Mr JC Yap

Mr. JC Yap has over 26 years of experience in the automotive sector. He’s an engineering graduate in mechanical engineering from the University of Kentucky, USA. He began his long career as a manufacturing engineer for TRANE in the US, then he moved to Ford as a Brand Manager, before finally joining Mercedes-Benz. He’s been with Mercedes for 19 years now.

Presently, he is the Head of Sales for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, where he overlooks both ICE and EV sales operations for the brand. In October 2024, he was conferred a Graduate Directorship from ICDM following completion of the ADIP course, supported by Bursa Malaysia.
