, but the truth is, bro, they already know in their heart like where they want to eat at. Right. You see what I'm saying? And in the scripture, last time I checked it in Ecclesiastes 3.11, it says eternity is already set in the heart of man. So it's already there. But too many times we got people that that live in this life, even so-called Christians, say, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. What job are you gonna serve today? I don't know.

Forsaking God For Broken Wells

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, that's right. Who you could be faithful to today, who you could be obedient to today, who you gonna love today, or and and and not just say you love, but look like by the way you live, who do you love? So good, bro. So we're gonna jump back to the original chapter that we started out with last week, and that's in the book of Jeremiah, chapter two. And you know, we we were studying. If you're just kind of tuning in to this whole thing and and you have not gone back to to last week's episode like I recommended you to, yeah, then uh then where we're going is Jeremiah chapter two. We've been studying verses one through 11. But right now, we're gonna look at 11 through 13, and this is what it says Jeremiah chapter 2, 11 through 13. Has a nation changed its gods, even though they are no gods, but my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit. Be appalled, O heavens, at this, be shocked, be utterly desolate, declares the Lord. For my people have committed two evils, Frank. For my people have committed two evils, they have forsaken me, God says. They have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water, broken cisterns that can hold no water. So God lists two things, brother Frankie, two evils that the people had committed against him. Number one, if you're taking notes, we've already talked about, all right, that the people have chosen to follow false gods. But number two, number two, God says that they dug out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. So, brother Frankie, I want I want you to kind of consider this, my brother. Here these people are doing all the work, and yet these these these these cisterns, these, these, these wells, they they no good, bro. They're broke. They can't the cisterns can't hold water. You know, so they're so they're digging these wells, the cistern can't hold no water. And how many times in life do we find ourselves as people, even God's people, doing that exact same thing? We'll put our head, our hands, and our feet to things that really at the end of the day don't matter, can't hold water. That's right. And what do you think the reason is, Brother Frankie? Like, why are we willing to go out there and do so much work, so much toil and spinning to do X, Y, and Z and not do what God has called us to do, even if that's half the work?

SPEAKER_01

I believe it has a lot to do with uh our trust in God. Are we willing to wait? You know, I think a lot of times, especially for myself, I miss the mark because I want to go out there and self-strive, you know. Yeah, yeah. I want to I want to go out there and dig, I want to go in there and put the labor in, the work in. But why would I do that if my God is the fountain of living water? But here's the other part that we learn in the text we can't commit the first evil first, you know. A lot of times we're committing the set the second evil first, not really realizing or repenting that we always will commit the first evil first before we commit the second. Yeah. So too many times we're out there striving, not realizing that, hey, we done forsaken or abandoned God, who is the living water.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's that's a that's a great point because so many times people have come to me throughout the years and say, Pastor, I don't understand how I ended up here. And I'm like, Well, it didn't just happen overnight. That's right. So let's get all the way back and get that get that original root out. Because if you don't go get that original root, then all these other things that have taken place from that root up until now, that's just gonna be fruit that keeps being a byproduct from that original root. I love that, bro. So what what is that original thing, listeners, that that that you need to get out of your life right now so that you can stop getting that rotten fruit, that worldly fruit popping up in your life all over the place. Just weeds that you gotta pull up. Amen. Just weeds. Have you have you been there before, listeners? Because I I I know I have. Have you ever so desperately wanted to accomplish something that you were willing to do, whatever it took, as long as you got what you wanted? I've I've I've been there, but here's the problem with that. If it's not what God wants you to do, then everything's just gonna start falling apart. Everything, brother Frankie, is just gonna be coming apart. Here's the deal: God said, I am the living waters, but they are busy trying to do things their own way. They have forsaken the living water. You know, it's kind of like maybe you've been outside working all day, brother Frankie, and you're just out there, you're hot, you're sweaty, and your flesh says, or at least my flesh says, go get that cold Dr. Pepper. Yeah. Right. But deep down I know that that's only gonna make putting all that sugar in my system while I'm I'm out there trying to work in that heat, it's only gonna make me more tired.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

Frankie On Core Lies And Scripture

SPEAKER_00

What pleases me right off the crack of the bat is what's gonna make me lazy down the road. That's right. Where my mind knows and experience tells me, Brother Frankie, that water is the way to go. That's right. You know, water is the way to go. But but don't you know, like we do that, Frankie? We do that spiritually, we do it physically, we do it mentally, emotionally. We we we want to get into all the stuff that that pleases us first and pleases the flesh. And meanwhile, we forsake the living water. That's right. We are forsaking the living water. I I know, brother Frankie, you've been on this episode before where, or you've been on this uh podcast before, where in a particular episode you shared your testimony. But just really quickly, if you don't mind sharing with the listeners, uh, you know, you don't have to dive too deep into it. But what were some of the things in your life that kept you forsaking and turning down the living water that God had for you? What kept you out of the promised land that God wanted to walk you into? What was holding you back for so long?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that the answer to that, brother, is myself. Yeah. And uh we we touched on it on the the uh podcast before, um, this one. But uh believe in core lies. I'm helpless, I'm unlovable. The enemy had me so locked into that that I could not see a father who was doing everything he could to reach me. He was sending people my way. He he would redeem uh certain choices and decisions. Even when I was doing wrong, he would still stop things from making it like getting worse and worse, um, saving me from that kind of um destruction, so to speak. It was destroying me, but he was saving me ultimately from a mass destruction in so many different ways, man. And but for so long, like when I'm when I'm angry, I'm I'm pointing my fist up him, shaking my fist at him. And a lot of times, I just say this with the listeners, like a lot of times we'll take physical issues and problems and we'll we'll relate them spiritually. So a lot of my issues and problems was stemming from some core lies, I believe, from between me and my dad. But instead of like dealing with that as a man and and talking to my father about it, I want to I want to look up at the Heavenly Father and shake my fist at him when the all-time he's like As if it was his fault. Like it's his fault because I'm looking for somebody else to blame. But I remember when I when I went through a divorce, there was nobody else there to blame. So I started looking at the man in the mirror and I started holding myself accountable to the things that I had done. Yeah. The choices I had made. And I want to share this quote before we press on. Absolutely, brother. So many times, man, I I heard this quote, I think it's a Tim Timberlake quote, but he said, We're born looking like our parents, but we die looking like our choices and decisions. And I'm like, That's so good, bro. Say it every time we are born looking like our parents, but we will die looking like our choices and decisions. That's so good. And very rarely, man, we without the word of God, nobody's ever gonna be uh die looking like how they were born. But as a child of God, you can die looking like the father. Come on, man. You can die looking like the father, bro.

SPEAKER_00

Come on. What do you think it was, Frankie, that that you, and I'm sure it's more than one thing, but what was that one big main thing that God kept using to try to get your attention? Was it was it scripture? Was it people giving testimony? Was it people inviting you to church? Was it sermons on a radio, on TV, on your phone? Like, what was it that you would say God just kept using to open your eyes and get to your heart?

SPEAKER_01

And it was scripture. Yeah, it was scripture, man. I was like I said at the time, I was I was doing things I shouldn't have been doing, things I'm I'm really embarrassed to share over the air, but um, but man, God used scripture. Amen. And it started leaping off the page at me. Yeah, started smacking me across my face, man. Even even in the days, it was smacking me across my face. And I just knew in my spirit, he had birthed something in there and said, son, I got so much more for you. Yeah. If you'll just lay it down, like lay this stuff down and trust me and walk it out, and I'll show you who I am. So and the word redemption, man, it always touches me, man, because we can't earn it. I was trying to earn it, yeah, and he was freely giving it to me. Just like we saw the church of Laodicea. Yeah, I was I was one of the uh one of those, man.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

One of those church members, church hopping. Yeah, yeah, that's church hopping, but he he met me there.

SPEAKER_00

If you're wondering what my brother's talking about with the church of Laodicea and church hopping, again, that means you didn't listen to last week's episode. Right and you need to go back, you need to go back and check that out because it was fire. Yeah, God blessed it, he anointed it. We're gonna press on. Let's do it. If you're taking notes, jot this down, John chapter 4, verse 13. In John 4 13, Jesus said, Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. Frankie, that's that's that's my God.

SPEAKER_01

Amen, bro.

Stop Settling For Polluted Water

SPEAKER_00

That's my God. He satisfies. That is my Lord. He is in control, he satisfies, he fulfills, he provides for us what we need when we need it, brother. Yes, the people were trying to do it their own way, and that's what they're guilty of in this moment. They're trying to do it their own way, and God's called them out on it. He's called them out on it in Jeremiah chapter 2, verses 1 through 11. He calls them out on it. And uh, if if you're taking notes, I just want you to write this down. Don't go dig in my own well, do it God's way.

SPEAKER_01

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

And maybe there's some people out there that the reason you're wore out is because you've just been doing it your own way. You've been out there digging your own well. And when it doesn't satisfy, when your sisters are broken, you go on, you try to do another one. And I just want to encourage you, just let God do what you can, what you cannot do. You do what you can do and let God do what you cannot do. But you got to get yourself out of the way. You've got to get yourself out of the way. The problem with doing it our way, Brother Frankie, it's like what God was telling the people back in Jeremiah chapter 2, verse 13, that the people had dug out cisterns for themselves, but they were broken and could hold no water. God, God gave the people pure water and they chose polluted water. You know, because once that water hits out and runs on the ground, it once once once it breaks out and just gets in dirt and debris, like it's it's it's polluted, man. Amen. But how many times do we do we take polluted water for ourselves spiritually?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You know, we settle for less. You know, we we settle for so much less than what God has, man. I mean, I just feel the anointing when I say that because the spirit's ministering to me right now, too. I'm I'm not just talking to you, Frankie, or preaching to these, to these listeners. Like the Holy Spirit is dealing with that in my life too, right now. You know, like stop settling for so much less than what I have to do. Amen, bro. You know, how many times do we do we go for the polluted water? You know, whereas if like if if you know that that that that bottle of water that you have on the table right now, Frankie, if I was to walk up to it and put put some sand in there, you ain't drinking that no more. Nah, probably not. You know what I'm saying? But like, but but but why do we why do we do that spiritually and we still drink it? You know, like we're okay with polluted worship, you know, we're okay with polluted sermons that don't add up to nothing because they got no life in them, because they don't they don't have the word of God in them. Polluted praise, bro. Polluted praise, man. Why why why are we putting up going to churches where where the sermons last 10-15 minutes and then they get you out the door because the next group got to come in? You know, like where's the growth in that type of microwave mentality, that type of microwave church? Just get in there, get out, check the box, drop your money off. And and and years down the road, you're hardly looking any different spiritually than when you first cracked the doors of the place.

SPEAKER_01

Could it be, brother, that that we're just afraid to be broken? And what would it look like if we actually could hold water? You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, because when when pure water gets in, when the living w water of God gets in, it's gonna get in there and wash things out. That's right. It's gonna get in there as it is pure, it's gonna make us pure. And through the righteous blood of Jesus, we then become pure and righteous, not because of what we do, but all because of what Jesus Christ does in and through us. Because the Holy Spirit of God is living in us, uh, convicting us, showing us what needs to come out of us. Yeah. And and and it's just it's just that holy water, bro. It's that it's that living water of God that never that never lets us down. Amen, bro. And I think it's so important that we just touch upon that piece right here, that that that God and what he offers never ever lets us down. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

So here's a question for you listeners out there. Are you guilty of digging your own well? Are you guilty of digging your own well? Now let me take a moment to encourage you in this episode.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Whatever you're in need of in your life right now, you got to keep your faith in God through Jesus Christ, and you gotta let God dig the well. Yes. You got to get your hands off the shovel. You know, you got to get your get your hands off the post hole diggers. That's right. You got to get off the piece of equipment, you got to stop trying to force it, and you just gotta let God do the digging for you. Amen. When it comes to your well. You know, it makes me think of someone on top of a jackhammer. Just you know, and like they're not big enough or strong enough to hold on to it. And really, the jackhammer is bossing them around.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

You know, and I think so many times in life, man, we're like that. We're holding on to the handles of this jackhammer, and and it's you know, like this big giant pogo stick, man. It's just like boom, boom, boom, boom. And and and we think we're doing something, bro, but we're not. You know, we're not. And and here's what I do know about a jackhammer. If you're not strong enough to control it, it ain't gonna do the job that it needs to do. That's right. It's gonna be all over the place. It's gonna be missing the target.

SPEAKER_01

That's right, bro.

SPEAKER_00

It could be missing the target. And and maybe there's some listeners out there right now that are missing the target, not because they don't have the right, the right, you know, God in their life, because there's one living true God. His name is Yahweh.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

But it's because they they keep putting their hands on on what they want done and how they want it done, and they just won't get out of the way and let God do what only God can do.

SPEAKER_01

God wanna jackhammer certain areas of the heart, too. That's hard, you know. Get in there and bust it. Man, we we let that thing drift on over.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Not that part, God. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't get this part. Come over here.

SPEAKER_01

Don't get that hard part right there.

Get Free And Stay Free

SPEAKER_00

Jeremiah chapter two, fourteen, says this Is Israel a slave? Is is he A homeborn servant? Why then has he become a prey? The lions have roared against him, they have roared loudly, they have made his land a waste, his cities are in ruins without inhabitant. Moreover, the men of Memphis and Tauphinhus have shaved the crown of your head. Have you not brought this upon yourself by forsaking the Lord your God when he led you in the way? And now what do you gain by going to Egypt to drink the waters of the Nile? Or what do you gain by going to Assyria to drink the waters of the Euphrates? So here God is making his point known to the people, Brother Frankie. He says, What do you gain by leaving my pure living water for dirty, polluted water? Thinking that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, bro. And man, that just touched me, right? It is so easy to be guilty of that. Yeah. If I could just go over there, if I could just go do this, if I could just go be with those people. That's right. If I could just have it my way, thinking that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. They've they've been freed. These, these, these people and their ancestors, they've they've been freed for a purpose, Frankie. Yeah. And they're choosing to go back into bondage. They want to go back into a land of bondage, whether they whether they realize it or not. If you're taking notes, write this down. Here's a t-shirt, Frankie. Get free, stay free. Yeah. Get free. I need one of those, bro. Get free, stay free. Praise God. Yeah. We need a billboard of that. Just to walk around and remind ourselves. It's kind of like this past Sunday at church. I was I was preaching and one of the things that I said was just choose Jesus. When things get hard, when temptation starts knocking, when tempting starts to tickle the flesh, you just gotta say out loud, choose Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, as you're saying that right now, I just got this image of like of a bug going to a light and he gets caught up in the web, you know? Yeah. And he finally gets free, bro. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Finally, and the only reason he gets free is because the spider's got other bugs that just hit, so the spider's harvesting them. You know, he finally gets out, bro. It ain't 10 seconds later. He comes right back to the light again. And how many times, bro? Yeah, how many times is that us? Like, how many times is that us? Get free, stay free.

SPEAKER_00

Going back to that shiny thing. Stay free. Yeah. Stay free, bro. Amen, bro. And and and I'll put it like this: there's no need to go back to the dirty well that we all came from. Amen. Bro, the truth is we all been to a dirty well.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, we are.

SPEAKER_00

We all come from a dirty well. And the truth is at times we want to run back to the dirty well. That's right. But I just want to say that God's gonna provide the provision.

SPEAKER_01

Amen.

Elisha And The Overflowing Oil

SPEAKER_00

God wants to provide the provision. If you got your Bibles, turn with me to 2 Kings. And when you get to 2 Kings, I want you to go to the fourth chapter, but 2 Kings chapter 4, beginning with the first verse. I'm just gonna read a handful of verses here. It says this. Now the wife of one of the sons of the prophets cried to Elisha, Your servant, my husband, is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord God, but but the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves. And Elisha said to her, What shall I do for you? Tell me, what have you in the house? And she said, Your servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil. And then he said, Go outside, borrow vessels from all your neighbors, empty vessels, and not too few. Then go in and shut the door behind yourself and your sons, and pour into all these vessels, and when one is full, set it aside. So she went from him and shut the door behind herself and her sons, and as she poured, they brought the vessels to her. And when the vessels were full, she said to her son, Bring me another vessel. And he said to her, There is not another. Hmm. And then oil stopped flowing. Now she wanted another one, he bring it, another when he bring it. All these vessels keep getting full. And then finally he says, There isn't another one. And the Bible says that when the vessels ran out, oil stopped flowing. Verse 7, she came and told the man of God, and he said, Go sell the oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on the rest. You see, you don't have to keep digging new wells when you understand that God has the ability and the provision to keep filling you up. You ain't got to go keep digging a well to get living water when God has the ability to fill you up. So, Frankie, I just want to say this. This is what we all need to do, brother. We all need to trust God. Amen, bro. If you feel like your well is going dry, sometimes you have to be willing to go in a little deeper. Yeah. You cannot get comfortable. You do not want to get comfortable. Let God push and press and expand your limits if that's what he wants to do with you. But you gotta let God do what God wants to do. Let God continue to fill your life with the living water that he has to offer you. Let God dig your well, let God fill your well, let God be the one to fill your cup to overflowing. Brother Frankie, would you read 2 Kings chapter 4, verse 5? Just verse 5. 2 Kings chapter 4, verse 5, Brother Frankie.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, the word of the Lord says this. So she left. After she had shut the door behind her and her sons, they kept bringing her containers and she kept pouring. Kept pouring.

SPEAKER_00

Man, that took faith.

SPEAKER_01

It did.

SPEAKER_00

That took faith. It took a great faith because the door was shut. The man of God, Elisha, said, Shut the door. Don't come out here and get from anything out here. What you need's in there.

SPEAKER_01

The spirit's ministering to me heavily right now, too, bro. Verse four and five. That scripture's coming to me when the father's saying, um, go into your prayer closet and shut the door behind you. And right here in four and five, he's saying, go in, shut the door behind you. That's right. And do that work.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_01

Do that work in obedience. Yep, yep.

SPEAKER_00

And and have that faith. Have that faith and watch God do it. Won't He do it?

SPEAKER_01

And she's doing it behind closed doors. So can't nobody else see this, you know? She ain't out there like the um the Pharisees and stuff, proclaiming this behind closed doors, and God is doing it, bro. Keep pouring.

SPEAKER_00

I'd like to say I'd like to say this, Frankie, that I truly believe that once they saw the faithfulness of God, it was contagious.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And they kept wanting to see more. Yeah. That's why the vessels, like once they got to a few, just wasn't enough. They had more. Give me another one. That's right. Let's see God do it again.

SPEAKER_01

Give me another one.

Prayer And Final Charge

SPEAKER_00

Let's see God do it again. Give me another one. Give me number one give me number one. Give me number one. Yeah. Till she till she's she look, she's so excited, she don't even realize it ran out. That's right. She don't even realize it ran out. Like, bro, like, how many times do we get caught up knowing that we're getting ready to run out of something? That's right. Like, like we know how much ice cream's in the freezer right now. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So you start giving yourself smaller portions, you know, to space it out. We know how much ice cream is in the freezer. We we know how much milk is left in the in the in the container in the door of the fridge, you know. Like, we know what we're getting ready to run out of, bro. Yeah, like she's so excited, caught up in the moment here that God is providing miracle after miracle after miracle, that that she don't even know how many empty jars are left, bro. Yeah, she just like, do it again. Give me another. Give me another. Give me another. That's right. Give me another. Like, I mean, this is absolutely amazing, bro. So, like, the faithfulness of God, it the the these people experience it and it's contagious. They they just keep wanting to see God work. That's right. They just want to keep seeing God work. God was faithful to provide the provision then, he's faithful to provide the provision now. Write these things down. Choose God, remain in step with God, serve God and be obedient to God. Yes. Here it is again. Choose God, remain in step with God, serve God and be obedient to God. One more time if you're taking those notes. Choose God, remain in step with God, serve God, and be obedient to God. Let's pray. Father, I'm so grateful that we've had the opportunity to spend these last 30 minutes or so with these listeners. Yes. But most importantly, Father, we are thankful that your spirit has met us right here in this moment.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

No matter where our listeners are at, no matter time of day or night, it doesn't matter. You're you're you're there. You are here. And Father, we are grateful for that. Father, in the name in the blood of Jesus, I pray that all of us would see your faithfulness of work in our lives and that it would be contagious. And that we would just say, God, fill me again. Yes. Fill me again. Here's a brand new day. Use me. Here's a brand new day. Use me. Here's another day. Use me. Yes, Lord. You use me in the morning. Use me in the midday. You use me in the midday. Use me in the evening. You use me in the evening. Use me at the nighttime. God, just use me. Father, may our relationship with you be so real. May it be so real to us that we know that you're willing to use us as long as we're willing to just open the vessel and say, Here I am, God, use me. Father, we're grateful in the name of the blood of Jesus. Continue to use us and pour into us as your people. In Jesus' name and blood. All God's people said. Amen. Amen and amen. Until next time, stay tuned in and pay attention to what God is doing in your life. Keep reading his word.
