Passage: Genesis 31. Every week, the story almost seems the same. God shows up and promises to be faithful, and then stuff happens and Jacob has trouble trusting. He is so afraid. Then it always turns out God is faithful. Familiar, anyone? Insert our name for Jacob's. We struggle to trust because it's hard. In spite of our struggle in this area, Jesus is so gracious.
